Great hotel! Would definitely recommend. LOCATION- Close to the airport. About 20 mins away. This does mean you hear aeroplanes and they fly relatively low past the hotel. Our kids loved this. It didn't feel like it was really noisy though. In fact, this is a very quiet hotel. There's not a lot of noise at all. There's not much going on around the hotel so is definitely more suitable for those with families or who aren't wanting to go out drinking all the time. There is a shop 5 mins walk and there is a restaurant/bar opposite this shop. It is also only 20 mins in a taxi to Siam park, los cristianos and las Americas. The reception desk ring for taxis for you, although a little pricey, we did this twice and both times cost us approximately 60euros return each time. There is a golf course out the back of the hotel too. Really relaxed area. There is a shop inside the hotel with a few pieces but there is a hyperdino supermarket very close which is cheaper and lots more options. The apartments have microwaves and ovens with a freezer too so we bought pizzas, chips, salad etc to eat round the pool or on our terrace. THE HOTEL- Very new and modern. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Always clean. Only thing I wish there was a full length mirror. You can slide a sign on your door to say if you want your room cleaning or not. The pool is great. People don't go down too early and don't stay in really late either. There is a small baby pool and the main pool isn't very deep. I'm just over 5ft and could reach the bottom the whole way round. There is a lifeguard there daily too and there are poolside toilets. You also get cards to receive towels daily for round the pool. Plenty of beds and never a rush to find a bed. We went in October so can't say what this is like in peak summer. We had a poolside terrace which I would highly recommend. Was lovely being able to walk in and out your room for the fridge while at the pool. There is a pool bar as well with table service from your sun lounger scanning a bar code. Food is things like burgers and chips. Breakfast wasn't that great. Felt like it could of done with a bit more choice and service was a bit hit and miss in terms of them clearing tables and coming to take orders if you wanted eggs. There was also an upstairs terrace with a bar but we never saw the bar open. There was a games room for the kids too. It was relatively basic with air hockey and pool table but was nice to have the option to play for the older kids for a bit. I do feel some seating was needed around this area though. There was also a gym with treadmill, rower, weights, bike and yoga mats. Overall we really liked this hotel. It was perfect for a chilled week away with the kids and we would come back again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Family of four (mum, dad and two teenage daughters) in a two bedroom apartment, self catering. Apartment was modern and very clean (we could have had cleaners everyday if we so wished) Kitchen area great with essentials for making breakfast and light lunches and a Nespresso coffee machine. Loved the outside balcony space too. Double bedroom large with ensuite and whilst the twin room was small it served its purpose and was great that there was another toilet and shower. We ate and drank at the pool bar and food and service was always great. There is a small shop nearby which was great for some essentials. We didn't eat in the restaurant but spoke to others who had breakfast and said it was really good. There is a chill out bar (closed when we were in February) but we would walk along with a glass of wine and watch the planes come in to land. The plane noise never bothered us during the day or at night. There was work being done across the road, but it didn't disturb us at all. Great value for such a lovely modern clean apartment with added bonus of pool bar and restaurant onsite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are looking to book for October this year too.
Excellent stay in this new complex. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception staff looked genuinely happy to help which is a change from my recent stay at the Royal for Del Sur complex, earlier this month. I will define return to Amarilla golf residences. The apartments are great. Well equipped, modern and very clean. The pool was large and heated. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
What a wonderful place. The hotel is housed in a modern building that is finished to perfection and kept absolutely spotless. Everything exudes quality and attention to detail, from the architecture to the smallest touches. The location is ideal: set in a quiet area, far from the noisy southern part of the island, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything the island has to offer. For golfers, this is a dream — the course is literally right next door. For those who prefer to explore, it’s equally perfect: close to the airport without any aircraft noise, and near the motorway, making the south, the central region around Mount Teide, and the lush north all easily accessible. If you choose to stay at the hotel, you can enjoy modern facilities such as a spacious heated pool or a fully equipped fitness centre, with the added treat of a stunning sea view. And as the cherry on top, there is a top‑class restaurant connected to the hotel. In short, a recommendation on every level.
Just returned from a fabulous stay at the beautiful Amarillo Golf Residences. The apartment was spotless and cleaned to a high standard every day. All staff were professional and always smiling. Pool area was gorgeous with lots of well thought out plants and greenery. Had a few evening meals in the onsite restaurant which were excellent. We will definitely be returning.
