The location is right on the beachfront and the seaweed is cleared on a daily basis to leave soft white sand. There is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere throughout he whole of the complex and in the main this is due to the amazing staff who are always happy to help and constantly smile. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable large bed and very very clean. All the accessories you could need are supplied (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) along with the little added extras of toothbrush kit, sewing kit and others. In the main it is a very quiet place but, for us, the poolside music could be a bit loud. This did not disturb the relaxation though. The pools were cleaned daily. The buffet food was flavoursome and there was always plenty of it. We loved the cooking stations where the food was cooked fresh and to perfection. The salad section was also well stocked and plenty to choose from. Breakfast was amazing!! So much choice and eggs cooked fresh and brought to your table by delightful staff. We would like to say a very big thank you to JAKLINE, SEPINA, MAGNUS, GRACE, OSCAR, FREDRIK, EUNICE and AJITH. These are just a few of the staff that made our stay special and memorable but every member of staff were amazing. We would also like to thank LINDY for organising table and transport for the Rock Restaurant (which was an amazing experience and would recommend) We were treated like their own family from start to finish and feel like we came home with several new friends. We would agree with some of the other reviews about the pool tiles coming off and being on the bottom of the pool, it did not deter from the pool experience though. All in all beautiful location, clean, friendly, spacious and the gardens are well maintained. We will be returning!!!!

Amazing hotel everything is near perfect the only reason I’m giving 4/5 is because there was no accessibility for the physically challenged but all in all an amazing experience the staff were exemplary and they made sure to assist us however they could despite the slight infrastructural shortcomings.

Spent a couple of days in a group at this new resort and had an overall good experience but there were definitely issues that need to be addressed. The Good: The staff were great. Friendly and eager to make our stay memorable The Junior Suite was spacious and the room overall was very comfortable The pools were great but tiles need to be replaced where they have come off Food - the food was generally good with a stand out dish here and there Areas of improvement: Inexperienced Staff - clearly on a steep learning curve Double billing/Incorrect Bills - make sure you check your bills. Ask for a summary of your room bill way before check out Food at Upstairs restaurant - the food at the Nyama Choma and Hi Mi Asian Restaurant did not live up to expectations. Not sure I would come back to stay at this resort because of the mixed experience given the choices available in Zanzibar.

Hello. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the holiday we spent at your resort. We stayed for two weeks at Diamonds Bijoux in room O303. I would especially like to mention the specific people who made this holiday unforgettable and are the reason we will be returning next year; we sincerely hope these individuals stay on, as they truly put their hearts into their work. First and foremost, I want to mention Simba from the animation team; he devoted himself to us fully every day, played games with us, and took a genuine interest in our satisfaction—he deserves our biggest thanks. He taught us basic Swahili phrases and took wonderful care of us. Karitha, also from the animation team, was absolutely amazing; we danced with her every day and played darts—she was fantastic. Sanjeev and Ajith were wonderful managers who took a personal interest in our experience, including the dining, and we thank them very much. Makame from the animation team also attended to us daily and conducted himself with great professionalism. Among the bartenders, I must mention Erastus; we shared many laughs with him, and he did everything we asked for. Finally, there is Herieth, who chatted with us and was always helpful whenever we had questions. We thank the entire hotel staff from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to returning next year with big smiles. We truly hope the team remains the same, as they are the very reason we want to come back. The main reason we’ll be coming back is the entertainer Simba. We’ve traveled to many parts of the world, but no one treated us as wonderfully as he did.
