Melia Jardines del Teide

We stayed in an Ocean View Suite with The Level experience and it was worth every penny. The Level pool is so peaceful and quiet with complimentary water, juice and fresh fruit. Breakfast in The Level lounge was excellent every morning - hot cooked options plus a huge buffet. We loved dinner at Pico Negro, the sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. The main buffet is also lovely, definitely worth waiting for an outside table for those incredible ocean views. The hotel is immaculate and all the staff are so friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Sylvia for being so kind and helpful. Lying by the pool on our last day and already looking at dates for next year!

Lovely hotel, we chose to upgrade to the level after seeing the photos of the pool however , by the time we were due to go the pool had been fixed. If I went again I would bother with the level, you get a separate check in but when we arrived there wasn’t a queue in the main reception but ended up waiting at the level so would have been quicker not to have gone to the level (not that it was a problem as we weren’t in a rush) the room was lovely with a nice view , next time I would just up grade to a sea view as this was the only thing we benefited from as the level pool wasn’t as nice as the main pool (either in the shade in the morning or afternoon) and beds were quite close together and always full so you couldn’t move to avoid shade so we only used this once. We tried the level for breakfast but there wasn’t as much choice as the main restaurant and they forgot the toast with my poached eggs and despite asking it never came and beans were cold , so we used the main restaurant for the rest of the visit as the choice was better, also because we were all inclusive the drinks hour wasn’t beneficial, it wasn’t bad just wouldn’t bother wasting £400 for services we didn’t use (our choice not to use them I’m sure some people would like them) but as for the hotel , you couldn’t fault it , beautiful grounds, lovely staff, food, yes often cold like others have mentioned but this didn’t bother us , the choice was good and the restaurant was lovely. We had a couples massage which was very good. I would advise on upgrading to a sea view as many of the rooms had dreadful views, some just a wall or fence or car park, where as the sea view have lovely views of the surrounding area. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

This was out 6th visit and we will be back, so I hope that tells you that we would recommend this hotel to anyone who would want to visit Tenerife

What a fantastic accommodation. Rooms are kept immaculately clean and amenities are plentiful and varied. Super service everywhere. No cash as charged to room or card payments only and poolside towels supplied. Brilliant stay

This hotel was amazing & I only have one fault. You have to get up super early to get a sunbed ( we got up in the dark at 7.30am). We did not want to pay more money for the level as the hotel was expensive enough & the level was not guaranteed to get you a sunbed in the sunshine as I noticed there were empty beds all in the shade & most guests had grabbed the beds in sunshine first. The other thing you can do is skip pool & go to beach instead On a positive note, the room was fantastic as we upgraded to view with seaview. Very good size room & beds were extremely comfortable. The evening entertainment was excellent probably some of the best acts I have ever seen live. The maids cleaned room everyday & gave a bottle of champagne & cake for hubbys birthday The staff in pool bar & evening bar were very friendly & professional The reception staff were always polite & welcoming & so were the towel staff. We did not eat dinner at hotel as we opted for bed & breakfast.
