HM Bavaro Beach

I loved everything about my stay, was able to book an excursion day of. Staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. I want to return soon.

The worst hotel I have been in my life ,for the following reasons : 1-Hotel is not adults only as mentioned , there was a lot of kids as photos attached. 2-the noise of the doors slamming strongly by other people in the hotels was so noisy at night time you keep waking up. 3-have to have cash in this hotel as cards not accepted some places and beach area , 4-Hard to find someone speak English in this place not as mentioned in their page. 5-nobody offer any bottle of wine per stay as mentioned when I booked my reservation it should be available in the room upon arrival , didn't get anything !!! 6- The most important part the beach is very dirty and full of dust and brown water not as photos they are using in Expedia , I have attached some photos as well , had to book another trip by trip advisor to go to beautiful beach outside. 7- they big surprises when a friend I know there we met the day before in saona island was coming to visit me for a drink in the hotel they asked for 50$ fees , what's that for !!!??? To use the facilities I don't know what facilities the dirty beach or the poor service!!! 8-they mentioned that 24/7 front desk but unfortunately that's not true as well , the only couple of times I needed to talk to them as my air condition in the room stopped working last couple of days and I got no answer , I used the fan. 8-bed sheet was smelly last 3 days I removed them stopped using them because I started itching badly. by the way I have tried to cancel from day one but they refused to refund me that's what the email I received from Expedia as they contacted them , so I said let me finish this trip will try not to stay here only for sleeping purposes and that's what happened , hopefully this was useful to some people o don't usually do such a review but I really was surprised. If it happened and you come here I only recommend the 5th floor restaurant and pool other than this it's not worth it. Finally when they decide to respond to my review in Google they start with lies and being unprofessional to excuse their failure , they assume that I did this because I can with 2 girls to the hotel and they refused to let them in unless we pay for the hotel and I got so aggressive , (that's what they said) but from here I'm saying non of this happened and as hotel you must have a cameras system , so I was just there at your hotel , if you prove what you mentioned about me with video I'm from here in front of the world I'm ready to apologize and pay the hotel ONE MILLION U.S dollars I don't think this is hard for you , if you are honest with what you mentioned about me.

Reception service and Johanna are the best!

Reception service is the best.

This resort was peaceful and in a really convenient area. Our first night the room wasn’t the best but the manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was good. The only feedback I would give is if they can make the restaurant inclusive like their neighbouring resort Whala Bavaro
