My experience at this hotel was fabulous the amount of games, shows they have here is great! the place is great for families and for children to enjoy. The water polo sessions are great. As first time being in turkey the weather is great. I hopefully look forward to coming back here. For the entertainment team I would like to thank Emir.

So I will start by saying my son got sick so the holiday was pretty much ruined from 2 days in, but those first 2 days really weren't up to standard either. Issues started from check in. We got in really late and from the start the receptionist was incredibly pushy about upgrading our room for an astronomical price. We had booked a deluxe room with stair access to pool. When we said no, he got visibly annoyed and basically threw our "substandard" room key at us, telling us we would enjoy our stay better if we had a better room. When we got to the room, it had clearly been made up for 3 people. It was 1 o clock in the morning so trying to get an extra pillow and duvet for my 2nd child wasn't that easy. I'd even messaged before we arrived saying there would be 4 people in the room as I'd seen other reviews stating this was a problem, but that didn't seem to register at all. The issue with the room being for 3 carried on throughout our stay. We regularly only got 3 towels, or 3 small bottles of water and constantly had to ask for more towels which was just a pain. The sofa bed is awful. It is hard, bumpy and not suitable for a bedroom that apparently sleeps 4 in a "5 star" resort. I requested a z-bed as others had suggested but none were available. The Waterpark could be great but the lifeguards do not care and I saw multiple children being hurt because people were hurtling themselves down slides without waiting for them to be clear, and the lifeguards weren't checking. The pools were fine. Nothing particularly exciting or special. However the noise from the DJ around the main pool, was pretty intrusive. Do not go there if you want to relax! The swim up pools were much much better. And now for the cleanliness. Even though people are constantly cleaning, it just isn't clean. There were used nappies everywhere, the toilets were always filthy especially around the pool and there are used glasses and rubbish on all the tables throughout the day (especially around the main pool). This obviously attracts ants and big. The buffet is awful. Whilst the buffet food looks good and is actually of a pretty high standard for an all inclusive, there were very very little hygiene measures in place. Not enough spoons or tongs to get food so people were just using their hands. I actually witnessed one child trying something and spitting it on the floor. Whilst I realise this is not the hotels fault, it just added to the unpleasant experience. The spitting wasn't just at dinner, we had another child spit directly at my daughter. I did speak to the father about it, but his response was to slap the child around the face with such force it pushed them over. This was witnessed by my child who was absolutely beside themselves. Again, not the hotel but just a example of the clientele. I did go to the Turkish restaurant with my daughter. Unfortunately for whatever reason our booking hadn't transferred through to the restaurant so we had to wait while this was sorted. They did get us a table, but by that time my husband and son had decided they wanted to go back to the room, because the cigarette smoke was unbearable. The 2 tables next to us had constant cigarettes and cigars being smoked and ruined the whole meal. We couldn't get out of there quick enough. Now for the sickness. I have no doubts this came from the hotel food. Luke warm food with the hygiene levels in the buffet is a breeding ground for germs. I met several other families who were also sick whilst we were there. Again, I know this is a part of going to an all inclusive and travelling, but I do think extra measures should be taken. We visited the resort doctor, who was appalling and dangerous. I was told that they are a 3rd party and not the hotels responsibility, but if you have them on site and are arranging appointments, I think you need to take some responsibility. Gave my 10 year old child an adult dose of paracetamol which resulted in him having to have his paracetamol and liver levels checked as well as an ultrasound at a hospital in Fetiye. They also stuck the glass bottle of IV paracetamol to the wall with tape. When it had finished this fell off and smashed on the floor and hit my 8 year old child's leg. When I pointed this out, it was just kicked to the side and no one cleaned up any of the smashed glass. They also attempted to give my son medication for another patient and I had to intervene. It was truly horrific and I have fed back to the hotel and expect something to be done about it as I dread to think what could happen to another child or adult if they had no understanding of medicine and weren't checking what was happening. Throughout the whole stay guest relations were amazing though and I couldn't fault them. They did genuinely seem to care, and did go out of their way to help us when we were stuck in the room for 5 days. They provided room service (from timeless) free of charge and did keep checking we were OK. And the guest relations manager was great, although they did say they would ring me back once they had investigated to the doctor, and I never received a call back, but I can forgive that! Basically this holiday has not been great. Some of it circumstance, some of it directly related to the hotel, but I do believe if we had been in a different hotel our experience, especially with hygiene, would have been entirely different.

