My partner and I booked a 7-night all-inclusive holiday at Sunny Beach Club but, unfortunately, decided to cut our stay at the hotel short, leaving after just two nights and moving to a different hotel. We have booked a number of all-inclusive package holidays over the years, and based on our experience, we did not feel that this hotel met the standard we would expect of a 4-star property (Jet2 rates it as 3-star-plus). We arrived at around 10pm and were warmly greeted by a lovely lady on reception. The downstairs lobby was modern and fresh, although it was quite deserted when we arrived and the music was extremely loud. As we made our way to our room, we were surprised by the black-painted corridors. The darkness was quite a contrast to the bright, modern lobby and made the corridors feel rather dingy and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, our room did not feel particularly clean and the bathroom appeared to be only partially finished. More significantly, the music we had heard downstairs was just as loud from our room, even with the balcony doors closed. We had read previous reviews mentioning noise until around 11pm, but as we are usually awake beyond 11pm while on holiday, we did not initially expect this to be a major issue. However, the volume was far beyond what we had anticipated. It wasn't simply music that could be heard within the hotel — it appeared to be being played loudly across the surrounding area. The music generally continued from around 8pm until 11pm, which covers a large part of the evening after dinner. We found ourselves spending much of this time trying to get away from the noise rather than relaxing and enjoying the hotel. There were no quiet areas of the hotel between 8pm and 11pm every evening. On one evening, we actually went to the other side of the resort to sit and play cards because we found the noise around the hotel too disruptive. My partner also recorded the sound level on his phone, which reached over 110 decibels. For context, exposure to noise above 85 decibels for prolonged periods generally requires hearing protection, so the level we experienced felt exceptionally loud. The noise wasn't limited to the evening music either. The walls appeared quite thin, and we were regularly woken during the night by people walking and talking in the corridors, as well as cleaners moving trolleys around in the early hours. We only ate three meals at the hotel during our short stay — breakfast, lunch and dinner — and unfortunately found the food quite bland and lacking in variety. There appeared to be relatively few options available, and we did not feel that the restaurant area was particularly well maintained or clean. Plates were not cleared regularly, which attracted wasps, and there was no table service for drinks; everything was self-service. Another point worth being aware of is that the all-inclusive service ends at 11:30am on the day of checkout. Had we remained for the full seven nights, this would have meant having to purchase our own food and drinks for part of our final day. Given that we also arrived late in the evening on our first day, we felt that we would have effectively lost a significant amount of our all-inclusive time. After our first night and breakfast, we decided that we would be happier and more relaxed moving to another hotel. I always hate leaving negative reviews, particularly when staff have been pleasant, but we ultimately felt that the hotel was not what we had expected from its description and rating. We did raise our concerns with reception, and they were accommodating and offered to move us to a room that did not face the music or beach. The staff throughout our short stay were friendly and helpful, and we genuinely cannot fault them. However, we felt that the music was only one part of a wider issue with the overall experience, so we decided that moving hotels was the right decision for us. We are very glad that we did despite spending the majority of our second day at the hotel on the phone to Jet2 sorting the hotel move. It is such a shame, as we had a lovely trip to Bulgaria in 2023 when we stayed at a different hotel and had a completely different experience. As a side note, we also noticed that the cost of things in and around Sunny Beach and Nessebar has increased significantly since our previous visit. Cocktails along the Sunny Beach strip now cost around the same as they do back home, which was quite a surprise!

First time to Bulgaria, friends had recommended but what a disappointment. If you are a Vegan there is hardly any choice for food, even if you are a meat eater the food is the same selection at every restaurant. The same meals just different prices. As for the hotel, the downstairs is beautifully done but they seem to have forgotten about the upstairs. Pitch black corridors with sensored lights. High steps that try to trip you up daily. Miserable and unhelpful staff, so difficult to get a smile or conversation out of them. The only friendly people were the manager and cleaners who were lovely. Unfortunately we wouldn't go back to Bulgaria again and i would have a look at the reviews before booking your holiday here.

This hotel having visited last year has absolutely gone down hill. with it being in the euro now the taxi drivers at hotel are taking advantage and trying to charge 20 euro to main flower one way . 60 euro to airport which is double on previous year . the hotel all inclusive drinks list is terrible cheapest vodka and whiskey and worst 3 cocktails with more ice in them than any alcohol .also the food is terrible choice is the worst greasy and no taste . late checkouts they will cut your all inclusive band off and charge you extra 70 euros and extra 40 for food so wouldnt advise that if you have a late flight. they charged my freind extra 50 euro for 4 hrs. staff are rude and abrupt. management have worst attitude ive seen .
