AluaSoul Sunny Beach

We were booked in on the 30th September we arrived at 9.30 in the evening when we got up on Wednesday we went for breakfast it was cold then we decided to go and have a look around the shops it was all closedown so we went back to hotel had lunch it was OK then we just sat around the bar all day then went for tea again it was cold then we just stayed in the bar not much choice of drinks I.e cocktails then from that day it all went down hill food was disgusting I would give it to a dog the weather didn't help as we had red alerts we had to stay in hotel and high up luckily we was on 5th floor we had to stay in for 2 days we spent most of our week in our room hotel itself was nice and clean the staff was friendly apart from the couple of cleaners didn't get to see the beach cus of the weather so disappointing couldn't book a day trip cus all excursion shops were closed so very disappointed about the hole holiday wont be returning anytime soon and forgot to mention the pool there was all seagull poo in it never once did I see anyone clean it

Having just spent a 2-week holiday in this hotel we can't understand why there have been so many negative comments made. Yes, there were a couple of little faults but reported to reception and were rectified within an hour. Food was repetitive but plenty of choice and always a dish of the day- a microwave is available for anyone to use if you require-little tip -don't put hot food on a cold plate there are plenty of hot plates available. The waiters and waitresses are always clearing the tables Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels- The bed was changed 3 times during our stay Ok, the cleaners don't speak English but with a little patience, you can communicate with them. The bar staff are all very friendly and helpful, constantly cleaning the bar area and tables. The reception staff were very polite and helpful with anything you needed i.e bottled water, borrow an Iron etc. The pool area is kept clean and tidy with a lifeguard on duty all of the time when the pools are open, and plenty of sunbeds for everyone Location is ideal for everyone. Lovely walks and plenty of shops around. We believe that the hotel is going to do a lot of maintenance and more upgrading over the winter months. Wouldn't have any worries about returning to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Sunny Beach Resort.

Food disgusting, cold, undercooked & unidentifiable. Cleaners only empty room bin, had to move room due to no hot water, absolutely NOT a 4* hotel. Advertised as adults only but permitted families with young kids to stay for 4 nights??? Techno music played all day at the pool, same song, different beat. Total hovel, book somewhere else! Ps: the manager advises those with late flights to leave a good review on tripadvisor in exchange for a late checkout extention, so most of these reviews may be just that, untruths!!

We really like this hotel !!! Its rooms are modern and spacious and we have had clean towels every day. Foodwise there is something for everyone, definitely can't go hungry here !!! loved my pancakes with bacon and honey in a morning!!! The restaurants and pool bar are very modern and look fab , 2 gorgeous pools with plenty of sun loungers and a well equipped gym . Haven't tried the spa but it looks lovely. Brilliant location with the beach just outside of the back gate . The night club is great but we thought the acts could be on abit longer. All in all we would definitely return!!

Nice hotel , food good selection , pool very nice , staff very helpful , location very good , decor very pleasant A few areas need improvement hotel are working hard to make this happen
