I have just returned from a visit to the Liberty Signa. The overall experience of the holiday was a good one, however there were a few niggles that took my score from a 5 to a 4 star. On arrival at the hotel you are welcomed into a large bright reception area where you need to complete the registration form and await a porter to take you to your room. Unlike previous visits to hotels in Turkey we were not offered a welcome drink, there were orange juice and Prosecco on display however we were not encouraged to take any. The porter arrived within 5 minutes to take us to our room which was on a high floor and quiet which is what we requested. The only issues were that there was a cot in the room and one of the electric socket was hanging off. Both of these issues were sorted very promptly. There were approximately 12 hangers in the wardrobe which for 2 adults spending 2 weeks was not enough, again we spoke to reception and the issue was corrected. Finally on the room there was no plugs for the sinks which again we had to report to reception. The adults only areas at the hotel were in general good. the adults only pool was of a good standard, my issue was that the bar service at the sun beds was pretty non existent in our experience. Someone would come around once a day with water and iced coffees if you were lucky apart from that we had to go to the bar to order drinks. my issue with that was that the stools were taken by other guests who would stay at the bar to make conversation and smoke. I appreciate that in Turkey there are different laws concerning smoking however I do not wish to inhale second hand smoke whilst waiting for a drink. Another issue with the adult only pool bar was the loudness of the poolside entertainment which if you have a family it must be marvellous however for couple on holiday it was too loud for our liking. For our second week we decided to go to the adults only beach bar where the bar service was so much better. the service to the sun beds was still sporadic however there was some. The issue was that there was not many sun beds onto the beach and the ones that there were there were taken before eight o’clock. the hotel rules on the reserving of sun beds were not adhered to here. We also used the adults only beach bar in the evening where the bar service was excellent. My wife and I especially enjoyed the Bohemian party night which was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable and wished it was on more frequently during our two week stay. The standard of the evening entertainment was of a very high standard, probably the best we have experienced in a hotel environment. The standard of the food across the hotel did vary. We had booked our stay before the hotel changed its policy on a la carte restaurants and we had 8 visits for a two week stay however that has now been reduced to 2 visits. The only way to visit more is to pay an additional fee this can vary from 30 Euros each to 75 Euros each in the grill restaurant. Which on top of the cost of the holiday was a bit much, in our opinion. The main buffet restaurant was very much a matter of timing, if you went during busy times it was not of the best standard however if you visited at quieter times it was good, we found breakfast and lunch the better services. We found the Italian and the Indian the best a la carte restaurants, however as it was August/ September and we were eating outside (the Italian) the issue of people smoking raised its head again. We did not eat in the oriental or Grill restaurants as they were payable, however the main reason we did not visit as they always looked quiet. The bars were good especially the Irish bar that served a good selection of beers. Again there was not an evening lounge bar for adults only to use. The vast majority of the staff were professional and friendly and made our visit a very good one. The Liberty Signa is a very good hotel that is more centred around families in my opinion.
In early September, my husband and I were delighted by the hotel's architecture, interior, service, and the dining and entertainment options offered at the property. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we were surprised by the well-wishes, the festive decorations, and the serving of champagne and a heart-shaped dessert specially prepared for us. The entire team works for the benefit of the guests with great dedication, a personal touch, and attentiveness. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! I highly recommend this superb hotel.
My first time staying at Liberty Signa and it not Dissapoint. My little girl had a brilliant time. She enjoyed the kids disco every night and doing some activities in the kids club she loved going there. We spent most of our time at the kids splash pool which was a great hit with my girl. The food was oustanding. We tried the italian , Indian and the turkish resturants. The indian one was our favourite. The Myra restaurant had plenty of choice. Guest relations always was helpful. Special mention to Kubilay he really went above and beyond for us and he is a credit to Liberty Signa Would highly recommend this hotel.
My husband has already written a full review. I would just like to add that generally the staff were very good however we did have a disappointing breakfast experience at Petra where we ordered drink and food at the same time, and even after our food arrived and we reminded waiting staff on 3 separate occasions that our drinks hadn’t arrived they still did not turn up. We waited beyond finishing our food and gave up and left to go to Timeless (restaurant) where the drinks arrived in minutes! It seemed as if no one were ‘leading’ staff at Petra on the breakfast visit. We then went to the buffet restaurant and were served by Tahsin Efe who seemed to effortlessly ‘read the room’ and be able to manage professionalism with charisma. I truly think management have missed a trick by not putting him front of house in Petra! The second thing I would like to say is that generally the customer services staff who randomly ask for feedback ironically are not willing to receive it! They lead the conversation with specific questions and when we have offered constructive criticism they generally have a way of minimising or moving on. We happened to be in the Turkish restaurant one evening and we shared that it would be helpful to have more explanation on the menu what the dishes entail especially not knowing Turkish cuisine. She responded by saying that we could order more food. That was not the point we were making, we just wanted to have more information to inform our choice, and I’m sure there are many more guests in a similar position.
We spent 9 nights at the resort as a family of three and overall, we had a fantastic holiday. There was so much to enjoy that even after nine nights, we still felt there was more we could have experienced. Our room was spacious and more than comfortable enough for the three of us. I had initially been a little worried about the sofa bed, but there was absolutely no need to be it was large and comfortable enough for me to sleep on throughout our stay. It was perhaps slightly firm, but certainly not an issue. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was beautifully cleaned every day, towels were refreshed, the minibar was replenished daily, and there were lots of thoughtful little touches that made the room feel very well cared for. The food was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. We had the chance to experience the fish restaurant, Miyabi, Italian, Turkish, Petra, Timeless, Bon Bon and the overall quality was exceptional. The fish restaurant was particularly memorable. The variety of fresh seafood was fantastic, and the sea bass, prawns and ceviche were all outstanding. Miyabi deserves a special mention. It was genuinely one of the best Japanese restaurants we have ever visited. Everything was exceptional, and it was definitely one of the meals we will remember from the holiday. Bon Bon was another lovely spot. The ice creams and coffees were delicious and made it a perfect place for a daytime break. We personally hardly used the buffet for lunch because we loved having the option of enjoying à la carte restaurants every day. The entertainment was excellent, with plenty of variety and something for both adults and children. The Kids’ Club team deserve a huge thank you. They were absolutely brilliant with our son. He enjoyed it so much that he actually cried when it was time to leave which probably says more than we ever could! The team were kind, attentive and clearly genuinely cared about the children. There were plenty of activities throughout the day for all ages, and Kids Fly Yoga was fantastic. The yoga team deserve a particular mention as well. Our favourite shows were the Latin dancing and Prestige, although honestly, everything we watched during our nine nights was very good. If I had one small suggestion, it would be regarding the music around the pool during daytime activities. On one particular morning, the music was extremely loud and made it difficult for guests who simply wanted to relax by the pool. Having some kind of volume guideline or limit in this area could allow everyone to enjoy the activities while still maintaining a relaxing atmosphere. This happened only once during our stay and certainly did not affect our overall enjoyment. The two-storey spa was incredible and, for us, one of the real highlights of the resort. There is such an impressive range of facilities, different saunas, a salt room, steam room and Turkish baths, rain and mist showers, a large indoor pool. There is also a gym and juice bar, meaning you could easily spend several hours there. Overall, our nights were filled with great food, beautiful facilities, fantastic entertainment and, most importantly, plenty of memorable family moments. The resort offers a great balance between family-friendly activities and spaces where adults can genuinely relax, which made it a very enjoyable holiday for all three of us.
