Shaba Boutique Hotel

If a reasonably-priced comfortable stay in the heart of Stone Town is required, the Sheba Boutique Hotel is worth a stay. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is good with delicious coffee. Rooms are understandably a little small but clean. Climbing the narrow stairs could be a problem for some but help with luggage is readily offered. Thanks again to all who made our stay most pleasant.

This was the perfect stay. Slept great in a comfortable bed with AC in the room. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was central to all the attractions and explorations of Stonetown we’d wanted for our three days here. Big thanks to Bianca, Dennis, and Aisha - great hosts. Asante sana!

The hotel is in a prime location, it is beautiful and every detail is very well thought. Staff is lovely and very helpful (special mention to Bianca). Room was very comfortable and big, with a very nice ensuite bathroom. Very comfy mattress, and both ceiling fan and aircon to choose. The detail of having a hot/cold water dispenser for guests on every level is very handy and convenient. Breakfast is excellent, wide a wide range of freshly made options every morning. Would definitely recommend.

The staff at Shaba accommodated our family when there was a mix up at another hotel we had booked. We were welcomed with a cool space to sit and welcomed cool drinks. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the hotel was quaint and beautifully decorated. Our rooms were large with balcony looking over the rooftops of stone town. Walking distance to ferry and night market. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioned rooms with large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was great. Great value for money, would highly recommend.

Perfect location - beautiful Hotel and very friendly Staff. The Hotel Management was fantastic and the breakdast was delicious. I can recommend this Hotel for everyone. It is very quiet, has a beautiful Interior and offers a super Price. A Special extra is tea and water for free.
