This hotel was fantastic for my children they loved it, my youngest cried out whole last day about leaving. It is a complete must with children, from the character rooms to the character meets in the lobby to SpongeBob dancing at lunch, it is fully catered to make your children’s holiday a once in a lifetime. The free sweeties for the children was a fab choice and the restaurant was huge with lots of choice. Sitting outside on the balcony at the restaurant was beautiful you could either sit facing the park or the pool. My oldest has a milk allergy and they would make him separate meals to accommodate and ensure he wasn’t left out. We had to attend the doctor within the hotel as my youngest had an ear infection and they were brilliant he was seen extremely quickly and provided with a prescription. The prices inside the land of legends were very high for merchandise and food / drink so staying on site was a life saver as we would have spent a fortune if not.

We recently stayed at the Land of Legends Kingdom Hotel and, while there were some great aspects for children, overall it fell short of expectations for a family holiday. Hotel The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully themed. The attention to detail is amazing, and for children it really feels magical. However, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms was a major issue. The temperature is controlled centrally by the hotel, and we found the room far too warm throughout our stay. Food Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment. The hotel only offers a buffet restaurant and, twice during our stay, we became ill after eating at the hotel buffet and, as a result, chose to eat elsewhere for the remainder of our holiday. For a family-focused hotel, it would benefit greatly from having a few à la carte restaurant options. The Full Board Plus concept is also poorly thought out. Despite being located inside a theme park, snacks and many drinks are not included, and prices within the park are extremely expensive. Having to leave the park during the day to return to the hotel buffet for meals was inconvenient and took away from the experience. There is not even a small shop within the hotel to buy basic essentials. Kids Club The kids club was another disappointment. It was quite small and seemed to be aimed more at younger children. Our children, aged 7 and 8, quickly lost interest and felt they were too old for most of the activities on offer. Staff Most of the staff we encountered were not particularly friendly or helpful. Requests for drinks or assistance often felt like an inconvenience to them, which was disappointing for a resort of this standard. Rooms The rooms are beautifully themed and were a dream come true for our children. Housekeeping was generally good, although the minibar and room supplies were not consistently replenished. Pool Area The hotel pool is nice and gets plenty of sunshine throughout the day, making it enjoyable for children. However, it is quite small, and there are not enough sun loungers. We struggled to find loungers during our entire stay and often had to settle for seats instead. Rixos Premium Belek We visited Rixos Premium Belek on several day trips and found it to be far superior in terms of food quality, service, and pool facilities. If possible, I would recommend spending more time there. Land of Legends Theme Park The theme park itself was disappointing in some areas, with around half of the rides closed during our visit. I’m not sure whether this was due to visiting in May or if it is a regular occurrence. Many of the rides that were open also seemed to experience frequent breakdowns. On a positive note, the water park is excellent, with plenty of seating and attractions for all ages. However, food and drink prices throughout the park are extremely expensive. Value for Money Considering the price of this hotel, I expected far more to be included. Between the limited dining options, lack of snacks and drinks within the park, small pool area, underwhelming kids club, and additional costs throughout the resort, it simply did not offer the value for money we expected from a premium family holiday destination. Overall While the hotel has huge potential and offers an amazing themed experience for children, there are too many shortcomings to justify a return visit. Better food options, improved staff service, more inclusive dining within the park, and better hotel facilities would make a significant difference. In future, I would choose to stay elsewhere and simply visit Land of Legends for one or two days rather than base an entire family holiday around it.
