Could be a lovely hotel - but I think greed in opening the hotel before it was ready ( probably to not lose money over the summer season ) has really spoilt it Not enough staff - never been to a 5 star where you have to queue for everything Dining in the evening is a disaster - there’s literally a rush a 6.30 when the buffet opens - come after 7.15 and you won’t get a table and the food is often like warm ot runs out - it’s like a free for all Not enough staff clearing tables - no management reviewing or helping and the aircon In the dining room doesn’t work properly ( complained to the hotel about these points and didn’t improve ) Only got offered a drink at the table twice in 7 days - Not enough sunbeds if you don’t get one at 7.30 - and smelt of sewage as you came in to the pool area a few times - think they have a drainage problem as the water also. Went off a few times whilst we were there Entertainment was awful most nights - Michael Jackson night and the lady singer were ok White night at the beach bar - great idea to move 600 people there and have seats for 100 - underwhelming so we stood and then went back Everything is unfinished with little or no snagging Tennis court area is awful and basically a court painted onto rubble Beach is a few uncomfortable loungers in a field with a bit of sand - looks like an equipment store Thea’s coffee shop - awful service and the chap that works there looks like he hates his job and every customer that walks in there Staff are overworked and look harassed Probably left it too late in the season to get enough people as the hotel opening date was moved several times ( and still ain’t ready ) as a result the service is really poor Could be lovely - but was a really un relaxing experience - would not reccomend or go back Not enough people Terrible dining experience Unresponsive reps Unfinished hotel with missing dangerous tiles in the pools ( there all week and reported ) Just a cash grab by TUI to try and get money for the season Not so bad if they were charging 3 star prices or giving money back But it’s not a 5 star-

Stayed for 2 weeks at the start of August. Overall we had a lovely holiday but general feeling is it was not ready to open with not enough staff. Positives - The swim up family duplex rooms with 2 bathrooms . Although new and overall a great space - the finish wasn’t 5 star and obviously rushed with some damaged furniture. Cleaned to a good standard. Bakery was a nice place to go with good coffee and ice creams. The bar on ground floor made good cocktails and enjoyable place to enjoy an evening. Snack bar was enjoyable/ easy for lunch and good food. Entertainment had a good variety throughout day with extra activities bought in such as trampolining in water, exercise bikes and kangaroo jumping. Mustafa was fantastic with the whole family and bought everyone together with good vibes and was a key character for the entertainment team. I feel they would be lost without him and activities were always better with him. The pool was a perfect temperature. Things that need improvement- Communication with staff. Not particularly friendly on reception and a lot of staff seemed irritated. Understood little English. The main restaurant. Overall food was ok but often cold and waiting to be refilled on the same items continuously. Not an enjoyable experience. Often searching for a table and searching for cutlery. Really not 5 star. Hardly ever got offered drinks as the staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced with guests and managing the turn around. Overall- lots of choice for activities (maybe some more needed for teenagers as a lot was limited to 16 +) Areas were improving but staffing on bars and in the restaurant need attention to warrant 5 stars. The girl in the pool bar was always very cheerful and hard working but so hard for her on her own and the bar above her was always unmanned. I would like to think issues would improve and they are opening teething problems but overall an enjoyable stay with many positives.

