Be very careful when buying ATV excursions through Hyde Bodrum We had a good overall experience at Hyde Bodrum, but I strongly recommend being very careful with the excursions sold to guests through the hotel. We purchased an ATV excursion after specifically asking the representative to explain the program and what exactly the experience would be like. I have screenshots of the conversation: my question about the program was simply ignored. Instead, we were told that the excursion was starting soon and were asked whether we wanted to book it. After payment, the only information we received was the time when the bus would pick us up. Nobody warned us that we should bring spare clothes or shoes. Nobody explained how dusty the experience would be. When we arrived, we saw that some other guests had brought spare clothes, changed before the excursion, and changed back afterwards. We had received no such warning. The excursion itself was also extremely disappointing. Around 30–40 ATVs drove slowly in one long line through the forest. Overtaking was prohibited. For approximately an hour, we were simply driving behind each other in an enormous cloud of dust. This was not an enjoyable ATV experience. It felt like an hour of breathing dust. We have ridden ATVs several times in other countries and have never experienced anything similar. Our clothes were completely covered in dirt and my white sneakers turned yellow. Immediately afterwards, we reported the problem and asked for compensation. Instead of taking responsibility for the fact that essential information had not been provided before the sale, we were told that it was our responsibility and that we should simply not have participated. Management eventually refused a refund because “the service was provided.” For me, this is the most disappointing part. The problem is not simply that we did not like the excursion. The problem is that we explicitly asked for information before paying, did not receive it, were not warned about the conditions, and then had the responsibility shifted onto us afterwards. I find it surprising that an experience of this quality is being sold to guests of a premium hotel such as Hyde Bodrum. In my opinion, it does not match the standards or positioning of the hotel. We lost our time, our money and damaged our clothes. My advice to other guests: before purchasing any excursion through the hotel, insist on receiving a complete description of the activity, the number of participants, the conditions and exactly what clothing you need to bring. And specifically regarding this ATV excursion: based on our experience, I cannot recommend it.

The food at Hyde Bodrum was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The menu offers a great variety, everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor, and the presentation was consistently impressive without feeling overdone. The desserts, though, deserve a special mention. The flavors were well balanced, the textures were spot on, and every dessert we tried felt genuinely well made. As a couple, it’s not always easy to find a holiday destination that feels calm, peaceful, relaxing, and premium without being crowded or chaotic. Hyde Bodrum manages to offer exactly that. Overall, Hyde Bodrum has impressed us every time, which is why this is already our third stay here. For our upcoming holidays, it will definitely remain one of our top choices.

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything about this place was disappointing. The food was terrible, repetitive, and far below the standard you would expect from a luxury hotel. The menu was ridiculously small and felt more like something from a cheap cafeteria than a five-star resort. The service was awful. Most of the staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and acted as if guests were an inconvenience rather than a priority. There were almost no drinks available, and even basic requests were difficult to fulfill. Finding a taxi was another constant problem, as the hotel offered little assistance with transportation. The beach was tiny, uncomfortable, and overcrowded. The sea area felt restricted, making it seem more like a prison than a relaxing holiday destination. There was absolutely nothing to do. Zero entertainment, no atmosphere, and no activities that would justify the price. This hotel completely failed to meet expectations in every possible way. I would never return and would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to choose another hotel instead.

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. To begin with, the hotel operates under an adults-only (18+) concept, which we found truly delightful — no children around, only a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for grown-ups. The evening parties are absolutely outstanding, featuring top-tier guest DJs who set an incredible mood. I must especially highlight the food — it was simply exceptional! The variety of dishes was impressive: oysters, fish and meat steaks, shrimp, and even a wonderful selection of vegan options. As for the grounds, the beach, while somewhat narrow, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hotel itself is compact, yet it never once felt cramped — there was always a comfortable sense of space throughout our stay. We never had any issues finding sunbeds or seating. The signature cocktails served both on the beach and by the pool were absolutely delicious. I would also like to extend a special thank you to the entire hotel team: the reception staff, and especially Zhanat, who was always available and attentive to every request, no matter how small. And, of course, our sincere gratitude goes to the hotel manager for the thoughtfulness, high level of organization, and warm hospitality throughout our stay.
