Dirty , unhelpful staff and poor food . This is quite possibly one of the worst places I have stayed . The RESORT is a large complex and not a single hotel- as advertised and described it is remote, very hilly and not for those with poor mobility and no public transport links. (I’ve read comments about walking down the hill to catch the bus - it’s a very long hill with no pavements and lunatic drivers - plus the buses didn’t stop for the 3 brave souls that did make the walk down, only to have to walk back up) The rooms were only cleaned three times in two weeks despite us asking for more it never happened. The TV didn’t work for the entire two weeks and reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful Each day was a battle for the parasols as most are broken - sun beds are plentiful at the pool Areas . Food is beige , bland and boring . (Repetitive The pools have algae and broken glass in the corners where it’s not cleaned and the water has an unusual and unpleasant smell similar to drains … This is a cheaper hotel compared to most so you get what you pay for - despite knowing this the standards are poor , staff will take bribes and not stick to reception bookings for golf cart collection and drop off - we paid £40 for a late check out and golf buggy but the buggy never came instead watched a man stop the buggy pay him and ride off into the sunset !!!! As you can imagine the kids were not impressed with having to drag cases some distance to the reception .. If you want a nice holiday - the Kusadasi area is lovely but steer clear of this hotel !!!!!

I thought carefully before leaving a negative review because the resort does have some strong points. The food is genuinely very good, the grounds are huge, and there are plenty of pools and activities. If being close to the beach is not important to you, there is plenty to do here. Unfortunately, the most basic part of any holiday is being able to rest and sleep comfortably, and this is where the serious problems begin. The property presents itself as a 5-star apartment resort, yet the mattresses in our apartment are old and so worn out that you can feel every spring. They feel more like prison beds than beds in a 5-star resort. We reported the problem to reception. One member of staff genuinely tried to help and offered us a mattress topper, which unfortunately made very little difference. However, another woman who appeared to be in a more senior or management position simply told us that “this is the standard” and there was nothing they could do about it. That response ultimately determined my rating. Unfortunately, there are more problems. There are visible signs of damp and areas that appear to be mould, seemingly painted over or covered with silicone. There is also an occasional sewage smell from the bathroom, the finishing is badly worn, and several areas simply do not appear to be properly cleaned. The photos attached to this review show the condition of the apartment better than words can. Today, the sewage smell around the outdoor bar became so strong – literally like a septic tank being emptied – that people started leaving their tables. The tiny, outdated TV almost becomes a minor detail compared with everything else, but it also shows how badly these apartments need modernisation. The good restaurant, large grounds and pools are definite positives, but they cannot compensate for missing basics: a comfortable bed, proper cleanliness and an environment free from sewage odours. If, as we were told, “this is the standard,” then it is certainly not the standard of a 5-star resort.

Well after reading some reviews we nearly changed our minds, however I’m glad we didn’t. I’m not going to say things were perfect as this wouldn’t be correct I will be very fair though and don’t let it put you off as like any holiday what some people love others won’t. Start with the plus side Rooms, very spacious, cleaned every couple of days which is more than ample (for us) Pools a plenty with ample sunbeds and drinks easily available Views from the rooms and reception area are amazing, Türkiye is beautiful. Shuttle available for the beach this needs booking at guest relations in the main reception so make sure you do this otherwise you won’t be going there unless you pay a taxi as it’s approx 10 kms. Usually they will take you for 3 hours which I feel is enough! Main pool area has great vibrant atmosphere for families and singles alike with loud music and slides in same area Kids entertainment is first rate and adult entertainment is also good fun the team really try hard! It isn’t the west end but great fun if you can just go with the spirit of a holiday that doesn’t cost £15K and your not going to get caviar passed to you whilst sipping the finest champagne All entertainment at night is in an outdoor arena which is great. Kusadasi town centre is for be fantastic and whilst in Türkiye to embrace the culture is fantastic, the shops, food, hustling, haggling and call for prayer make you feel like your in Türkiye, if you don’t fancy that I suggest pontins at camber sands. Or maybe butlins at minehead listening to Rick Astley and watching people on hen weekends being carried back to 5 star chalets! Special mention for Ozzie at the Oaks bar. He was constantly smiling, attentive, welcoming and our kids loved him. We’re not drinkers but we got our Fanta, Coke Zero etc quickly and he was there first thing in the morning asking us if we needed drinks as we got on sun beds! Too man and the hotel have a star there also Mario who for me wasn’t pushy, was massively helpful and always had a smile on his face! Now I did say there are negatives I won’t make them specific to me as like I said it’s all amout personal taste It is very hilly at the resort. Steep in places so if you have mobility issues bare this in mind and maybe request a easier area closer to reception There is no pork products Türkiye is Islamic so remember this meat will be either beef or poultry Coach to Izmir airport for transfer is 90 minutes so if you have travel sick children bring anti sickness as there are windy roads up to the resort. Prices in shop on site for essentials are very inflated but if you dare to do to Kusadasi town centre there is local shops cheaper and also McDonald’s for children who we know don’t also have embrace food changes so well Boat trip to bays was 8 hours, smoking on boat was plentiful and hard seats so if you don’t smoke like me don’t bother go and do jeep day or visit other places For info Kusadasi is 20 minutes in a taxi, if you contact a clothing shop they will arrange transfer from hotel to there and back for free saving about £60 euro Or indulge and go to Hong Kong (with Mario) you will see him at the pool who will arrange. If you do this you will get lift there and back also! We will be going back next year for sure thanks to all for a very relaxing and beautiful holiday Remember it’s all about personal tastes! Some people wouldn’t be happy even if they stopped in paradise, some people are more realistic, embrace culture change and enjoy a holiday based on cost, value for money and things you can do!
