Unique Residence Hotel Golf and Spa

Rooms- Outdated, nothing like the photos, Grimy and dissapointing. Cleaned TWICE out of seven days. (Which apparently they only get cleaned once every three days after reading comments? Absolutely disgusting) Towel rail not screwed onto the wall properly in bathroom, nearly broke my neck after leaning on it. Our bed was rock solid, could feel nothing but hard strings. They put a small mattress topper on it… But the worst most annoying thing? We payed €40 euro for a late checkout (3:30pm) and was hassled by a cleaner walking into the room TWICE telling us to leave. I was in the middle of changing. I wish they were that eager to clean the rooms whilst we were actually staying there!!! Once we left, she was waiting outside the door and began talking to herself evidently about us, waving her hands about very rudely. Pool- My partner went on a walk to find all the pools advertised on the photos….and couldn’t find half of them? Asked reception where the other pools were with the swim up bar and bridge to be told they’re not here? The pool games are bombarded by Turkish residents of the hotel who demand “Turkish only” teams, becoming extremely competitive and rowdy towards the actual holiday makers. Even read a review saying there was a fight after waterpolo last year where police had to be called!!! Evening Food & Entertainment- Simply not good. Food was shocking, my partner felt ill after eating meat on the 3rd day, i stuck to chips and rice…very disappointing. As for the entertainment…a 4/5 star hotel, you expect quizzes, bingo, singers….rhere literally isn’t anything. An irish bar that dosent sell Guinness, or play english football when asked. Only Turkish. Would never return.

Awful….Avoid The worst all inclusive I have stayed at. Rooms Out of date and need updating We have a sink, washing machine, fridge, cooker and microwave but no cutlery, cups, plates etc Rooms not cleaned. The floors haven’t been cleaned and nor has our balcony. They never leave enough towels always having to ask for more. After 7 days bedding hasn’t been changed. Food Awful it’s the same rubbish churned out for breakfast lunch and dinner and it’s always cold!! At breakfast I expected an omelette station for made to order omelettes and a juice bar for fresh smoothies. Instead basic fruit is out everyday, over cooked boiled eggs, oily omelette pieces, same stale bread and cereal. Lunch the snack bar serves pizzas and burgers from Farm Foods and dinner is gross. The meat is over cooked stew, salmon steaks full of bones poached in oil and stuffed peppers done 5 ways. The same food is served every night. The drinks are of poor quality and taste cheap. The Al carte restaurant is fully booked, on Thursday morning I went to book it but was told next booking is on Wednesday. You have to book the beach 1 day in advance and you have to queue at the front desk from 11am. You only get 2.5hrs at the beach. The beach was a major disappointment. The beach club was a joke. The food provided was basic chips, pizza and burgers buffet style, again cold and bland. The beach area is small and dirty, with many cig butts, food and rubbish. Staff mostly miserable Water slides aren’t on until 2pm Pool area is dirty and not clean proper Kids club smells rotten Kids disco ok but the same songs played in the same order every night

PLEASE do not waste your time and money. Honestly, this has been one of the worst holidays we’ve ever had. The food is awful. It appears to be reused from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, and it’s regularly cold. I haven’t spoken to or met anyone here who has had anything positive to say about the food. The pools advertise having “snack bars”, but they simply don’t exist as advertised. The drinks are another massive disappointment. They seem to use vodka for absolutely everything — rum? Vodka. Whisky? Vodka. It’s honestly ridiculous. We also tried the Hong Kong restaurant that they advertise. For two adults and two children, we paid around £200 for two adult mains, two kids’ meals and four drinks. Considering the overall standard, it was absolutely not worth the money. You also apparently have to pay extra for an upgrade if you want a room that is properly clean, which I find completely unacceptable. The resort may look cheap when you book it, but that’s because what they advertise sounds far better than what you actually get. In my opinion, it is simply too good to be true. And whatever you do, DON’T forget to bring your own inflatables. I’m genuinely not joking when I say they wanted €95 for one rubber ring for a child. I actually double-checked with the staff because I was convinced there had been a mistake — there hadn’t. Also the spa is a rip off, said one hour and was in there for 30minutes. €50 each. Where as I found one outside the hotel and for all four of us, was €66 including transfer. The whole experience has been so disappointing that I’m already looking at booking another holiday while we’re still here. Save yourself the money and the disappointment. There are much better options out there.

I once again visited Unique Residence for a five day stay to get some end of summer sun! I was checked in by yet another lovely receptionist. I requested a room in Pines or Olives, but got Eagle which turned out to be a quiet block. I was put in Eagle 38, which, having stayed at this resort continuously back when it was both a Wyndham/IDILIQ and CLC resort, I knew was an ex privately owned unit (as are most in this block!) You could also tell this by the completely different furniture. The room was bright and the furniture was nice. The living area consisted of a comfy adjustable sofa bed, coffee table, TV and armchair. The bedroom was comfortable and featured a big wardrobe space with a mirror attached - you don’t get this in their normal rooms so this was a plus! It also had two stylish lamps on each bedside table which was nice. The bathroom has been changed to shower only which is much better. Another perk of this room being ex-private is the extra cabinet space so you could put towels and toiletries away. The kitchen area was great with some newer appliances installed by the previous owner - take note Unique for the rest of your rooms. The balcony was a good size and at the end there was a utility room with a washing machine, iron & board and a long dustpan and brush. While the room was cosmetically great, unfortunately the real issues with this resort are sadly unresolved - the housekeeping and maintenance standards. The living area / kitchen floor wasn’t properly hoovered as some crumbs were noticed and some surfaces needed a wipe. The bathroom was spotless. Unfortunately the balcony floor and the outside table were quite dusty - perhaps this room was cleaned some time before another guest (myself in this case) checked in. I had to wipe down the chairs outside as well. The living area air conditioning is also making a loud buzzing noise (as is the unit outside). This, and an issue with the balcony door was reported, however only the balcony door was fixed. I did have a loose shower head holder later on, however a quick chat with Emily (who is absolutely lovely and a credit to the resort) and this was sorted very soon after! In the wider resort the real focus points need to be the main pool area. I would get down at 8:30/9am and there would on some days be rubbish on the floor from the previous day. Some of the sun loungers need a good wash too, some had bird droppings on them and some just had other stains. In addition to this, the pool toilets are in desperate need of a deep clean. The floor has grime in some of them which tells me that they do not get mopped frequently. The general housekeeping I do find quite poor, and this was also the case in 2025, but not so back in May where it was very good! Unique management really need to improve housekeeping standards and maintenance standards - the ceiling underneath The Pines bar still has a giant hole in it almost 5 months on. I am very appreciative however that the resort does need time to finish the seasons, and that this is only their second, and then make improvements over the winter once budgets allow. My strong advice would be on the rooms and pool areas next. A remarkable improvement has been the food, it isn’t all lukewarm anymore! I was pleasantly surprised and noticed more variety too on this visit. The restaurant staff are lovely and a big well done to the kitchen teams who do a great job working away in the back. The upstairs food court is equally good. I also found the entertainment team a bit more entertaining this time round which was good! Overall I did have a lovely stay. I’ve been visiting since 2016 and while it may not be to the higher standards I fondly remember, I do see improvements and hope that Unique focus on and improve some of the basics - housekeeping and maintenance. I hope to see some positive changes next year!

Had a lovely stay. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean! we’ve never had any problems with reception or our rooms at all. The entertainment team were fabulous especially Atakan and Borat. They was so lovely and kept us up and involved with all the games! Overall we had a lovely time!
