Yalihan Aspendos

Byli nám ukázáni obrázky Yalihan Una (sousedící - velmi chytrý moderní hotel), takže jsme byli překvapeni a trochu zklamáni, když jsme dorazili o 4:00 a ukázali jsme se docela unavené místnosti. Koupelna byla velmi malá, za toaletou nebyla horká voda a sprchový kout. Byla to rodinná místnost, takže proti vzdálené stěně byly dvě palandy. Nebyli jsme šťastní. Následující den jsme požádali o změnu, ale bylo nám řečeno, že nejsou k dispozici další pokoje. Ok - Nerozdil jsem nic, ale jsem tak daleko. Pokoj byl však v přízemí a chodili jsme přímo na písečnou pláž. Nechystaly se žádné výtahy - trvalo nám to méně než minutu od pláže až k místu. V odpoledních hodinách se objevila horká voda, takže byly pohodlné - a mohli bychom položit naše oblečení atd. Na palandy. Byla zde lednice, wifi, televize (ne velkou recepci, ale žádné programy v angličtině, takže to na tom nezáleželo. Pláž měla spoustu lehátek (zdarma), ale pokud jste chtěli matraci, bylo to 1 euro za matraci za den. Pěkný bazén (příliš mnoho chlóru - brýle) se sprchovým koutem, různými občerstvovacími mýdly kolem zásobování nápoji a občerstvením. Kiddie klub (také děťátko ukazuje většinu večerů se stejnými písněmi a akcemi - což už teď víme) Jídlo je v pořádku, ale všichni jejich hádání, když jsme tam byli, byli němečtí nebo ruští, takže si myslím, že mají tendenci se na ně postarat. Dalo nám to příležitost vyzkoušet různé potraviny - některé z nich se mi líbily. Ve většině nocí se v zábavě odehrává malá přehlídka - opět v němčině nebo ruštině (nebo obojí), ale jakmile věděli, že jsme tam byli, přeložili je požehnáním. Zaměstnanci jsou krásní, listy se denně mění - většina z nich má úsměv a opravdu jim pomůže. Jsem opravdu potěšen, že jsme skončili v Yalihan Aspendos. Je to osobnější, že tyto obrovské moderní hotely. Doporučil bych vám to zkusit - dostat pokoj 503

