Liberty Signa

We stayed at Liberty Signa as a family of 4, with two adults and two children age 7 and 3 and we had the most wonderful holiday. My 7 year old daughter has recently been diagnosed with coeliac disease. She’s also a little foodie, so naturally, I was very worried about the food choices that may be available for her on our holiday due to her being gluten free and whether she would be able to have the same experience as us. I had contacted the Liberty Signa team before booking our holiday and had spoken with Nur from their guest relations team. Nur was incredibly kind and assured me that my daughter will be well looked after and her meals will be prepared seperately to avoid any cross contamination. We went ahead and booked our holiday on the basis of this positive response from Nur. However, as a mother, I was still worried. I understand staff can be incredibly busy and I was worried incase the arrangements may not be possible for every meal. But honestly, everything has been PERFECT in every possible way. My daughter ate like a queen. 🥰 Nur personally looked after us just like she had promised. She was very welcoming, understanding, thoughtful and reassuring. She was available throughout our stay via whatsapp for anything that we may need. The process has been quite straightforward. All we had to do was inform Nur the choices for my daughter’s breakfast, lunch and dinner one day before and when we would arrive at the buffet or one of the à la carte restaurants, her meals were freshly prepared for her. Nur has been so kind and we are genuinly so happy with how everything has been handled. Nur also introduced us to chef Ozkan, the main chef at the buffet, who was also incredibly kind. He showed us around the buffet and told us if there is anything else my daughter would like besides her pre-ordered meal he can also prepare that freshly for her to avoid any cross-contamination from the buffet. It just felt so nice for my daughter to feel included throughout our stay and not feel left out. The variety and care made such a difference to our holiday. As a mother, I cannot explain how much this meant to me. Something that had initially caused me so much anxiety before our holiday became one of the most positive parts of our experience. My daughter had gluten free pancakes, chicken nuggets, freshly prepared chips, creamy pasta, pizza and so much more. Nur is an absolute credit to Liberty Signa. Her kindness, professionalism and genuine care for our family went far beyond what we expected. She didn’t just reassure us before our arrival; she followed through on every promise and made sure we felt supported throughout our stay. On our third day I had messaged Nur that I will be going to the Guest Relations Desk in regards to something and she came straight over just to see me in person. I know she must have been very busy, so I thought this was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. It really shows the kind of person she is and how much she genuinely cares about the guests she looks after. I also want to mention that every single staff member we have encountered has been so kind and eager to help. Just very positive vibes from everyone. Nothing seems to be too much for them. Izmet at the Myra buffet, Tuna at the Puri à la carte restaurant and Guner Ali at the Okeanos seafood restaurant were all wonderful and very attentive. They were all so friendly it was a pleasure to talk to them and to get to know them. I would also like to give a special mention to Aysegul from Guest Relations, who was also incredibly helpful. On one occasion I had requested a gluten free dessert at the last minute and she went out of her way to take it to the restaurant where we were having lunch so that it would be there for us. This thoughtful gesture really meant a lot. We are leaving with the most beautiful family memories and so much appreciation for everyone who made our stay so special. Liberty Signa has set such a high standard for us, and we cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done for our family.

