Hotel Pedra Santa

The Hotel is well situated and has wonderful views from some rooms and the terrace. During our stay there were few other guests and the staff seemed bored and uncaring. Some occupied loungers around the pool, chatting on their phones, while others played on the pool table. The rooms and hotel in general are not 4 star but tired, dirty in places and need repair. The website does give a better impression than it is in reality. The rooms are not well insulated and you can hear noise from other rooms and corridors. It certainly is not worth the cost that is being charged. Despite the high price for the room, there is an additional charge for any extra towels used by the pool. The breakfast is limited and staff seemed uninterested. When sitting on our terrace, trying to enjoy a quite evening, all we could hear was the staff playing on the pool table with no consideration to the paying guests. We ate in the hotel one night but the food was basic and overpriced. One of the staff, Mateo, the barman was very attentive and chatty and we enjoyed his company on occasion. We did not enjoy staying at this hotel and at one point we seriously considered moving.

My experience at Hotel Pedra Santa was lovely, thanks also to the receptionist..I think her name was Michelle. She welcomed me to the hotel very warmly and was always available, unlike the other girl who checked me and my group in, who was very odd throughout the entire stay. ​On the other hand, the other receptionist always had a smile on her face, spoke impeccable English, and even helped a colleague of mine with some personal matters. She was so sweet, polite, welcoming, and lovely with everyone. Honestly, she made my stay at the hotel very pleasant. She mentioned she was new and didn't know how to do certain things yet, but what I saw was a young woman who worked hard. ​As for the rest, the hotel has its flaws, and many of the staff members are unfriendly and rude, but not her,she felt like a ray of sunshine. It was a pleasant stay overall, and I want to thank whoever hired her, otherwise I would have left a terrible review. The other receptionist had terrible English, didn't smile, and came across as very unfriendly at first impression... The tall guy with glasses, despite his English, was very polite and a pleasure to deal with. I can honestly say that thanks to that sweet little receptionist, my stay was wonderful. Usually, hotel receptionists are unfriendly, like that one ahahaha, but I must say that even when she wasn't on shift, she managed to sort out a few situations. She is very capable definitely a great addition to a hotel full of unfriendly staff. I give 5 stars for the lovely receptionist

Trendy young easy fun authentic incredible vibe. If you want to experience an easy going hotel with an incredible power that's the place.
