Zanzibar Bay

Jambo Jambo! Atmosphere is lovely, two hotels together. Service is good and very friendly and happy. Clean room, helpfull staff, lovely Latifa and Amina at restaurant. Beach is not beautiful, as we knew. Hakuna matata!

Let's start by saying that they are so lucky in these hotels (Zanzibar bay and Paradise beach are sharing rhe facilities) to have all these great people who are working here including the trainees. From the ones who were serving and welcoming in the resto and bars ( great thank to Miriam, Mariam) and Daudi the manager of the resto) to the animation team ( Haji and the whole team ) and cleaning staff. There is a positive atmosphere and is not like in other all inclusive hotel (not so intensive). We need to be clear that both hotels are three starts (I think the only difference is maybe is the rooms) even if Zanzibar it is clasifued 4 starts.When it comes to food, depends on your taste but you will find something. The fruits are good and the juices at the bars. The animation in the evening is nice and during the day you have also some actvities. As mentioned in other comments , for a real beach and for swimming the best option is to take the free shuttle from the hotel (30min) to a nice beach. They have it only in the morning (return at 13h00) but it is enough. At the hotel they have a small beach. I would.like to draw the attention to the excursions/taxi (from the hotel they have a company organising this). The one at Sallam cave with turtels - they are not in the natural environment and they are quite agressive. Several people from the hotel were bitten and nobody mentioned anything about this. So better to avoid this kind of artificial created places where animals are not in their envi. A last word on the Maasai tribe people that you will meet them on the beach outside the hotel. Some of them need to better understand that their attitude could be seen agressive at a certain moment if they insist and come to you everytime when they see you (they say pole pole but they need to learn also enough is enough).

We had a wonderful time at the hotel! The Asian and Indian restaurants were our absolute favorites. A special thank you to Willium and Andrew — such friendly and welcoming staff. Hopefully, we’ll return to the hotel someday

Zanzibar is simply MIND-BLOWING place. When I was making my research about hotels in the island, Paradise Beach Resort definitely called my attention for all its offered benefits and facilities such as the All Inclusive package, daily entertainment shows, different bars and pools to enjoy. I came alone and staying in a nice place where all my necessities are being taking care of is my number one priority. The hotel is full of families, honey mooners; however, as a solo traveler is a lovely option to enjoy solitude relax time, and why not having the change to make new friends. The staff were absolutely friendly, professional and helpful. I want to mention Happy Hostess, Johannes the masai, the chef Lotfy. The hospitality was BEYOND my expectations, they made me feel like in home.
