A great week spent at this resort Sept. 6-13. Resort is new, modern and compact so no long walks between rooms and facilities. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and bathroom nicely equipped. We lived on the 3rd floor but each building has an elevator. Beach (very wide and clean) and ocean were absolutely fantastic. There are two pools that are separated. One organizes pool activities, foam party and fun for everyone while the other one is more quiet but still enjoyable. Swim up bar is fuly separated and fairly small but enough to have a drink. Food was great at the buffet and snack bar. Variety was excellent. Fruits and salads were fresh and sooooo tasty. Didn't go to a la carte so can't report on them. Now, to the people that always make resorts unforgetable. Don't have names of two brothers that led the party on the boat excursion. Unbelievable energy, smiles and fun on the water with music and dancing. Recommend it for sure. All the people that keep the resort beutiful and clean. THANK YOU Two people that definitely stuck in our memories forever are Antonio at the buffet and Geraldo. Antonio was very attentive and kind everyday and spotted us before we could even find him. Great guy and kudos to him for his great service. THANK YOU And last but not least is a gentelman named Geraldo. Let me tell you. He made us feel like celebrities. He acted before words were spoken. Made time to chat and laugh with us and was just a perfect host. In my opinion the hotel should be named Viva Miches by Geraldo. Love you Brother. We will visit again.

We stayed at this location in September of 2026. Our stay was absolutely incredible. We fell in love with the resort and staff. There are definitely things to consider before deciding to book. For us, we would absolutely jump at the chance to return. The main thing I would tell people to consider before booking is their personal mastery of the Spanish language. The area around this resort is still very rural. Not many employees were fluent in English. (French may get you farther than English). My Spanish gets me around Mexico, but the accent is very different in the Dominican. The staff was wildly accepting of the predicaments we found ourselves in because of the language barrier. If you plan on visiting a resort in a Spanish speaking country and demand that the staff speak to you exclusively in English, though, this is not the place for you. If you are willing to be a little confused at times and be respectful of their culture, you’ll do well. The staff were incredible. They really went above and beyond for guests who were respectful and generous. We visited the Members Bar, which was incredible and featured a rooftop pool. I asked the bartender, Catalina, if I could have a smoothie. There was not a blender at that bar, so I ordered a different drink. We were lounging in the pool when Catalina brought me a smoothie. She had brought a blender up to the bar and mixed me an off menu drink. She continued to bring us new drinks as soon as we finished ours without any prompting. She truly made our stay unique and memorable. Because the location is very rural, there is not much opportunity for shopping nor buying necessities outside of the resort. It is about a 90 minute drive from the Punta Cana airport. The nearest city, Miches, does not have many tourist spots. The taxis in this area are very expensive. We didn’t mind this as there was plenty to do at the resort, and pretty much anything we needed to buy could be purchased at the resort gift shop (at a markup ofcourse). The resort itself was very beautiful. The rooms were modern and very clean. The beds were a tad small if you are width challenged as we are. They were comfortable, though. The beach was beautiful. There was white sand, calm waters, and no seaweed. It was perfect for daily beach walks. It was not crowded at all. We were actually able to secure chairs on the beach at noon. This may be due to the resort being very new. The food was heavenly. Most of the options at the buffet featured pork as the meat. There were about six different kinds of pork every morning for breakfast. Every morning had incredibly fresh bacon. The buffet was very good, but the a la carte restaurants stole the show. There is a hibachi option at the Asian Fusion restaurant. It rivaled the best hibachi restaurants in the US. As someone who doesn’t like sushi, the sushi was divine. Our favorite restaurant was the Latin Fusion restaurant. Felipe helped me organize a birthday cake for dinner that night. He was incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff was amazingly energetic and put on quite a show when they brought the cake out. It was incredibly memorable. Overall, our stay was wildly different than we expected, and we loved it so much. Please treat the area and the staff with the respect they deserve for welcoming you into their lives. We will be back, Miches.

The NRG2GO yoga instructor was very proficient and knew her stuff. I’m so grateful that I could do yoga on vacation under the palm trees. A memory I will treasure!
