We were a group of 10 friends, the rooms we were allocated were so different, some were large with a pool view, and others smaller overlooking the car park!, Rooms were well kept, clean, plenty of fresh towels and the mini bar stocked daily. The pool area was lovely but the steps into the pool were narrow and flimsy, I can't believe a new build didn't have wide steps with a handrail into the pool! The pool bar was busy always a big queue to get served, one member of staff serving, the others sorting waiter service. We found the food really good, obviously gets a bit repetitive when you are there for a while, and the coffee shop was a great hit.Entertainment was fantastic, beer festival, white party, etc, and the sports bar showed the football! We often went in the reception bar, and Kadir and the staff were lovely, so hard working and always ready with a smile.Drinks were really good, Guinness on draught in the sports bar, brand names of spirits, most cocktails will be mixed and it's 24 hours!

Lots of good things about the hotel But lots need improving. The pool Area is great, lots of pool and beds. They should really consider heating the pool because it is like an ice bath. We paid £500 for the swim up room Which was a complete waste of money as it made my skin burn when I got in and again absolutely freezing. The bar had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff in there was very friendly. Late night disco was deafening and you couldn’t hear yourself think. Can’t have been the only one who thought so as nobody went in there and if they did they walked straight out. Now the food - pool snack bar and beach snack bar had the exact same thing but was nice enough. However the restaurant was a complete let down. No joke when I say it’s repetitive, the food is the exact same every night even in the same place. The app promised different theme nights and they did not appear at all. By day 3 I was eating chips and onion rings. As had a constant tummy ache. The salads were soggy, the food was cold and it was always the same. The coffee shop was the best part of the hotel, lots of choice of cakes, coffees, milkshakes etc. it was brilliant. The entertainment didn’t really exist. The entertainment team would turn up For a quick Game of darts/ jenga and never came round to get people to join in and create an atmosphere. Such a shame because they were great when playing. Night entertainment was terrible, opera night, long winded game of bingo and a Turkish dance. The night time was the worse as I found the hotel very boring. Would I return…absolutely not. It’s the worse hotel I’ve stayed at. Yes the hotel looks 5 star but the facilities is more a 2.5 star hotel. It has the makings to be amazing but it needs a complete look at

Having in stayed in many hotels in the Antalya area for over twenty holidays, I think we are experienced enough in this type of holiday in Turkey to give a balanced review of this hotel. Rooms - we asked for a pool view and got one, albeit with a very small balcony (see photos) but no complaints. The room was clean, with a mini bar regularly replenished a comfortable bed and a good hot shower. The toilet seat was off when we arrived, I asked for it to be fixed, it was and fell off again, I asked again, it wasn’t fixed, I did it myself. Stains on the wallpaper with some sort of evidence of water damage but no issue to me. Overall no complaints with the room 4.5/5 Pool - plenty of sun beds, good service from the roller skating waiters, we didn’t find the pool cold, it seemed normal. Swim up bar was popular with a regular crowd and a cheery barman eager to please. The afternoon water polo caused a fair bit of carnage with the ball smashing into drinks and sun loungers, not ideal, a few people got the hump, either don’t do it or move it away from the prime area of the pool where it will disturb less people. 4/5. Pool bar and restaurant - Now, a special shout out to a very modest and helpful man who works as a waiter at the pool bar, Cemal. That man is an absolute asset to this hotel. On my first day he could see me looking around and took the time to come over and give me lots of useful information and directions to find my way around and how to get the best from the Service. For the rest of the week he ensured my wife and I always had a drink and a clean table for lunch. This man is your best employee, promote him, he deserves it. The food at the pool bar was decent with pizza, salad and pasta available as well as the usual fare of chicken goujons, kebabs etc. Burgers are cooked to order, food is good, fresh and hot. Bar service here is good too with two or three people behind the bar at most times, sometimes a queue builds up, nothing excessive and this is largely due to people ordering cocktails which take time to make. As previously mentioned, one water slide was permanently closed. The others were open most of the day. We didn’t use them but they seemed popular and well used. 4.5/5 Main restaurant - I’ve seen a lot of reviews