Futura Club Cala Fiorita

On arrival had to wait 6 hours to check in - no towel given to swim or any info on hotel ! Rooms very tired and holes in bedding and towels. Bring your own swim towel as charge £5 to change over. Bring your own toilet roll as never any in hotel toilets. Water station always empty so have to buy bottles. Food ok but repetitive and never enough put out. Don’t expect to watch any of the 100 tv channels as none in English. On the positive the entertainment team are great and pool area lovely as well as the beach just needs some attention to detail in all areas and a refurb as could be a great place. Shout out to Alessandro and Giovanini who were great.

Love holidays and Futura Club Cala Fiorita Sardinia 2 weeks June 2026 (still here) Upon arrive our room wasn’t ready which was to be expected. Our passport had been kept by the receptionist, we’d get them back when we checked in. Pointed to a desk to get our all inclusive wrist bands. (Or not so inclusive as we arnt French or Italian) We hadn’t been shown around the place and left to rend for ourselves. I local rep came to use said . Leave your suit cases and go to lunch, no guidance or assistance from the hotel. Let we returned to reception to enquire about our room. We hadn’t been given room 109, I tried to get our passports back and had been given German ones ( 2 males at that) eventually after a few goes at guess the passport we got ours back and went to our room. When we entered room 109 to say that we’d been extremely disappointed was an understatement. The cleanliness of the room and the repairs would not be something we would have expected on arrival. 1. Front door handle off centred, and should have pre-warned us of what to have expected inside the room. 2. Only 3 coat hangers in wardrobe, had then reported to reception and 1 hour later still none arrived. 3. Inside wardrobe drawer broken. 4. Wardrobe door broken and split. 5. Door to fridge cabinet broken. 6. Mastic around bidet unit very poor. 7. Inspection pannel in washroom wall crocked and mastic again very poor finish. 8. Inside shower unit hard water marks down unit wall. 9. Outside shower seal architrave, hanging off not secure and mastic very poor finish. 10. Washroom door architrave fitted poorly and not finished. 11. Inside washroom ceilings cracked. 12. Inside washroom ceiling cobwebs and dead insects. 13. Toilet mastic very poor finish. 14. General cleanliness of the room very poor and unsatisfactory for new occupancy. After an hour of waiting for the hangers I decided to go to reception to complain about the issues. Eventually I spoke with a lady called Paulia. After describing what was wrong I had agreed to go and look at another room. Room 225. Upon entry to room 225 it was evidently cleaner than the previously room until closer inspection. 1. Right hand bedside cabinet was too close to the wardrobe to allow the wardrobe door to be opened. Once the cabinet was moved to allow the wardrobe door to be opened, the horror of a pair of ladies used underwear was reveiled. 2. In the bunk bed room above the air con unit a birds nest was visible. 3. This four man room only has one chair outside it on the patio. The previous room a two man room had four chairs. Not reported the Difficult to open mould bedside drawers Constantly running toilet We decided that at least this room was at least a little cleaner and in a better state of repair. We moved rooms and handed back to Paulia. I showed her the evidence attached. She agreed to address the birds nest, the outside chair and the underwear ( which we had already placed in the room bin). I had also been requested to supply these images. On day one of successful all inclusive drinks. When going to bar to get pool side drinks was refused by a new barman it was explained that our UK all inclusive package kicked in at 2030hours. The 0900 package was only for Italian and French Guests. After a few days of toing and frowing with Love Holidays we found out our sold all inclusive is only for meal times and as dictated to be the hotel and out of their hand and as compensation we’d be given £136.60 as total final settlement for the poor room allocation/cleanliness. This our holiday was due to take place last year for a week in September. Due to my wives ill health it had to be delayed until now and we had both agreed to also extend it for a week. Sadly we feel this might have been a wrong decision. Cleanliness and the state of the room is not what we had expected when we had paid in excess of £3000 for the holiday excluding flights. Our experience hasn’t been that enjoyable and put a dampener on the whole holiday. Wouldn’t recommend Hotel Futura Club Cala Fiorita Sardinia to anyone. Staff understandable don’t have English laungue as advertised. Hotel reminded me of the bad reports you see and hear about Butlins back home. Definitely not a 4Star Hotel from our experience. Entertainments all in Italian no translation. Food not really as advertised on sites more hot/cold buffet conveyer belt food. I’ve been in the UK Armed forces for 24 years and seen and eaten better from some pretty dismal places around the world. Love holidays not been very helpful. Please read your small print if you do book with them especially all inclusive as it’s down to the hotel and not love holidays to rectify if anything goes wrong. Only positive is the friendly barman Giovanni… who’s tried to raise our spirits

terrible terrible terrible unfriendly staff do not good your English as they cater for Italians and French only website states entertainment but it’s all in Italian or French when I asked reception they said no only Italian French rooms was shabby and I walked in to stains on my sheets restaurant always same dry food you can only get tea or coffee at breakfast for lunch and dinner they turn them off overpriced bar drinks and watered down the entertainment staff that put a show on every evening pretend to play the piano with their trousers down and you can guess the rest not approved for kids the activities reps in reception don’t understand English so cannot book any trips

This hotel is falsely advertised as a 4 Star in our opinion in reality it would meet a 1 star. The hotel is scruffy, unkempt and dated. The rooms had wires hanging from light fittings and mould around the shower area. The restaurant area was awful with tables covered in dirty plates. Staff were oblivious to the mess and had to be asked to clear tables so guests could sit to eat their meals. In addition it seemed staff including management were not trained in hospitality. Food was buffet style and many of the dishes were not labeled which was a health risk for anyone with allergies. My husband is diabetic and we had to speak with the manager numerous times as there were no sugar free soft drinks included in the all inclusive menu!! I then witnessed the hotel director and the bar manager have an argument about our requirement in front of other hotel guests. The final straw was having been advised by Love holidays to speak with the hotel manager about our concerns, we had a meeting in his office, only for him to become angry and aggressive in front of our special needs foster son. We did the only thing we could which was to walk away from the situation and make another call to Love Holidays to explain we now felt unsafe to stay. A totally awful experience and I urge do not book to stay at this hotel.
