Very good hotel staff very friendly rooms very clean the SpongeBob suite absolutely massive food is very nice and so much to do for kids

We’ve just returned from a 10-night stay at the Nickelodeon Hotel at Land of Legends, and here’s our honest experience. 🌟 First Impressions From the moment we arrived, the hotel delivered a huge wow factor. A giant SpongeBob greeted us outside, and stepping into the lobby felt like entering a Nickelodeon dream. As adults, we were impressed, but our toddler was absolutely amazed by the enormous Ninja Turtles and colourful surroundings. One of her favourite discoveries was the complimentary pick ‘n’ mix station, which is regularly topped up throughout the day. 🍍 Themed Rooms Check-in takes place beneath a huge golden pineapple, and we were then shown to our Paw Patrol-themed room. Needless to say, our little one was beyond excited! 🏊 Facilities The hotel has a spa, a small pool area, and a SpongeBob-themed splash zone with slides for younger children. However, sunbed availability was limited. There is an additional sun terrace upstairs, but access is only via stairs, making it unsuitable for pushchairs and difficult for wheelchair users. 🎮 Entertainment & Games The games area was a hit, featuring a chill-out PlayStation lounge and complimentary arcade machines. 🍹 Important All-Inclusive Information If you’re considering booking, it’s worth knowing that the hotel’s all-inclusive package does not include alcoholic drinks throughout the day. Alcohol is only available during lunch and dinner service. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed of this before arrival and only found out when ordering a drink outside meal times. Drinks were available at an additional cost, but the prices were extremely high – we paid around £20 for a vodka and lemonade. We asked about upgrading our package and were told this wasn’t possible, as the hotel is considered a “children’s hotel.” 🎢 Theme Park & Water Park Access One of the biggest benefits is the included access to both the Nickelodeon Theme Park and Water Park. Hotel guests have access to an exclusive area within the water park, complete with sunbeds, seating, and towel service. However, no complimentary drinks or snacks are provided there – not even bottled water. To avoid paying the high food and drink prices inside the park, you’ll need to return to the hotel. 👧 Kids Club & Character Experiences The hotel has a kids’ club, which we visited with our three-year-old. While the facilities were nice, we felt there was very little atmosphere and limited activities taking place. There were a couple of stage shows during our stay, including a magic show and mini disco, but neither felt particularly engaging. Character meet-and-greets are available at scheduled times within the parks, and our daughter loved meeting Masha and the Bear and several Paw Patrol characters. However, we expected to see more character interactions within the hotel itself. There are also character dining experiences available, but these come at an additional cost of around £160 for a family, which didn’t feel worthwhile for us. 🍽 Dining The hotel has one main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was good quality and we enjoyed what we ate, but after 10 nights we found the menu quite repetitive. There are no snack bars available between meal times, so you’re limited to the restaurant’s opening hours. 🌙 Evening Entertainment There is very little evening entertainment within the hotel itself. Guests are encouraged to explore Land of Legends, including the shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions. The resort is stunning after dark, with beautiful lights and a magical atmosphere. However, prices throughout the complex are very high – we paid £10 for a single orange juice. ⭐ Overall Verdict The hotel is visually incredible for children and spotlessly clean throughout. The themed rooms, character branding, and included park access make it a dream destination for younger kids. That said, we felt there were several areas that didn’t quite justify the premium price tag, particularly the limited entertainment, expensive extras, and restrictions within the all-inclusive package. Land of Legends itself is beautiful and magical to explore, especially in the evenings. However, for us, 10 nights was simply too long, and we found ourselves running out of things to do. Would we return? Probably not. While we’re glad we experienced it, it’s not somewhere we’d choose to stay again.

My 11 year old nephew and I (31!) had the BEST experience at the resort. We were blown away by the level of detail in the Nickelodeon Hotel - our SpongeBob room was a childhood dream come true! There are endless retail stores around, lots of choices for food, an incredible buffet serving continental and Turkish food, and the theme park and water parks are so much fun! Would absolutely come back and stay in another room next time - maybe the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle room!