quoting inedible food, lack of choice, cold food and undercooked food. We saw nothing of that. Breakfast was the best meal with lots of choice, lunch we didn’t fancy much and after one day ate at the pool bar every day. Evening meal - sufficient choice but not extensive, there was always a roast meat being carved. It was a bit samey and repetitive and not at the standard I have experienced in 5 star hotels in the area previously. That said, we didn’t go hungry and everything I ate was cooked properly and hot although my wife struggled to find sufficient variety of food. 3.5/5 Bar service - one 24 hour bar, with the exception of one or two, the staff seemed largely inexperienced in cocktails and popular drinks. Decent beer, both draft and in bottles, some premium spirits, the usual fare for Turkey really, all bars with the exception of the pool bar seemed a little understaffed. The staff worked tirelessly and did their best, any queuing or lack of stock is a management failure which should be addressed by management. To be fair when I pointed out a particularly good vodka that was only available in one of the bars, the manager got straight onto it and made int available in all bars. Good for him. 4/5 Coffee shop - Excellent! The best part of the hotel. Lovely cakes that varied daily and chocolate offerings made on the premises, and a variety of ice cream daily too. The coffee and hot drinks are good too. The issue here is one member of staff only does drinks and another only does cakes! There is no crossover. Queues build up here frequently, there is not enough staff and they need to be able to serve both drinks and cakes and chocolates. Again, a management failing. The lady in the coffee shop works tirelessly all day long and needs assistance. Management should address this, she is an asset to the hotel and eager to please. Despite the queues, and because of the quality of the cakes and chocolates and endless endeavour of the staff I am going to score the coffee shop 5/5 Entertainment - patchy is a polite way of putting it verging on grim. The Oktoberfest was brilliant, it was an afternoon event and clearly a lot of effort was put in. There was some good groups occasionally for evening entertainment. The usual array of touring gymnasts and acrobats and some pretty dire low bar entertainment (pop bingo and a quiz night) Largely underwhelming. The entertainment team is small and the person who conducts most of the sport events speaks very little English, disappointing as most of the guests are British. 2.5/5 Speciality restaurants - reviews of these weren’t good. We opted for the Mediterranean, despite booking several days in advance we were only offered one day, a Sunday and then only a 1900 slot, it was basically take it or leave it. A lot of emphasis is put onto using the hotel app. I could see our booking on the app. It rained that night, the Mediterranean is at the beach bar with no solid roof. It was cancelled, with no notification via the app or otherwise. Not what I would expect from a hotel advertising itself as 5 * 1/5 Local area - I’m at a loss of all the reviews quoting there is nothing around and the hotel is isolated. Within a few hundred yards is a large shopping centre complete with tattooist for those inclined and a further shopping centre is a 10 minute walk away. The closest one is by far the best in our opinion. No pressure browsing of all the usual Turkey wares, no hard sell, a decent tour operator to book excursions who speaks perfect English and reasonable prices. 4/5 Beach area - the beach area itself is as mentioned quite compact with not a lot of room, there are however always sun beds available. What the hotel has done to gain access to the beach is quite remarkable. They have obviously purchased some additional land, built a bridge from the hotel so you remain “in” the hotel and it is closed off to outsiders. There is an extensive beach bar serving the same food as the pool bar, a tennis court, kids club, kids water park and paddle court. 4.5/5 Reception - staff here definitely need further training in customer service. Certainly not 5*. Almost all are uninterested, unhelpful, lack language skill and often appear tired or grumpy. Not a good first impression or 2nd or 3rd impression. 2/5. Overall then. If you’ve booked you will have a good holiday. It’s not 5*, I know, we’ve stayed in a lot. 4* is more realistic. So if you’ve booked manage your expectations but nothing is that bad to spoil your holiday. Tui staff are on site all day every day, some more experienced and receptive than others but if you have a problem bring it to their attention, they will either fix it or document it. I was surprised for a hotel with the Tui brand all over it that Tui as a company are not investing more in the staff to bring the standards up. It could be very good and there are some very, very good staff striving to do their best and give guests the holiday experience they desire. The staff should be supported and recognised for their efforts.
