Swandor Hotels & Resorts Kemer

Dovolenou jsem si velice užila. Hotel odpovídá 5*. Každý den je co dělat(od zumby až po šipky) a není možné zažít nudu. Lidé, kteří pracují v tomhle hotelu jsou velmi ochotní a milí. Velice ráda se sem v budoucnu opět vrátím a věřím, že každý si zde najde to své!

We had a fantastic stay at Swandor Hotel & Resort in Kemer and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent, right on the beach, with shops, pharmacies and a few bars just a short walk up the road if you want to explore a little. The hotel itself is stunning, very clean, and the staff are incredibly attentive. It’s also very multicultural, with staff from all over the world, which adds to the experience. Our room was perfect. We stayed in a duplex which had bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs, super convenient when getting ready. The beds were very comfortable, the minibar was always well stocked, and the balcony was a lovely place to relax. Housekeeping was done daily and everything was finished to a high standard. The pools and slides were a real highlight. One of the pools being heated made a huge difference in April, our kids were in and out constantly without getting cold. The slides are modern and great fun, especially as you can go down in groups. There were always plenty of lifeguards around, which gave extra peace of mind. We also never struggled to find seating around the pool areas. The resort itself isn’t massive, but that actually suited us perfectly. There are plenty of places to relax, grab snacks, ice cream, or drinks throughout the day. Visiting in April meant it was more laid-back, which we really enjoyed. The main buffet restaurant was superb, very modern and one of the best we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive. The focus is definitely on quality over quantity. There was always something we enjoyed, although after a week the options can start to feel a little repetitive. Drinks were excellent, with good quality branded beer, wine and spirits. The cocktails were also great and all included. A nice touch was that drinks were served in proper glasses rather than plastic cups, which made a difference, although it was a bit unusual being allowed to take them around the pool. Other small touches like free WiFi worked perfectly, and the overall cleanliness and friendliness of the staff really stood out. We also visited one of the à la carte restaurants, which was a great experience and a nice way to try a variety of Turkish dishes. Overall, there’s very little to fault. Like any holiday, there are always small niggles, but they were minimal. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended - especially slightly out of season when the heated pool really makes a difference!

We are coming to the end of our week here. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, modern and newly renovated. We had contacted the hotel before we came to request a room location but this wasn't granted, which wasn't a big deal but the hotel was only a small fraction full, the TV in the room also had someone else's name welcoming them, not sure what happened there. The food was a huge disappointment for us. It was pretty much the same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole week, barr a few dishes on rotation. The quality of food is subpar at best and really lets the place down. I'm not fussy by any means and found myself struggling to find something for both lunch and dinner some days. It is definitely not catered UK guests. Some families we spoke to through the week also commented on how bad the food was. The Nerissa snack bar was only opened today for the first time, but again this was really lacking in choice, we wouldn't bother with it again. The patisserie is a lovely area with mostly the same desserts as the main restaurant, but has ice cream and milkshakes. The cakes and desserts look beautiful but they really lack any flavour. If you are from the UK and like a tea, bring your own tea bags. There was nothing that resembles English breakfast tea or earl grey. The entertainment was awful. We had watched videos before we came and looked impressive, but we experienced none of that. Granted its early in the season, but there wasn't much happening except live music some nights indoors. The room where the pool tables were, the bar was only opened 1 night, so had to walk to the other side of the hotel to get a drink. Previous hotels we have been to in Turkey in April have had foam parties, themed parties, etc. But there was nothing here, only during the day did they have water polo or darts, very lacking. The beach was also a let down. The pier was a hollow shell, it must be getting work done on it. There was a digger in the sand also, no idea what it was doing, but the whole beach was an eye sore, we didn't bother spending any time down there. The housekeeping was fabulous, rooms cleaned to a high standard and mini bar replenished everyday if there was anything used. Most of the staff around the hotel are very pleasant, but there is a lot of staff who do not speak English and there is a barrier evident. We went into Kemer town a few times. If you walk to the right out of the hotel to the end of the street the dolmus stops here and takes you directly there. There's also taxis here too, the dolmus is only 60TL pp each way. We went to the market but I really wouldn't recommend it, the stuff was cheap tat. There is a few better quality shops at the Centrium in the town. Kemer itself looked a bit run down and there was a lot of construction going on at the moonlight beach area. The shops in the hotel are a rip off, stay clear. The shops across the street aren't much better but still a bit cheaper. If you have kids and will use inflatables, bring them from home. Shops across the street were charging 20/30€ for most inflatables. To round up, this is our first time to Kemer and we weren't impressed. The hotel is stunning, but thats where it ends for us. We definitely wouldn't come back to the hotel or the area, there is much better hotels in more beautiful areas of Turkey.
