Diamonds Bijoux

Hello. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the holiday we spent at your resort. We stayed for two weeks at Diamonds Bijoux in room O303. I would especially like to mention the specific people who made this holiday unforgettable and are the reason we will be returning next year; we sincerely hope these individuals stay on, as they truly put their hearts into their work. First and foremost, I want to mention Simba from the animation team; he devoted himself to us fully every day, played games with us, and took a genuine interest in our satisfaction—he deserves our biggest thanks. He taught us basic Swahili phrases and took wonderful care of us. Karitha, also from the animation team, was absolutely amazing; we danced with her every day and played darts—she was fantastic. Sanjeev and Ajith were wonderful managers who took a personal interest in our experience, including the dining, and we thank them very much. Makame from the animation team also attended to us daily and conducted himself with great professionalism. Among the bartenders, I must mention Erastus; we shared many laughs with him, and he did everything we asked for. Finally, there is Herieth, who chatted with us and was always helpful whenever we had questions. We thank the entire hotel staff from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to returning next year with big smiles. We truly hope the team remains the same, as they are the very reason we want to come back. The main reason we’ll be coming back is the entertainer Simba. We’ve traveled to many parts of the world, but no one treated us as wonderfully as he did.

There are so many positive things to mention about the Diamonds Bijoux resort. Aside from the resort's spectacular beauty and allure, the staff are truly exceptional in their endeavour to make the guest experience wonderful. Without the attentive and hospitable staff this place would not be what it is - everyone should be extremely proud of their hard work. We stayed here as part of a 7 night all inclusive package, for our Honeymoon. As soon as you arrive you can see that the resort is a secure and a safe place to be. Gatehouse security, perimeter security and beach security. All attentive and also approachable and friendly. We booked a Villa, which exceeded our expectations - 2 separate bathrooms, mini bar, private pool, outdoor shower and the villa was serviced daily by the wonderful team. Special credit to the Butler service manager Talent, who excelled in delivering 5 star hospitality by communicating attentively with us and Coordinating efficiently with his colleagues. Our Butlers Malon and Damian were equally brilliant. By all inclusive standards, the food is good and there are many options from the buffet. At times repetitive, but this can be expected for buffets. The hotel does a good job utilising fresh and local produce. The inclusion of themed nights like the Gala dinner are an excellent touch also. I would strongly recommend to book any of the premium restaurants if you are seeking an elevated dining experience. A special thank you to staff who have been our waiters and chefs - Lucia, Juma, Ajith and Vipul. There are daily activities coordinated by the resort staff which is a nice way to keep active and engaged (there is also a gym, multiple swimming pools). Our activities host Makame was excellent and did a great job getting the ball rolling! There is also daily entertainment during /after dinner service and this was also very good. The resort team are also able to support you with booking external activities / excursions/transfers. There are so many positives to mention so now here are some points for improvement: 1) We booked a dolphin snorkeling excursion but we did not end up going through with it due to safety concerns. In summary, the life jackets were not adequate, there was no life ring and the boat crew consisted of only the driver. A previous activity we attended had significantly better safety equipment and had 2 personnel (1 boat driver and 1 diver). We believe that somewhere along the line there has been an oversight breakdown i.e. Resort staff/those who are responsible for co-ordinating activities off site should attend in person periodically to see first hand what the practices are like to ensure guests have a safe experience. 2) It would be good to have a villa pool cleaning rota which the guests are aware of, or at least an advance notice (day before) of when the pool is going to be cleaned. There were a couple of occasions where we would have liked to use the pool e.g morning / afternoon but were delayed due to it being cleaned. Also, some of the pool mosaic tiles may require some minor upkeep. 3) The villa cleaning is well done, however at times it can be a little bit delayed which is understandable if you have different guests requesting cleaning at different times. Advance notice from guests/staff would help coordinate this more efficiently. 4) The elevator in the restaurant complex could certainly do well with a refresh, as it appears that it is used to move goods as well. Nothing major, just a deep clean. If you are getting the lift up to the premium restaurants, it should be clean and presentable.

Reception is amazing. Very accommodating And very friendly. The daily entertainment was absolutely fabulous. Food at the buffet was good.

We had such a wonderful stay at Diamonds Bijoux. Our villa was beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after being on safari. The team really made our stay special. The cleaning crew took wonderful care of our villa, and the butler service was excellent. A special thank you to Talent, the manager of the butler team, who made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. After a busy safari, Diamonds Bijoux was exactly what we needed—peaceful, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it!

We have just returned from this beautiful island & it did not disappoint. We would like to start off by saying thank you to Marko who arranged an upgrade for us as we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, our room was really lovely & in the perfect position. We cannot praise the staff enough everyone was so happy , helpful , & amazing we wish we could name you all you all deserve a special recognition. Unfortunately I became unwell whilst on holiday but I was seen by Doctor Lissah and again amazing support thank you 🤩 We do have a couple of little issues. There are a lot of tiles in the pool that are loose , for a new hotel there are some poor finishing touches that could be looked at. The hotel have a limited choose of sprits for the all inclusive & they do not have any coconut rum ! Also be careful as each bar has different drinks included in the all inclusive check the menu for the gold diamond . The staff have very good cocktail ideas but they are not on the menu so ask & they will make you one. The food was good , nice to have theme nights but maybe have different nights as a two week holiday you will have the same food / theme nights , the pool bar food was really lovely definitely worth a try . There is not a lot of day time activities but the ones they do have are not advertised anywhere including meal times a nice typed up board in front of theatre bar area would be perfect. Previous reviews have mentioned about the sea being out all day but we found this to be a positive as we walked right out & saw some of the amazing sealife. Overall an amazing experience, very relaxing, all staff very friendly & helpful , we would definitely love to return one day .