FIRSTLY if you have ever stayed at a 5* hotel DO NOT book here!!!! This is not 5* Not sure where to start with this review. I booked this hotel last September believing it was a reasonable price to pay (£6100) for a family of 4 peak summer in a brand new 5* Tui blue, what could go wrong? MANY, many things! For a start this hotel is absolutely NOT a 5* I’ve stayed at the Liberty fabay twice in Turkey and that absolutely is a 5* hotel and the difference between the two of them is the fact they are worlds apart. Maviss is not finished, the front of the hotel is a dump lots of old building materials and paint tins everywhere looks very uninviting. The arrival of 6 groups of guests at 2AM and being only one bell boy to take them to there rooms you can imagine how long that took, we were there about 45 mins waiting to be shown our room and no offer of a drink or anything to eat. Having arrived at our room, first impression was huge room with a pretty good lay out (duplex swim up suite) then we opened the patio doors to the balcony/ swim up access and were greeted with a huge dripping from the ceiling. The whole edge of the above swim up room was leaking over onto out patio meaning we wouldn’t be able to use it! I asked the bell boy about this and he said someone would come. I then closed the bathroom door to find the whole handle in my hand. It just came right off. This was only the start of the problems we had, nobody came to look at it. Had to have a battle with reception to get moved rooms after I rang to tell them the actual ceiling in the room was dripping. About 1pm we finally moved rooms. This was of the same standard we had paid for, again not without problems the ceiling above the patio again was leaking, not from the edge like the other room but random drips would fall from the roof meaning you had to have the parasol up to keep these drips off you. This resulted in big white patches of plastery water on the floor and it wasn’t cleaned the whole 10 nights we were in there. The corridor to our room was something else… for a “new” hotel the walls were all flaking with damp patches up to about a meter high!!!! The smell of damp and dirt was just awful and right in the corner was a big green patch of what looked like algae! During our stay this was on a couple of occasions patched up… slapping a bit plaster onto the corners that had already come off and painting over the green algae in the corner!!!! I even saw someone with a hose pulling up water from the bottom of the lifts and just letting it out the window in the corridor so no wonder it smelt as bad as it does. The whole of the swim ups have damp issues in told however they can’t be fixed yet because people are in them to which I replied yes we have paid to stay in them and look at the state of them. Surely it’s better to shut them down fix them properly then Have happy customers and positive reviews?? The block we were in had no sun on the patio on the afternoon so was beds opposite the swim ups to lay on HOWEVER they have bushes in between them and they are literally hanging over your sunbed full of wasps. Bit of a joke really. Food and drinks were all ok, never starved was always something. But again definitely not 5* the Al a cart Italian was a nightmare the lack of English speaking staff at this hotel I’ve known nothing like it! Google translate is on there phones constantly!!! The food was terrible if asked for a pizza for a main for my daughter instead of a starter but they brought hers out at a completely different time and it was literally 2 slices of heated up pizza! That was boiling on top yet cool and almost soggy underneath. Just like the bread they put on the tables clearly hadn’t been properly defrosted. We didn’t finish our meals and left at arrival of desserts, my daughter then beginning to complain of stomach ache about 10pm….. by 3pm she was vomiting all over the bethroom. She did so for the whole of the next day. Housekeeping very kindly came when I rang for them. The man came in with a wet and dry hoover, I was slightly confused by this until I saw him turn on the shower hose all the sick down and hoover it up!!!!!!!!!!! The next morning I went and had a word with the Tui guide to raise some of the issues I had with the room and the fact there was still sick up the shower glass and skirting boards in the bathroom. I was then contacted by guest relations to say house keeping was on the way. They never come!! Twice reported still nobody came! On the Sunday night my kids and husband jumped into the swim up room pool about 8pm for a late night dip before we were due to leave on the Monday. My son shouted mam there’s poo in this pool!!! I told him to stop being silly. My husband told the kids to get out then took the goggles to have a look and 100% there was poo in that pool! It was even smeared on the bottom of the pool.it was actually still there 2 hours after I reported it!!! This was my absolute boiling point I demanded to speak with a manager about all these issues! He agreed with me that all id pointed out was infact shocking for the money we paid and the service we received. He also agreed on the state of the corridor and the damp issues! Our experience of this hotel was awful! It should not be marketed at 5* it’s really no where near and it’s false advertising. Other parts of the hotel are clean enough and nicely done but the issues elsewhere in the swim ups need addressing and fast. I’ve spoken with Tui in hotel about compensation having being offered an insulting amount so now I’m pursuing this at home. This is 100% a genuine review and I’m posting this to make others away. Do not make the same mistake we did. I read reviews before I went and thought people were just being a bit over dramatic or thinking you can’t please everyone!! If I could turn back time I wouldn’t be optimistic and give it a chance I should have changed it. Our holiday has been wasted this year and it’s devastating.

You can truly feel their humanity and positive energy in every interaction. People like Halil and Sıla are what make a hotel experience memorable and meaningful. We are very grateful for their kindness and professionalism. They represented the hotel beautifully and made us feel comfortable, valued, and welcome from the moment we met them. A huge thank you to both of you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely remember your kindness and friendship. Halil and Sıla, you were absolutely perfect at guest relations! It was a last minute holiday for my family (5 of us) it was the best holiday we've ever had due to this hotel. It is truly fantastic you can’t fault them at all, from location to cleanliness, the food and the staff. The rooms were really big and clean. I highly recommend this hotel for a family looking for a welcoming and friendly place to stay and enjoy.
