Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort & Casino

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were nice and big and everything was spotless and clean. The morning breakfast was great. The hotel only has a small artificial beach and our small kids loved that. It was also safe and we could leave them without worries. The main purpose to visit here was the Iguana island, for which we had a cabana booked upfront. That day was the most relaxing day for our trip. We totally loved it. Stayed here for a couple of days and then went to another hotel on the palm beach. People at the hotel were amazing, neighbourhood is really nice with all sorts of great food options, and plenty of parking. And no grabbing of chairs - at least we saw plenty of chairs free at all the times. Checkout was at noon - which was perfect, because you can leave your bags with the bellboy in the storage room and go for lunch before heading to your next place. Flamingo Island / Iguana island are truly amazing with kids. The private beach there was not as crowded, and pretty shallow. Cabana's are expensive but totally worth it. The ones near the beach are pretty shallow such the small kids can easily walk. The one towards the end gets to be about 5-6 feet deep. Our elder kid knows how to swim, and our younger 3 year old does't, and just had a floatie. Because it's well protected, we felt safe at all time leaving them in the waters. Lots of kids on the iguana beach, and they all seem to have a blast. When we come back to Aruba, we would do this again - making the island a first stop of our trip.

The resort was clean and everyone was so friendly. We had absolutely no issues for the two weeks we were there. (Except the Casino was stingy) I would highly recommend this resort. There was one employee that went above and beyond. Emma who cleans the patios early in the mornings. We needed to find a pharmacy but couldn't quite understand the directions. So after she finished her job, she went and got permission to walk us to the pharmacy. On the way we got the history of the area. She could be a tour guide! She was able to communicate for us and we got what we needed. Everything worked out Great!

My family and I stay at four different timeshares one week after another week for the end of July through the through almost the end of August this is the worst place we have ever stayed at if it did not have Flamingo Islands this place would be a Motel 6 this place has no good customer service nobody that works here is friendly the atmosphere is like you were on a Carnival Cruise nothing is good about this place except for Flamingo Island if I could give this place a negative five I would

Emma is such a joy around the pool. She always has a smile to greet us and is such a pleasure to be around. So helpful and supportive with anything that comes along! She’s a valuable asset to Renaissance!!

Rosalba that works at Fresco, the hotel breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful! Very attentive and kind and we will absolutely be back to this resort and Fresco again!
