AF Valle Orotava

We have recently returned from this hotel. The hotel is very nice, and the staff very friendly. It's location is very good, close to the seafront and bus station. The breakfast and dinner menus were quite extensive, and the food was very tasty too. The one issue I had was at breakfast. There is an egg chef, but it's either fried eggs, or omelette every other day, not both, and no poached eggs. A minor issue, really. There are two pools on the roof, one heated, one not. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit this area. The area is very hilly, with some hotels on big hills which could be a problem for some people. This hotel was very handily placed although there are small hills to/from the seafront, but quite easily managed.

Hotel location excellent and a few minutes walk into the old town. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Big let down was breakfast. Luke warm food and the juices in the machine all tasted the same and full of sugar. I would say this would be a 5star review if food was hot and fresher. That said we had a good stay and the rooms were well equipped with very comfortable beds. If you want to hire pool towels you will need cash which is refundable at the end of your stay

Atmopshere dull. The location Puerto De La Cruz is lovely. The room Far too hot and the room I got wasn't the one I expected. Food - evening meals very good. one of the Pools good. the bedding wasn't changed in two weeks, as far as i was concerened. The Water from the shower wsa coming into the main bathroom. dangerous. Very Noisey - Pool rooms. Nine Hours waiting to Get the room safe opened terrible. Luckly i manged to open it myself long before that. Clean Hotel not at all. Won't ever come back to this hotel.

Yesterday I arrived and got the wrong room. Apparently it's not guaranteed. People in the next room loud. And still in the restaurant as I'm trying to eat 'would I like a drink ' they need to start listening to me.