🚌 Location It’s a good 1hr transfer from Dalaman airport but set in beautiful surroundings. Hotel is South facing for full sun during the day and beautiful sunsets over the bay. A few shops located in the Main Street, but otherwise travel required to ‘see’ anything. Some great options for tours/activities are available. Check-in was smooth and didn’t take too long. 🛌 Rooms We had a ‘Deluxe with pool access via stairs’. The room is fine for a family of 3 with a young child but not ideal for teenager. The sofa bed wasn’t made up on arrival but was sorted next day. Good amount of cupboard and drawer space. The toilet and shower are in separate compartments from the main bathroom sinks which is useful. The robes are nice and the hotel toiletries are fine. The electrical sockets are modern type so you can use UK devices without a 2 pin adaptor. We did experience several power cuts during our stay, but they were resolved within seconds/minutes. There is a security gate on the balcony preventing access without a room key, this did stop working during our stay, but we felt more secure going in and out the main room door anyway. There’s plenty of lifts around the complex so no issues experienced having to wait. 🏐 Facilities There is a kids club, but it did feel set up for young children. There is an itinerary but it didn’t appeal to our 6yr old. The mini disco is also more aimed at pre-schoolers. The Spa looked great, with Turkish bath, steam room, sauna and salt room all freely available to guests, but I’d prefer to be in the sunshine. My son did use the indoor heated pool to get away from the midday sun one day. There are optional additional treatments and experiences available if you want to pay extra. The spa staff come round the loungers daily but there is no hard sell. There is a daily activity programme on, including both water sports and fitness classes if you want to stay active, including a beach volleyball court. I did feel like there could have been more toilets located around the complex, particularly beach/poolside. 👙 Pools The pools at the rooms are largely shaded so we only used it one morning as preferred to be at the larger pool and facilities. The large pool is heated and has several lifeguards on duty. There’s music nearer the slides and it’s quieter by the 24hr restaurant. It looks very pretty, but if you’ve come to tan then you need to pick your spot carefully as very few (if any) loungers get a full day sun and most are shaded by planting. Depending on new arrivals, sun beds will be covered with towels by 8am with many remaining unused until midday. They are close together, but with plenty of parasols and refuse pots. Most have QR codes where you can order poolside drinks delivered on roller-skates. We didn’t spend much time at the splash pad/toddler pool, but the small kids slides were just enough to be exciting without being scary for our 6yr old, and are supervised by a lifeguard. There are hight restrictions on the bigger slides so check before you book if this is a deal breaker for your kids. This area wasn’t the best as a parent to sit/ relax while keeping an eye. ⛱️ Beach There are plenty of loungers beachside and cabanas for an extra cost, but we spent all our time poolside. It’s very picturesque and lots of parachutes flying past. The kids were having a ball as the waves moved the floating pier. There are some novelty photo ops at the beach and it’s popular at sunset. The beach bar could do with some heaters/blankets as it’s lovely for sundowners but chilly at this time of year. 🦐 Food The food is great. There’s a fantastic amount of choice and it’s lovely quality. Freshly pressed orange juice, handmade crepes, omelettes to order for breakfast. The Turkish and Seafood restaurants are complimentary for lunch so recommend a break from the buffet. Lots of choice to suit at evening meal, however, compared to other all inclusive hotels, I think all restaurants should be included and not only 1 per stay (2 over 14 days), especially as it’s the same menu as lunch, same staff rotated, and more or less same food available in buffet but ‘served’. It is very expensive to pay the additional cost if you want to try a 2nd/3rd… during your stay. We used our allocation at the curry house and the food was lovely. We didn’t try the Asian or Italian as neither were open at lunchtime and we didn’t feel the supplement was value for money. The kids menu is the same in every restaurant at lunchtime and dinner time. The buffet restaurant is generally chaotic unless you are there very early in the morning e.g., on early morning trip or checkout. They need more tables for couples as we were often waiting for a table of 4 when so many were used by only 2 people. The service is not as good as other hotels we’ve stayed at in Turkey and generally inconsistent, deteriorating if very busy, often having to flag a waiter to request water and drinks. This pressure would be eased if the other restaurants were available, as they were largely empty when we walked past. The buffet restaurant could also do with opening longer for lunch service as it closes early meaning the pressure is on the Turkish/Seafood restaurants which you often have to wait to be seated at lunchtime. There’s also space for more tables at both; maybe they have more seating in peak season. Everyone a big fan of the waffle house! This is the only ‘snack’ bar between pool and beach and it really feels like this hotel is missing a pool snack bar/cafe with both sweet and savoury options. It would be nice to have the option of ‘fast food’ without having to get dried & dressed for a sit down meal. This is defo a downside. 🥂 Bars/Drinks Drinks are brand names. The house Prosecco is fine. The cocktail menu is limited (e.g., no margaritas) but if they have the ingredients then they will make it at the bar. The lobby feels pretty soulless, so there could be more of a focus on improving areas for evening relaxing/socialising that isn’t a restaurant. 🎤 Entertainment The evening shows were great. Starting at 9:30 it can be late for young families, but if running on UK time then worked out well. The ‘Evolution’ dj and dance set was fantastic if not a little loud for small ears. Lots of tables as a big space, but if visiting out of peak season remember to wrap up and get your bug spray on. 🧹 Cleanliness Hotel generally very clean. Our room was missed one day, and sometimes not everything replenished (like water). Again, can’t complain as high standard but not the same finishing touches often seen in other Turkish all-inclusive. The toilets were generally kept clean and duly stocked. 💭 Overall We enjoyed our stay, but this hasn’t been our favourite hotel in Turkey and it wouldn’t be our first choice to return to.

