Felix Hotel Olbia

No wonder this hotel gets great reviews. It’s got everything - lovely rooftop bar and small plunge pool, nice rooms and above all great staff. We wished we had stayed longer than our 2 nights. We stayed half board and had some of the best food we’ve eaten in Sardinia. Breakfast was delicious too. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Lovely hotel! 20 minute walk from centre of Olbia. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes you to airport ( 20 mins ) and local beach. Also there is a train station near by which travels around the island as I do recommended a car ideally but the train is a great budget option! 🚗🚖 Very modern rooms, mini fridge which is stocked some things for purchase but reasonable prices. Clean and spacious The bed is the comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in ( no exaggeration ! 🛌 Toiletries are restocked daily 🧴 Breakfast is a solid 9/10 only note is that coffees are served at drinking temperature so be quick before it goes cold! 🥐 Pool areas very clean and nice to sit by. Lots of eateries on the same street at hotel, also Lidl is a 10 min walk for good snacks ! Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to see you soon PS. Yes Sardinia is expensive …. But it is 100% worth it and this hotel will help !

Best breakfast ive had in a hotel , so clean and staff very friendly and helpful . The rooftop pool was super relaxing and the everything very clean

We had a lovely few days stay in the Felix Olbia. We were a party of 12 (family aging 25 - 80) an 80th birthday. The facilities at Felix are excellent with rooftop pool ideal for relaxing, having a drink or food and another garden pool with more shade and depth to swim. Public areas are comfortable and breakfast is magnificent with many choices, hot, cold sweet and savoury- all served in a very bright and stylish restaurant. Bedrooms are well appointed, large, good balcony areas and the best pillows I have ever slept on. The air conditioning is very good throughout and even in 35-40 degree heat all areas of the hotel are chilled. But all of these things pale against the first class staff who are friendly, helpful and professional. They made our stay memorable and were always ready to suggest ways to make things easier.

I highly recommend the beautiful Felix Hotel in Olbia for your stay in Sardinia - this hotel is simply outstanding . The service, the cleanliness, the food and the friendliness of the staff put this hotel in Sardinia well above most hotels . We stayed here at the end of August to celebrate an 80th birthday with a family group of 10 before 5 of us hired a yacht for a week in nearby Portisco Marina. The hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating, moving tables at breakfast time into a private area for our birthday breakfast together. The breakfast alone was worth booking our accommodation here. I don’t usually have cake for breakfast but I couldn’t resist the delicious patisserie on offer along with a wide selection of fruit and nuts , yogurts, cheese and cold meats , pastries, pancakes and cooked breakfast. The service on the roof top bar was excellent and extremely attentive for our large group which enabled us to spend time together lounging in the pool with stunning views across Olbia. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with very good air con and large balconies. The location in Olbia suited us very well with bus stop right next to the hotel and a 30min walk home along well lit road later on. There are also restaurants right opposite the hotel if you do not want to go into town. It was also excellent for our taxi to the yacht hire in Portisco Marina on the north east coast of Sardinia. We hired a car and had a beach day with half the group opting to take the direct bus to Porto Rotundo. The staff kindly let us borrow beach brollies and mats and take beach towels out which saved us a lot of money hiring beach beds and brollies at the beach . The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really was outstanding and as someone who ran a business in tourism, I would congratulate them on the training and ethos of staying at a Felix hotel. We will be sure to book one of the group at other locations as it’s clear this hotel group puts the customer first. Thank you all for helping us make my father’s 80th birthday so special in Sardinia.
