Anda Barut Collection

We have just returned from Anda Barut after an 11 night stay as a family of 3 and all I can say is WOW! Having stayed at Barut Hemera and Arum Barut, I would say this hotel tops them both on all levels. From the moment we arrived we were blown away. On entering the hotel you are welcomed by a stunning lobby area and friendly welcoming reception . The hotel has an extremely chilled, classy vibe to it which made our holiday so relaxing…just what we needed! We were lucky enough to stay in a swim up Room in the community zone and it was outstanding with an infinity pool looking out to the beautiful Aegean. Rooms were cleaned to an exceptional standard, with toiletries and mini bar restocked daily. We sunbathed daily at the Community pool. There were always loads of sunbeds…no sunbed wars here! QR codes at the sunbeds for ordering drinks were great and we never waited long for our drinks to arrive. Huge shout out to both Omer and Yusef on the skates who were so friendly and always quick to serve us with a smile, even though they must have been baking in the heat! The staff at pool bar were also exceptional (sorry didn’t get names). They were very always friendly and professional even when faced with rude, demanding guests which we witnessed on a number of occasions! I also must mention Hamdi who was always there at night to bring our drinks while we watched the entertainment. A true gentleman. The lobby bar was also a great place to relax. Absolutely beautiful decor and a beautiful outside area which overlooks pool and the sea with stunning views. We were greeted here every evening by the lovely Berkan who made the most amazing cocktails again a true professional who always had a smile on his face…he is a credit to this hotel. You will never go hungry at this hotel! We only ate in the buffet at breakfast. There was always loads of choice from omelettes, toasties, meats, cheese, cereals, yogurts etc. We ate in all walk in and reservation a la cartes and the food in all was great, from burgers to fine dining…they have it all! Yes, it was clear that some of these areas are understaffed, however all staff working in these areas were warm and welcoming even though they were clearly under pressure. We might have had to wait longer here to get our drinks/food order taken, but we were on holiday so weren’t too bothered about watching the clock!! We never had any problems with reserving the bookable a la cartes. We ate at all 3 twice with the Turkish Kara being our favourite. The food was delicious and the service we received from Ferit was outstanding. As previously mentioned the hotel has a very relaxed, chilled vibe. If you’re looking for crazy pool games, foam parties then this might not be the hotel for you. What makes this hotel is the attention to detail and the staff. Every member of staff we came across from the housekeeping, the two lovely gentleman who kept the towel station stocked and made the pool area safe by removing excess water, the restaurant and waiting staff all were outstanding. I must give a special mention to Isin on reception who helped us on a few occasions. She was warm, professional and gave five star service at all times. She was a pleasure and a joy to speak to. Overall if you’re looking for true 5 star standard and service in beautiful, luxurious surroundings, then you will not be disappointed. We had a truly wonderful holiday and will definitely return. Well done Anda Barut you have our hearts.

We've just visited as a family. If looking for a clean, modern hotel with facilities and beautiful gardens this is perfect. It is immensely clean, has slides, daily activities including yoga, kids football etc. Entertainment is either a dance act or DJ, a lovely chilled amphitheatre. Unfortunately it stops there. If looking for a hotel with soul, friendly staff who get to know you and where you feel welcomed..then no. Thus I don't rate this 5 stars in comparison to others. Staff in the patisserie didn't serve us for 30 minutes despite no queue, no other customers, they all just hid behind the desk eyeing us up like an inconvenience. A la cartes sell out in seconds, be prepared to be expected to eat at a buffet every evening. The buffet has lovely Turkish food, unfortunately any hot food is cold. I wasn't impressed eating cold cooked chicken, salad and rice each night. For some reason we found the ambience awkward, I'm wondering if they had a bad experience with British guests, I'm really unsure?. Either way it ruined our stay and despite saying morning to everyone and tipping it didn't improve. A lot of staff speak Russian or Turkish but not English, some genuinely try with Google translate so I'd like to thank the lifeguards and the sauna chap, sadly the Italian and patisserie staff need addressing. One day I was served a cocktail which was not mixed/shaken as per recipe, no ice, and told to enjoy my water..?!! The hotel has QR codes to order cocktails, unfortunately our requests were ignored and we found out they didn't have enough staff, it would have been better just to remove the option. So lovely building, but no heart. Management need to mystery shop..too many staff not attending to certain tables, seem to be ignoring some guests and prioritising others. In order to achieve 5 stars if be expecting a friendly experience, hot food, and a la cartes to be available.

We had a fantastic holiday and would happily stay here again. We visited during the low season, so we expected that some facilities and entertainment would be limited or unavailable at times. However, this really didn’t take anything away from our experience. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a lovely atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was cleaned regularly and was a great place to relax after a day out. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had everything we needed for an enjoyable break. Even though it was quieter due to the time of year, there was still plenty to do, and the reduced entertainment wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and felt the hotel offered great value for money. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, we’d definitely recommend staying here.

Our second visit. Food outstanding everywhere (see below for vegetarian comments). Drinks outstanding. Service great. Rooms perfect to suit a family with older teens. Stunning resort hotel. À la carte availability: yes it can be difficult but we ate every single night and most lunches in the à la cartes. So it is possible. Vegetarians: We struggled in some à la cartes for vegetarian food for our son. The vegetarian menu is actually vegan. We did manage to get this resolved but it was a painful couple of days. Resort: Everywhere is beautiful, the design, the landscaping is absolutely stunning. Everywhere is kept immaculate at all times. I love the way you wouldn’t ever see the waterpark or the funfair if you don’t go there! Every area has a different vibe to it. Entertainment: There are DJ nights by the sun, and in Cape Beach. Great for older teens/ young adults. Stylishly done. Service: Normally Great, but one night in Fish Camp was a complete disaster. Otherwise as you’d expect, perfect. Service by the pools quick. Spa: It’s lovely. Our teenage boys loved their nightly Turkish Bath. Gym: I’m told it’s brilliant Beach bar: This was new for us. It’s simply wonderful to sit underneath the olive trees looking down on the beach. The sea is completely clear. A lovely area with top service and drinks. Sun loungers: You could get 4 sun loungers together in any area at any time of day (but can’t comment on the waterpark area) Overall changes to my first review: The courtesy room is much improved. The service in the buffet is as it should be, great. Signs around the resort are now correct and plentiful. Evening entertainment is good. So my small negatives are all resolved. However, there is now a lack of daytime entertainment for teens. There used to be a game in the pool around midday. This is no longer. I understand the hotel believe it’s too noisy. aqua aerobics isn’t noisy? It’s a shame because this was great for teens. A small point but rather changes the holiday if you have teens. If you’re looking for a top quality all inclusive resort hotel in Europe to suit the whole family, I would imagine you’d be hard placed to find anywhere near as good quality.

My family and I had the best holiday at the Anda Barut. The hotel was beautiful, the food was amazing and the entertainment was also great for all ages. Special shout out to the waiter Ismail at fish camp restaurant who was so lovely to my little boy and always took time out to talk to him. The two waiters on roller skates at the family bar were also really lovely. A couple of complaints which I notice have been mentioned by others, the restaurant booking system via the app is not fit for purpose, it was impossible to get a booking some days so we had to speak to the concierge team. I also felt they needed more waiters/waitresses at some of the restaurants as it was very slow some days and you had to go up and ask someone if you wanted a second drink. Also a very minor point but the mini bar only had beer as an alcoholic option, it would have been nice to have the option of wine when you are paying so much money! I don’t drink beer and our room was very far from any of the bars so it was impractical to take a drink back with two small children and all the swimming stuff! I would definitely return but they could make a few changes to make it even better.
