Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection

Positioned just across the bridge from Hoi An’s Old Town, Moire offers convenient access to major sights while remaining removed from the immediate noise. Rooms are modern and comfortable, while breakfast provides well-portioned dishes served on warmed plates. Driver Michael provided a great transfer in a luxury Mercedes SUV, and Mimy at the Yellow Bicycle restaurant was exceptionally warm and welcoming, they were truly the only two staff members we genuinely liked and appreciated during our stay. Regrettably, the hotel struggled with basic housekeeping, communication, service anticipation, and hospitality grace. Although modern, our room was noticeably dirty in several spots (see attached picture), and throughout our two-night stay, dirty dishes were left uncollected in the hallway corridor for the entire duration of our visit. Upon landing in Danang, being exhausted, we inadvertently forgot about our booked transfer and arranged a Grab; however, for a 5-star luxury hotel that had our flight number and WhatsApp contact, we expected a proactive call or heads-up upon landing rather than a message two hours later while we were already en route. Although we profusely apologized via chat and willingly paid for the transfer anyway, the lobby and check-in staff repeatedly brought up and dwelled on how long the driver had been waiting, making us feel unnecessarily guilty throughout the check-in process. Furthermore, during a sudden rainstorm at the pool, staff ran for shelter holding umbrellas over themselves without offering assistance or umbrellas to guests trying to cover their belongings (see attached picture). Lastly, the breakfast setup requires guests to walk to a booth just to order eggs that are later delivered to the table, and takeaway coffee is strictly prohibited, which felt unnecessarily restrictive for a boutique property.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and had several massages over three days, including full-body, foot, and head massages. The experience was excellent every time. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and professional. The therapists were wonderful, and the quality of the massage was so good that we came back and specifically asked for the same ladies again. I am a doctor myself, and I was truly impressed by their professionalism, technique, and ability to understand and feel exactly what the body needs. This was much more than just a relaxing massage — it felt like a truly professional therapeutic treatment. Highly recommended! It is absolutely worth the money. If you are staying at this hotel, don’t miss the opportunity to have a massage here.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The staff were very attentive and welcoming, the hotel was beautiful and green, and the facilities were great. The location was excellent too—just a short walk to the Ancient Town and Central Market. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it! Special shoutout to Tom and James. Beautful hotel in prime location on the river. The staff go above and beyond, from the moment we arrived Tom make us feel welcomed and assisted us with all our needs. Nonthing was ever to much trouble. The pool overlooking the river was beautiful. The spa treatment was excellent and the food was very good, catering to all our vegetarian needs. Also a special mention to Harry and James who also assisted us with our plans.

We stayed four nights at the hotel lately because of the great view on the old town, especially with the lanterns at night - and we have not been disappointed at all. The service was very attentive, especially Harry and Dean at the reception (helped us to change a tour booking). The pool is great to refresh at hot days and the breakfast was good. Only the service poolside has a little room to improve (e.g. clear tables and pool beds of used towels, refresh glasses and water).