Very disappointing — definitely not a 5-star experience I would not recommend Liberty Signa to anyone. Having stayed at five different 5-star resorts across Turkey, I can honestly say that every one of them was leagues above Liberty Signa. We were actually sceptical after reading some of the reviews before travelling, but decided to give the resort a chance. Unfortunately, our concerns turned out to be justified. We have previously stayed at Liberty Fabay and genuinely wish we had booked there again. The difference in service, food, cleanliness and entertainment is enormous. In my opinion, Liberty Signa simply does not provide the standard I would expect from a 5-star resort. The attitude at the front desk and the check in process was particularly disappointing, and there seemed to be very little visible management presence. Some members of staff were excellent, but overall the service was inconsistent and often fell well below expectations. Staff members being on their phones while working was also extremely common, and this even included lifeguards. We booked a cabana with “Butler Service”, expecting the service that was advertised and paid for. Instead, we repeatedly had to ask for things that should have been provided without having to chase them. When we raised this with the staff, there was no genuine apology or attempt to take responsibility — unfortunately, the response was often accompanied by a poor attitude. The lack of attention to pool and water-slide safety was especially concerning. My son was kicked in the back by another child coming down the water slide directly behind him because the lifeguard was not properly supervising the slide. I personally witnessed similar incidents involving other children during our stay. Seeing lifeguards distracted or on their phones was extremely worrying. Alcohol and snacks in the swimming pool are also common and not discouraged or monitored. Cleanliness was another major issue. The state of the 24-hour restaurant was particularly poor. We were told that it closes twice a day for cleaning, yet somehow we regularly struggled to find a clean table or chair. More concerning was the lack of supervision around the buffet. There appeared to be virtually no monitoring of hygiene, including children tasting food and putting it back into the serving dishes. For a resort of this size and supposed standard, I found this completely unacceptable. The entertainment was also very disappointing, particularly for families. A lot of the entertainment appeared to be aimed more towards adults, with very little that genuinely appealed to or entertained children and families. Given that this is marketed as a family-friendly 5-star resort, we expected considerably more. There is no segregation for smokers unlike at Liberty Fabay so families with small children having cigarette smoke blown directly at them often caused confrontation. We also experienced this at the à la carte restaurants. Before travelling, we communicated with the resort for many months regarding various requests and arrangements. Unfortunately, when we arrived, none of these appeared to have been properly noted or passed on. This was incredibly frustrating after having made the effort to communicate everything in advance. I will say that Guest Relations deserve credit. They genuinely seemed to care and did their best to resolve some of the problems we experienced. In fact, they were probably the only department that made a real effort to try to turn our experience around. Of the restaurants, the Italian à la carte was the only one we felt was genuinely worth booking. Overall, this was supposed to be our summer holiday and, unfortunately, it became a very disappointing experience. We paid a significant amount of money and expected a genuine 5-star experience. Having stayed at other Liberty and 5-star resorts in Turkey, we know exactly what that standard can look like — and Liberty Signa simply did not meet it. My honest suggestion to the resort would be to market itself as a 4-star property and focus on improving service, cleanliness, management, safety and family entertainment. Expectations would then be more realistic and guests may leave feeling much less disappointed. Sadly, we left feeling that our summer holiday & special anniversary had been ruined. 100% not recommended

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at Liberty Signa. Beautiful hotel, excellent service and a fantastic Kids Club with a caring and energetic team — our child absolutely loved it! A special thank you to Sandia, Begum and the entire Sports & Wellness team for the great classes, positive energy and amazing work throughout our stay. A perfect family holiday and definitely a place we would love to return to!
