OCÉANO Health Spa Hotel - Tenerife

My friend and I had a seven day stay here doing the anti-aging body program which we loved The treatments you get with the program are fantastic We also had five yoga classes and one aqua fit class included and a personal training session. It came with half board in the restaurant. There was fruit infused or plain water available throughout the day/ night. Breakfast had a great choice I loved the 2 fresh fruit smoothies and the freshly squeezed orange juice particularly. the staff at breakfast and dinner were lovely. The evening menu had to be chosen each morning and you had a choice of two starters or three mains one fish, one meat one vegetarian the food was very good but not excellent. If you did not like dessert you could have sorbet as an alternative. Every morning except Sunday there was a week to the sea class done on the rooftop which we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed in a design room which was gorgeous. The bed faced the sea and the shower was fantastic with a clear glass wall that looked right through the room out onto the sea a lovely touch. The Sauna area was fantastic with an infrared sauna along with two different temperature saunas 60 and 90 degrees, a steam room and cold water pool and other features. What we found disappointing The thalassotherapy pool was small the jets apart from one were not really powerful enough some hardly working and there were too few of them the lovely fountain that you see in the picture barely makes impact on the body. There wasn’t enough choice for dinner. The lunch menu was limited and the lovely Rooms had no air-conditioning, which was fine for us as it wasn’t hot but in the summer this would be unbearable. The double room had two beds not one big bed which again disappointed me. on their website it says that the design rooms do come with shower or bath however when we asked at reception we were told that was not so we were on floor two, which is just one floor up and could be noisy at times.

From meeting the delightful Paula at reception upon arrival she set the tone for her whole team in every department of the hotel to give the best service to two weary Mayr gut troubled customers - most perfect holiday wonderfully supported by literally every member of her team unfailingly every day

Charming, beautiful and peaceful location, calm and peaceful atmosphere, spacious room with a balcony offering stunning views. The pool and garden were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was fantastic (apart from mediocre coffee) but the dinners mixed. Other facilities - gym, sauna were great and I enjoyed some of the treatments. Sadly the tennis court was neglected - such a shame as it could be restored with minimal investment and for me it's a great draw.

I had a lovely time staying in your hotel, as did my friend. The staff were delightful and the view from my room was spectacular. I felt very well on my return home, thanks to all the treatments. It was only a pity that I don't speak German. I think it was hard for the yoga teachers to instruct in 2 or 3 different languages at the same time and still ensure that everyone was doing the exercises correctly. This is my only minor criticism during a very happy week spent with you in Tenerife.

I’ll be returning here time and time again. I was in dire need of having a reset. And that is exactly what I got! I did the FX Mayr detox programme for 10 days. It has given me such a boost. And the hotel itself has lovely grounds, great facilities (including outdoor pool, access to natural swim sea pool, well equipped gym, great selection of sauna and steam room, heated indoor pool, spa with some of the best treatments I’ve ever had, beauty treatments and lovely restaurant with local fresh ingredients) My room was perfect, extremely clean and comfy. Loved falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.