The hotel aesthetically is beautiful and well maintained. We had a family room with private pool which the kids absolutely loved. The entertainment staff were amazing. I would like to mention Eilif and cemen who were outstanding and great assets to the hotel! The food is good but we did have a few issues. The buffet was just too chaotic for us. I would think this is due to occupants only receiving one à la carte per 7 night stay. The food options were immense and amazing but it was just too busy and felt more like a cantine to me. We ate in the Asian, Italian and Indian and to be honest we were not blown away at all. We were served raw chicken in the Asian (spoke to guest relations) and the mains in the Indian were just awful. My 7 year old ordered a korma and it was so spicy she couldn’t eat it. It all tasted the same… butter chicken was not bitter chicken. We had issues with our room in the first two nights so the engineers had to turn off our outdoor light to stop the electricity tripping. Not great! We ended up eating outside the hotel on two occasions and had amazing meals. With regards to the evening entertainment shows… wow! They were on another level, especially the evolution show which we all loved and danced until 1am! The hotel is beautiful and we did have the most amazing holiday but a couple of issues which need to be addressed hopefully others traveled year

Premium resort all inclusive hotel placed in fethiye, with it’s location, fast and cheerful service, it’s amazing kitchen and foods. Would definitely recommend for all kinds of people whether family or couples.

We have just returned from a welcome 11 day break at the Signal Hotel. First impressions were nice in the clean marbled reception area. Check in was quick and we were pleased that we were upgraded to swim up room. The rooms are some of the best we have been in but we're let down by some simple fixes. The rugs on the floor were a tripping hazard and we both tripped several times. The tea and coffee machine supplied was great but there were no milk sachets to use or stirrers etc. Maybe a minor issue. The frustrating thing for us was although many British stay at the hotel the TV was mainly for russian or Turkish guests with just one channel in English that we could find BBC world news yet it must be very easy to add some other channels in English. That said you are not in the room much ...unless weather is bad. The Adult pool was heated and the bar staff there were friendly. Quality cocktails were served and the sunbeds are amongst the best we have used with plenty towels available plus thick waterproof mattresses to lay on. The main buffet Restaurant was good , but was very busy and some coffee machines were not working. Also only one small toaster for such a large amount of people. The food was very good with live cooking and plenty of choices. The restaurant was very busy on our stay and seemed like some people struggled to get tables especially just for couples. We were lucky that we had free access to the a la carte restaurants but many had to pay which was bizarre as the prices were greater than you would pay in the UK and this is all inclusive so should be cheaper. The Turkish and Indian were good but the others like Italian and Fish were for us not that great. The entertainment was superb at night with excellent and some specialist beers and cocktails given at arrival. We used the Adult pool in the day so cannot comment on the daytime entertainment. One thing that this hotel could do with is a general good snack bar during the day with fast food as you either had to go to a formal restaurant to get lunch. There are waffles during the day and icecream. This hotel is a 5 star and is good. We have been spoilt in the past at other 5 star hotels of similar price range in Lara Beach, Side and Belek which were amazing. We believe if they improve areas addressed this hotel would be excellent. Having said that hotel is spotless, staff very friendly, plus rooms are some of the best we have stayed in for room and comfort. We look forward to seeing the forecast change at the hotel and more importantly at what cost.
