Zanzibar Bay Resort

Overall, we had a good stay and felt the hotel offered good value for money. The food was good and there was always plenty available, although it did become quite repetitive after a while. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Aisha in the restaurant, who was fantastic throughout our stay. The pool area was also very good and we never struggled to find a sunbed, which was a big positive. The main downside was the constant hassle from people trying to sell things. The guys from the spa approached us repeatedly around the pool — on one day alone we said no around five times, but were still approached again. This became frustrating when we just wanted to relax. The same issue was even worse on the beach. The beach boys were so persistent that it made the beach almost impossible to properly enjoy, which is a real shame given the location. Overall, a good-value hotel with lovely staff, decent food and a nice pool area, but the constant selling around the pool and beach definitely affected the experience.

Where do I start.... room ok but that is probably the best part of this holiday we are here now !!! The food is horrible we have skipped breakfast most days ! Today I had a roll with cold chips . 4 star this is NOT 2 star at best . The 2 other restaurants are bad we did complain but got nowhere . Beach is awful. We paid £3600 for 10 days all inclusive and wish we looked elsewhere. It's not clean the glasses are dirty .... so disappointed. You get hassled every day to book a massage at $120 ... please look elsewhere. I looked at trip advisor before booking and can't understand where the good reviews come from . It's appalling 😩. Chicken not cooked bad tummy every day !!!!! Looking forward to going home which is a first for me

The food was top class! The staff is Amazing, the personal attention and care from the staff is top class. The facilities on the property is amazing, with a lot of area to relax and enjoy your stay to the fullest. The cleanliness of the whole property top standards! We had the most wonderful honeymoon in Zanzibar, and our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodation to the service and hospitality. It was truly the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. A very special thank you to Paul Junior, Rashid, and Mussa, who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon so memorable. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. Massive thanks to Faby from the excursion desk who went out his way to source us a new wireless charger for our phone due to our ports not working- delivered same day! Outstanding service! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will always remember our time here with such fond memories. Thank you to the whole team for making our honeymoon so special! ❤️🌴☀️ Highly recommended — we would love to come back!
