Holiday | Couple We stayed from September 4th to 6th, and mate, it was a proper 5-star experience from start to finish! We were over there celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary as well as my birthday on September 5th, which lined up spot-on with the resort's gala dinner night. The gala was absolute top-notch—a legendary night we’ll be talking about for yonks. The food spread was outrageously good; hats off to the kitchen crew and stewards for putting on such an incredible feast, and huge credit to the restaurant team for setting up an unreal spot for the event. Outside of the gala, the tucker right across our stay was dead-set amazing. The Teppanyaki restaurant was 100% on point, from the crackin' food to the legendary service! Big shoutout to housekeeping too: our room was fresh as, brand spanking new, and kept spotless. The team went above and beyond with some bloody cute room decorations and top-tier turn-down service each evening. A massive thank you to Sarah and Mr. Ghosh for looking after my wife and me so brilliantly, giving us such a memorable stay and a fantastic time off. I highly reckon anyone looking for a proper luxurious and unforgettable getaway in Zanzibar should check out Diamonds Bijoux. What an amazing experience, this is the best resort I have experienced in Zanzibar - breathtaking views, beautiful ocean views and one of a kind amenities Very attentive staff - friendly, professional Namely Pier, Khatib, Steven, Magnus, Ajith, Amani. The restaurant Hi Mi was spectacular - teppanyaki and Asian cuisine. Great meals at the buffet and beautifully curated themed dinners. We especially loved the variety of fresh salads and poke bowls. Our suite was spacious with beautiful ocean views where we could see the sunrise each morning. Cleanliness and attention to detail was 10/10.

Fabulous experience! Brand new structure with attention to detail and guest comfort. Food is tasty with focus on local products and culinary tradition which I appreciate. The only minus is inexperienced staff. I guess this is the issue for many African countries where specialised education and formation is not available. I doubt there are any hospitality or Hotellerie schools in Tanzania and this transpire in service quality. Beach is white and the sea is clean. I recommend this hotel for all categories of travellers.

I’ve checked in to 100+ hotels, but I’ve never seen behaviour like this from any hotel—especially not from a 5‑star. Omg, truly a disgusting experience. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They don’t f**king care about you. Even if you’re about to miss your flight, they’re so relaxed, like they don’t f**king mind—even when all the fault is on their side. Totally unprofessional. We asked them three times to clean the room; only after the third request did they finally do it. Also, it feels like a scam at the counter: they tell you dinner is 60 USD, then at checkout they just hand you a 120 USD invoice double the amount. Never expected this kind of handling from a 5‑star hotel.

## Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Diamonds Bijoux Zanzibar We recently spent **5 nights at Diamonds Bijoux in Zanzibar on an all-inclusive basis**, and we had a truly wonderful and memorable experience. The hotel is **new, beautifully designed, and absolutely beautiful**. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning property, the attention to detail, and, most importantly, the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and the team consistently made us feel welcome and well looked after. We particularly enjoyed the food and would like to give a special mention to **Sanjeev, the Director of Food & Beverage, Head Chef Vipul, and the entire restaurant team**. They were fantastic — professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring that we had a wonderful dining experience. I was also celebrating my **birthday during our stay**, and the team went above and beyond to make me feel extra special. The birthday cake and having everyone sing for me was such a thoughtful and heartwarming surprise. It was a beautiful gesture that made my birthday even more memorable. We would also like to thank the **Front Office Manager Ghosh and Maria, the Guest Relations Manager**, for being so accommodating when we requested a **late check-out**. They handled everything with kindness and professionalism, making our departure relaxed and stress-free. Overall, **Diamonds Bijoux exceeded our expectations**. The beautiful new property, excellent food, outstanding service, and genuinely warm people made our stay very special.
