Hotel Festa Panorama

2 weeks here, animation team excellent., bar staff great Food good /ok One staff member per bar so very long que and wait times Cleaners nice friendly. Reception woman Maria or milena older lady glasses absolutely horrible atatude One morning shouting at a old lady for putting a towel at 6am Although maybe 50 towels already there nothing said because same nationality. Every family I spoke to had negative impressions of her All said she just angry and nasty Life guard is basically an old drunk man , seen him screaming at people and kicking people's inflatables around he doesn't speak English so he just shouting. At reception they have luggage guys but they must stand 12hr in full uniform including jacket Look like they going to collapse due to heat. We will never return

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday. We were a large group of 3 families. At first, I found the daytime entertainment rather loud, but i found myself enjoying the entertainment and the animation team. A special shout out to Ivan and Lea. Your English is excellent, thank you for your entertainment. I enjoyed the morning stretch and shuffle board at the end of the day. The pool bar barman and snack bar lady were polite and friendly even though they were very busy. There were occasional queues, but they didn't take long, and the barman ensured that no one pushed in, which I was grateful for. As we were a big group, we had to get up early to get sunbeds together. We did not have any dietary requirements and found there to be a good variety of food. The dining hall did get busy, but if you go to breakfast before 9am, there are no queues. Thank you for allowing us to use your facilities for the day on our day of departure. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Festa Panorama. We ate out only twice because there is so much choice of food. You did have to queue for a few minutes for the freshly cooked meats and for the freshly cooked pancakes at breakfast. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Fresh salads, breads, icecream, cakes, pizzas, various meats and great chips! Just a lack of good fresh fish but the salmon one day was excellent. The whole place is extremely well looked after and clean. The grounds are pretty and the gardening was done everyday. The pool bins were changed frequently and staff cleared away cups left by my some people. The room was cleaned everyday and beds made. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The snack bar lady Tamara worked hard all day and cooked and served chips, toasties and hot dogs - all were tasty. The pool barman also lovely. We also found the inside bar staff to be friendly and got to know our drinks orders. Eva was so lovely. The entertainment team were fantastic. Yes the 10am loud music and dancing with the plan for the day was surprising at first but became part of the fun. Our group joined in various activities like the gymnastics (yoga/stretching), volleyball, aqua, shuffle board and darts. The team also ran some of the shows in the evening and I found them very funny and entertaining. We would be greeted by name and chatted to everyday. Lea was so lovely, smiley and friendly and so professional leading all her classes. The rest of the entertainment team were great too. Ivan also took time to chat to us with good English as did Zlaty and Alex. Old Nessebar is a beautiful place. You can walk there in 20 minutes or get a bus (€1.60) or little train (€4). It’s a lovely old town with many historic sites/churches and we did the tour map you can get from tourist information 100m from hotel. We also walked around the outside and there are lovely seaviews from all directions and gorgeous bars. The ferry across to Svety Vlas was nice and it’s a pretty harbour with classy beach club and some good restaurants. We then got the bus back. Some of our group went to the waterpark and said it was one of the best they’ve been to. And they also enjoyed the safari. The reception staff were always great, allocating us rooms next to eachother on a high floor as I’d requested and once we had checked out told me to enjoy the food and facilities all day until we left at 7pm. They also called house keeping and located a small comb that my daughter had realised must of got left in her room. Thank you Festa Panorama for a wonderful time staying at your very well run, clean, fun hotel.

