Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai

Perfection. This resort is a tranquil oasis with uncompromising service. Our 3 bedroom villa was a dream for our family of 5 (all adults) giving us each our own space but providing a central space for getting together. The pool was huge and there was a full complement of outdoor amenities. The best part was our butler Thinh who made sure everything worked smoothly. He organized the most beautiful birthday celebration for us that inspired us to spend the evening reminiscing and laughing. All of his touches were so thoughtful and personal that it was one of the best birthdays we've ever had. The rooms and the pool were always perfectly ready for whatever we needed. When we encountered a problem with the lighting in our room, he found a solution. He made this Four Seasons resort the finest we've ever stayed in. The rest of the staff is also top-notch--from the bell-men to the servers at breakfast (the latter was also amazing). Hoi An can be a bit bustling and it was ideal to have the oasis to come back to. From the rooms to the staff to the food, it all worked perfectly

We absolutely loved our stay! The Four Seasons does such a good job finding and retaining quality people. They allow their staff to be unique with a strong service mind. This is the case with everyone we came into contact with. Thank you to Marco (concierge) who made excellent recommendations and patiently handled changes to our itinerary. Marco also took the time to greet us and say good bye at departure. Thank you to our butler Quan, who went above and beyond daily for us. I had someone come to blow my hair out and he handled all of the arrangements. The food at all of the restaurants is amazing, especially breakfast. The Omakase at the Japanese restaurant was delicious and we loved speaking with the Spanish chef. Our pool villa was stunning although the weather did not cooperate while we were there. Two bikes were provided and it was fantastic riding through the beautiful property. The small daily snacks and nightly negronis were delicious. We slept so soundly every night. We booked several of the wellness services via private sessions and were very happy with the quality of massage, reiki, meditation and couples time. My husband is very skeptical and he raved about his session with Brad, the visiting master. We also loved our couples bath filled with lemon grass, limes, rose petals, cilantro and other detoxifying herbs. The beach has some trash which could have been exacerbated by the strong swells. We arranged a cultural tour through the hotel with Vu and he was so informative and educational! I am sorry we did not have one more day to tour with him. Another thank you to Jimmy, Toi (breakfast), Lieu (spa), Anh (Vietnamese restaurant), Dung Tran (breakfast) and Tram (breakfast) and I am sorry to not be able to remember everyone else we interacted with.

Wow! What a gorgeous spot. The white sand beaches, the decor designed perfectly, and a lovely staff. The room is relaxing and reflective of the cultural design.

A warm welcome from River when we arrived at the airport late from the UK, followed by a lovely greeting by our host Trang at reception at FS made us feel instantly at home. FS is high end luxury spread over a large area with a personal feel throughout. Your host, in our case Trang, does everything for you. She made us feel we were part of a family rather than just looking after us. Nothing was too much of a problem. Our villa was a pool villa, one bedroom garden view. It was massive. The bedroom, en-suite etc was large enough, then you have another large villa containing the lounge dining room which goes down to the pool. We didn’t need to use this room in our stay but could easily house 12 people for chilling out. Pool we had slightly heated and was a perfect size and although a garden view room, you could see the sea. Indoor and outdoor showers, huge comfortable bed. We tried the Cafe Nam Hai for the Indian food restaurant. Amazing meal. All the food was cooked to your taste regarding chilli heat. Staff here, as throughout the hotel, seemed to know you straight away and look after you. Also ate at the international/ Vietnamese La Sen. Lovely food again. Nice mix of food to suit all palates. Staff friendly courteous, polite. Breakfast was also at the Cafe Nam Hai. Lovely spread. Cooked to order and buffet. You could get your food or have it served to you. The beach is huge and clean but due to the wind and lack of time we didn’t spend much time on it. Because of the expanse of the site you felt that it was very quiet. Never an issue to book any restaurant or activity. The massage at the Spa was perfect. Very relaxing. I missed half of it and was too relaxed and slept! Thank you Lin. You can get around via walking, bike which is provided or buggy. At night the lighting could be better as was easy to miss a turn on a bike. Obviously whilst walking you could use a torch which again is provided. I understand that FS do not want neon lights everywhere but maybe just improve it. Also maybe the odd wooden signage board to help get around? You are given a map but once you are out there isn’t clear directions. These are small points. What really makes this resort are the staff and in particular our host Trang. We met many other members and all of them without exception were so friendly but Trang was a diamond. I honestly thought she was wired to her phone as every time I asked her for something or to do something, the message was read and replied to instantly. She was if anything proactive rather than reactive. Everyone needs a Trang in their life. I am sorry that I hang mentioned other people’s names all of which could be highlighted. I cannot wait to return. Enjoy

Truly a luxury resort - maybe the best in Vietnam. Everything you dream of in one place - and you do become happy the minute you enter this world class estate with yoga, tennis, Padel, pickleball, basketball, gym….even my body got happy