Where to start, me and my fiancé along side his parents have just recently stopped here at Yalihan Aspendos for a 2 week all inclusive holiday, would we stop here again the honest answer would be no, this is based on serval factors which i will detail below but for now i will start with the hotels positives. This hotel is very beautiful and is a very modern hotel, which we found to be spotlessly clean. The bedding and towels were changed regularly which we was impressed with, the free amenities that you have in your room was very impressive which was replaced daily, items such as bottles of fizzy pop including coca cola, Fanta etc... water. we have never stayed anywhere were this was complimentary. very nice touch. The hotel is only a stone throw away from local shops, Bazars and the local Wednesday market which we visited twice and went to the shops regularly! it was lovely to get out of the hotel and explore the local areas, however this did come at a disadvantage sometimes with the local shop owners and market stall holders as we found then very pushy and forceful when it come to looking in shops or on there stalls, we explained that we just wanted to look at what they had to offer which made it uncomfortable at times, as we felt pressured into buying things. another positive from the hotel was the drinks which I currently can not drink due to been pregnant my partner stated that the cocktails that he had was beautiful all made fresh in front of you. I did sample to Mocktail menu they was also very nice and tasty, there was a wide variety of drinks available. Something for everyone. I also, incurred a injury whilst at the hotel, through no fault of my own I was sat at the pool bar and a sun parasol blew over and hit me on the back of the head, with being pregnant and taking blood thinners I immediately went to reception to which they called the manager and the nurse and I was seen very quickly and checked over I was given reassurance that all my STATs was fine and off I went, a little later in the day I received a very lovely note wishing me a speedy recovering and well wishes for my pregnancy, which was accompanied with some lovely cookies and cakes, this was such a lovely touch. Also whilst I was there it was my birthday and again I received a lovely happy birthday note with a bottle of wine and a selection of cakes. I couldn't drink the wine but I certainly enjoyed the cakes. The variety of snacks that are available to you whilst here is very impressive there is plenty to eat, the food at the main restaurant was not of very good quality but I will get into that shortly. The pool area and the beach are also very clean, very large spaces, you could also get a sun lounger/ bed at any time of the day. Whilst we was here the hotel was so quite all day! which made it the perfect to just sit and relax. Now onto the not good side of the hotel; The Major negative that we found was the main restaurant, first and foremost it was a mad scramble at 19.00 every night to be able to get a table big enough for our party of 4 people, we had to go down every night before 19.00 and que up outside the doors, we found on one of our first nights at the hotel we went at 19.30 and we could not get a table for about 30 minutes, from then on we was stood queuing so we could get seated and eat at a reasonable time. We found that in our opinion the food was such a poor quality, drenched in oil which left us with upset stomachs most nights. We felt that there was limited choice of food and it felt very repetitive the same foods every night, towards the end of the second week we actually dreaded going for food. Which is such a shame. The steak al a carte was such a massive disappointment we was looking forward to this as we read so many good reviews about it but we honestly wasted €30, we complained the next day to the management the next day it was that bad, We was served burnt garlic bread, something labelled as oxtail soup which looked and tasted like dish water! My partner asked for bone marrow for a starter the waiter told him this was not available, which at the time wasn't an issue he picked something else but then I notice the same waiter that took our order took another table's order and they was served the bone morrow, my partner asked that very same waiter if the bone marrow was now available and we again was told "NO" my partner left it at that and we got on with our meal, we was then served a steak main course, the steak was just thrown onto the plate after been cut up by a waiter the presentation was horrendous, the steak tasted okay quite fatty, nothing to write home about, anyways we could finish our steaks as we was very fully and so we left small about on our plate, the waiter that took our plates made such a fuss about the fact we had left food, I explained to him that we was full and could not eat anymore, after he took our plates I noticed he went up to another waiter and was pointing at us and laughing saying "FULL, FULL", which was quite humiliating. as we was sat there my partner notice another table been served the bone marrow so he thought he would ask again if it was available to which we was told no so he pointed out that other tables had been served that dish, again the waiter started making a really big fuss and brought a menu over so my partner pointed out the dish, then he went over to the chefs would told him it was available, he came over to us and told us that it was now available (my partner did not want any at this point as we was full but was doing it out of principle, you cannot tell one table a dish is not available but then serve it to serval other tables). any way after all this i had a discussion with my partner and we decided to skip dessert as we was so full and could not eat another mouth full, when the waiter came over and asked us about the dessert we politely declined explaining that we was full, as we stood up to put our jackets on I noticed that all the waiters and the chefs was just stood in a line staring at us, which was so uncomfortable, we felt so humiliated and upset by the whole experience. like I mentioned we complained to management the next day and a few days later received a message to state that department had been spoken to. This is a very honest review and based solely on what we experienced whilst we stopped at this hotel. We did have a very special and beautiful holiday and we will always remember this hotel as my partner proposed to me here. We made some beautiful memories, but we was just let down by the food.

Such an aesthetic, welcoming & serene atmosphere. The staff, sunsets, room & food/drink options are immaculate. Special shoutout to Ersin, Hussain in reception & Aynur for being ever so helpful, but I must add ALL staff were HIGHLY welcoming & friendly. We will definitely be coming back. If we could we would rate it 6 stars.

Top class hotel. Amazing food great helpful staff amazing beach front location. I did all inclusive. The food was second to none. Great selection. The cocktail were great in the evening. Half the week I may have been the only Brit here but that suits me as I came for peace and relaxation. Second half more brits. Every room has sea views. Nocks spots off the equivalent in Spain. Would definitely come back. Xx
