Just back from a lovely stay. Wished the weather had been better, but that's not the fault of the Effect Grand Victoria. Can not fault them for much to be honest. The hotel is spotless, and I mean that! The food was great, though I do wish it was a little hotter, especially the pizzas. Why they are served cold I will never understand. They would be AMAZING if served hot. Quality and quantity of the drinks, were spot on. I would like to have seen the coffee machine available at lunch and dinner in the buffet room though. Disappointed that the swim up bar was not in operation, however as it was so cold in the pool, this ended up not being a big deal for me as I only was able to get into the pool once. And last but by no means least, the staff! Fantastic! So friendly, kind, helpful, could not do enough for you, from the room assistants, to the reception staff and even the management team. They were just great. There was no animation team or entertainment available during our stay. This would have been appreciated given the weather. I am not sure why there was nothing put on. As a disabled traveller, I would like to share the following for anyone else that might be looking at the Effect Grand Victoria. Please note that I use a walking stick or walker and my comments are based solely on my experience. There is a ramp into the main lobby of the hotel. All dining facilities are located on the ground floor, no thresholds to cross. There are a number of different chair types, some with or without arms in all dining and seating areas. The pool is accessed via ladders. There is no gradual entry or accessible chair into the pool. The swim up bar was not available when I visited, which was a shame. I had researched and chose this hotel specifically for the swim up bar. It's lovely to be able to have the freedom to order and get my own drinks rather than having to rely on my husband which I would have been able to do if the swim up bar was open. The pool area along with the two pool area bars are accessed down three stairs. There is a ramp located just outside the main lobby doors which will give you access to the pool level. The ramp has a tight turning circle at the end, just need to be aware. Access to the beach is via the pool level and is all one level, again with no thresholds. There are 4 lifts, which are small but efficient, might be able to fit one person and a wheelchair. There are two disabled toilets in the main lobby. Unfortunately the locks on both of these were not working when I visited. The disabled toilet for the pool area is only accessible via 3 stairs, or by going through the main lobby and back out again, so you might as well use the main toilets if you are not able to use stairs. Again, the pool disabled toilet door locks were not working when I visited. If you are traveling with Jet2 be aware that the coach transfer drops you on the street and there is a short but level walk to the hotel lobby entrance. Rušno je, ale v 11 večer vše ztiší, i podnik naproti hudbu v 11 večer ztišuje o hooodně volume a je klidno. Security hotel hlídají. Opravdu luxusní dovolená.

Byli jsme v hotelu Grand Victoria v září 2017. Nebylo to přeplněné lidmi, uvolnili jsme se a bavili se a měli krásnou dovolenou. Jídlo je výborné, různé, tam byl bulharský večer v restauraci s typickým bulharským jídlem a velmi se nám to líbilo. Pokoje jsou pestré a naše byla s krásným výhledem na moře. Věc je také příjemná a zdvořilá. Budeme to doporucovat a definitivně se vrátíme.
Je to docela velký hotel přímo před pláží a nějaké navrácení by bylo opravdu nutné. V noci je typický hluk přicházející z barů a opilý mladík na promenádě, doporučím si, abych se podíval na vnitřní parkoviště. Plavecký bazén potřebuje brzy ráno boj, aby získal místo a je těžké vyhrát proti německým rodinám. Snídaně byla uspokojivá, i když ne všechny nápoje a káva byly přijatelné. Dobrá destinace pro nízký rozpočet bez velkého zklamání.
