Shaba Boutique Hotel

From 16 till 18-12-2025 we stayed at this Warm Welcoming style in Old Stone Town Designed Boutique Hotel. From the start on, we got this complimentary breakfast, while waiting for our room to get ready. We loved the fresh local yummy fruits & the delicious home-made local dishes. We got at the breakfast. Many thxs for the comfortable, clean room. And the always ready to help us team of loving people to our comfort & care. Lots of Succes & Keep up the good work. A happy couple.

This hotel is convenient to everything in Stone Town which is great. Staff are really kind and helpful and rooms are clean. We stayed during a busier time of year and booked the small double (we are two) and we probably should have booked the one that wasn't "small" as this was really small for two people. Hard to move around and nothing to sit on except the bed --- would be fine for a single person though. Other than that, the stay was very good. The decor was lovely, comfy bed, quiet room and, again, very kind and hospitable staff.

We stayed one night at this lovely hotel located in the narrow streets of Stone Town. There is traditional wood decor throughout the hotel giving it a characterful feel. Our room reflected this with a four-poster bed. A mosquito net and safe was provided but the latter wasn't working. The en-suite bathroom included a shower in wet-room style. WiFi was good. Drinking water is available in the communal area. The staff were friendly and helpful and even walked us to a nearby restaurant when we asked for directions. Breakfast was excellent with great fresh fruits delivered to the table, fresh omelettes available from the buffet and lots of other help-yourself options including breads, salad, cakes, good coffee and delicious fruit juices etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here and would recommend it.

If a reasonably-priced comfortable stay in the heart of Stone Town is required, the Sheba Boutique Hotel is worth a stay. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is good with delicious coffee. Rooms are understandably a little small but clean. Climbing the narrow stairs could be a problem for some but help with luggage is readily offered. Thanks again to all who made our stay most pleasant.

This was the perfect stay. Slept great in a comfortable bed with AC in the room. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was central to all the attractions and explorations of Stonetown we’d wanted for our three days here. Big thanks to Bianca, Dennis, and Aisha - great hosts. Asante sana!