We have just returned from a family holiday at Festa Panorama in Nessebar, Bulgaria. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and well maintained, but unfortunately there were far too many issues during our stay for us to consider returning or recommending it. Food and drinks The food was extremely repetitive and there was very little choice for vegetarians. Both my daughter and I are vegetarian, and we often struggled to find suitable meals. The 24-hour snack bar was also disappointing. Late at night there was often little or no food available, and the sandwiches that were available had no vegetarian option. They were also extremely dry, with no butter. The pool bar snacks were bland and, overall, the food really needs more variety and better consideration for guests with different dietary requirements. Staff and atmosphere Sadly, one of the biggest disappointments was the overall atmosphere and the attitude we experienced from some members of staff and some other guests. There were a small handful of genuinely lovely staff members, but on several occasions we felt very uncomfortable because of the way some staff and some other guests behaved towards us. Some guests were speaking languages other than English and we experienced repeated staring and what appeared to be muttering amongst themselves when we were nearby. It left us feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome as English guests. We also felt that some members of staff appeared much warmer towards other foreign guests than towards us. I cannot say what nationality those guests were, and I certainly would not suggest that everyone behaved this way, but the repeated staring and behaviour from some guests contributed to us feeling singled out and uncomfortable. The language barrier with some members of staff also became a serious problem when we needed assistance. My fall and disability I have Multiple Sclerosis and suffer from weakness on my left side and foot drop. One evening, while watching the entertainment outside, I had to walk some distance to reach the toilets and bar. My left leg gave way and I fell over a sunbed. I was badly bruised on both legs, my shoulder and the side of my face. Security immediately rushed over and escorted me back to my room. However, because of the language barrier, they did not understand that I have a disability and I was made to feel as though they thought I was drunk. This was extremely embarrassing and upsetting. I would have expected a little more understanding and care when someone has clearly suffered a fall. My son’s injury My 12-year-old son also injured his heel on a sharp piece sticking out from the bottom of his bed. My 19-year-old daughter went to reception to report this and ask for a plaster. She was initially given two plasters. The following day, when my son removed the plaster, his heel was still bleeding, so my daughter had to return to reception to ask for more. The gentleman serving her was polite and asked whether two plasters would be enough. My daughter explained that she would appreciate a few more. At this point, Maria on reception intervened and quite aggressively told her that there was a two-plaster limit because they had limited supplies. The way this was handled was completely unnecessary. My daughter was simply trying to get basic first aid for her younger brother and walked away shocked and upset by Maria’s attitude. The final night By our final evening, we had honestly had enough of the atmosphere and the way we felt we had been treated. As a family, we decided to have dinner and then return to our room and watch the evening entertainment from our balcony instead. My youngest son is three years old and extremely energetic. Later that evening, we received a phone call to our room. My 12-year-old answered and I could hear someone asking his age and the age of my youngest son, so I took over the call. We were told that reception had received a report from another guest claiming that our three-year-old was alone in the room and that they were concerned he might fall from the balcony. We were obviously concerned about this allegation, so I went down to reception. We were all actually together on the balcony at the time. When we questioned how the other guest could possibly have known our room number, Maria told us that the guest had “counted” to find our room. When we tried to explain that this didn’t make sense, given that our room number was three digits, Maria became defensive. When we pointed out that this wasn’t the first time we had found her manner unprofessional, she simply said, “I speak normal,” and then started serving another guest while we were still trying to speak to her. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that there wasn’t one available. At this point, we genuinely felt that we had been repeatedly singled out and simply wanted someone to listen to our concerns. Check-out Even check-out left us disappointed. The blonde lady who had checked us in initially asked for our room number. When I answered in English, her smile changed and she began muttering something in Bulgarian. We were then asked to remove our wristbands. Check-out was at 11am and our transfer wasn’t until 9:30pm, so we explained that we would obviously need access to the hotel facilities during the day. It felt as though we were being treated differently again. Entertainment and service The entertainment was also very disappointing. There did not appear to be enough staff, with waiting staff and bar staff frequently having to multitask, which affected the service. Overall, the entertainment was not what we expected from an all-inclusive holiday. Overall It is such a shame because the hotel itself is beautiful, clean and well maintained, and there are a small number of lovely staff members who deserve recognition. Unfortunately, those positives were not enough to outweigh our overall experience. For us, a holiday is about feeling welcomed, comfortable and respected. We did not feel that way here. Sadly, we would not recommend Festa Panorama and would not return.

The hotel was amazing the rooms where fabulous and the atmosphere was amazing and the entertainment was amazing definitely come to festa panorama (My favourite entertainer was zelottie she was kind and welcoming to the hotel )
