Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort & Casino

I saw so many amazing things about this place I was super excited. We stayed from May 6-13th 2026 I was waiting to write this review as when I checked out the front desk told me there would be no charge to my card but to my surprise once we got back there was a $185 charge on my card. It took some time but have finally gotten the money back with the help of their IG account. We did All inclusive and it’s not like a typical all inclusive like DR or Mexico which I think thats what our expectations were set on. Rooms The fridge for an all inclusive guest empty. No pop, juice, beer nothing. They do leave 3 bottles of water on the counter though but would have been nice to have some variety in the room as well. The pull out bed very uncomfortable. We had the bright idea to use the sofa cushions as extra padding which helped a lot. The main bed is very comfortable. The bathroom could definitely use some touch ups with fixture and small things but it was fine overall. Entertainment There is basically no entertainment here. If you’re comparing it to a traditional all inclusive spot. No nightly shows or activities to participate in daily. They do do bingo which is maybe 2-3 times a week with an additional charge per card. They have 1 show on Thursdays and that is pretty much your entertainment there. it’s definitely not enough it’s a VERY chill resort with nothing much to do but swimming during the day and night. I will say they did do a make your own scrub class and a sip and paint which was very needed and fun to do. I feel like if they would do more cool activities like that and some shows it would make this place way better entertainment wise. This hotel is very small. There is two sides to it but both sides are small not much to explore. It is connected to a small mall with expensive high name stores within. They do have other souvenirs shops near by everywhere The flamingo island is cool and you can definitely get some great shots with the flamingos. Keep in mind you do get a little wet on the boat ride. Also keep in mind when you order the food and drinks do take incredibly long to reach your table even if it’s just drinks you’re ordering. All and all it was a great experience but I really do wish there was more to keep you busy or entertained here We did meet some wonderful workers that made our stay great! Check in check out was fast and easy. The location was perfect. Our ground floor unit with garden was just amazing. A vacation experience provided by Dito, Aron and Rose changes it all to an over the top Holiday. A must having these 3 around during ant stay. Thank you Dito at the frontdesk for understanding our needs and making our wish come true in so many ways faster than lightning. Top notch atmosphere pool/beach provided by Aron making sure that our needs were more than met at all times. Aron thinks on his feet and puts himself in your shoes. Aron went over and beyond to assure we were served swiftly with a grand smile too. We wish we could take him with us haha. Rose at housekeeping is more than outstanding. Nothing is too much for her. A welcoming smile and superb service every single day. Never forgets a face. We will be back!

All around great experience. 5 stars maybe a touch high but 4 seems to low. My wife and I really enjoyed the location. Was it close to other great restaurants no. Learned how to use the bus system to travel near high rise resorts and restaurants. We live near beautiful beaches so having the seclusion and relative quiet of Flamingo Beach was perfect. Only had breakfast and few lunch/snacks at the hotel. Food was good but not exceptional. Best eats were Marina Pirata and Zeerover!

I was vacationing here in Aruba at the renaissance , and I decided to try the gym inside of the sister hotel across the street. I Met (Anouk) after my training session with someone else she took time to help assist me with exercises I can implement when I got back home as I stated that was my goal since I just started my fitness journey. she is an exceptional trainer! She created a welcoming environment, provided expert guidance, and knows exactly how to keep workouts effective and engaging. Thanks to her support and motivation, I’ve achieved goals I once thought were out of reach. When I visit Aruba again I will be scheduling more sessions while on vacation.

Loved staying here. Very close to the airport, the private island with flamingos is a delight (as is the boat ride to/from the island). We plan to go back for spring break 2027! Families here were mostly repeat visitors and very friendly. We hung out with them and our daughter now has pen pals! Very safe island - we have been to many Caribbean islands and this was by far our favorite. We did the all-inclusive option but that was not really necessary because there were many restaurants within walking distance and it was safe to leave. At the hotel, we liked the Italian restaurant and the steakhouse. The only thing that marred the experience was the incredibly aggressive birds at all the outdoor (or partially outdoor) restaurants. You needed to have plastic covers over your food while you were eating. I would love it if the hotel put up nets to keep the birds away from the food.
