I want to begin by acknowledging that staff tried to resolve some of the issues. Most were friendly and accommodating, particularly in the bar and restaurant; without their efforts, I would have rated the hotel much lower. If this hotel were advertised as 3*, expectations and complaints would likely be lower. Unfortunately, it does not meet 4* standards, and the photographs did not reflect our experience. On arrival, we were seen quickly by friendly reception staff. Although our rooms were not ready, we appreciated being allowed to have lunch. The hotel has a large car park, useful for guests with a hire car. There are shops nearby and several bars and restaurants a little further away, which we used regularly. Our room was very disappointing. It had an overpowering smell, which appeared to be insect spray, yet there were still large ants. The bathroom was not clean: the shower was covered in water marks, the toilet had faeces around the rim, and the bath had no plug. The drinking glasses were used, and a bedside lamp was dusty and mouldy. The balcony and fridge were welcome, but the room was otherwise very basic. I immediately called reception to move us, even offering to pay, but was told the hotel was full and that staff could not stop nature when I raised the ants. Housekeeping was promised but never arrived, although other guests we met who complained that day said they had been moved. The manager eventually relocated my daughter and me a few doors away, but the replacement room was much the same, with a slightly cleaner bathroom and better balcony but an extremely hard bed. A complimentary bottle of wine was a kind gesture, although I do not drink. The food was another major disappointment. Dinner often repeated lunch, with limited, heavy choices such as mashed and roast potatoes and pork chops despite the 33°C heat. I usually ate only dessert, while others found the cocktails poor and avoided the wine. Although management listened and apologised, we ate out or ordered takeaway several times, adding considerable expense and making the all-inclusive package feel redundant. Breakfast was the strongest meal, offering eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, cereals, toast, pancakes, fruit and yoghurt, plus tea and coffee. The juice was post-mix syrup. There were also many wasps around the breakfast and pool areas, so because I am allergic, we ate indoors. Poolside snacks included cheese-and-spinach pastries, mini sausages and small cakes, a limited variety which was the same everyday. Overall, the location is convenient and most staff are friendly. This hotel may suit guests who mainly need a base while exploring, particularly at a good 2/3* price. However, I would not recommend it to anyone expecting to stay on-site, eat well and relax, as the rooms, cleanliness, food and facilities fall below the advertised four-star standard.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Greece. We really appreciated the staff: they were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Thanks to them, we felt comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. We would be delighted to return and will recommend this hotel to others! We visited Ariti Grand Hotel as a family of 10, the location gave easy access to the beach and Corfu Town. The atmosphere was hot but we had air conditioning which helped a lot, The rooms were quite clean but there were no bath mats so after showering the floor was always wet. In one of our rooms the toilets leaked and there was human waste which made the room smell so unbearably bad we had to get moved. The kids pool had dead bugs inside and didn't allow anyone to jump in despite the deep end being 1.5 deep. The lifeguard was very rude and not giving any information. He didn't allow my 7 year old daughter to go into the big pool with her siblings and only let her go into the dirty kiddie pool, and was rude when she refused, instead of looking out for the people swimming, the lifeguard was going to get drinks from the bar, smoking, and using his phone, not properly doing his job. Some of the staff were nice such as Thalia, Eric, and Dimitri but some people like the CEO were very unhelpful unreliable and self defensive. The manager in the blue top was very nice and kind and generous, there was another manager with a black top with the hotel name claiming he was the owner of the company he was very rude to our family The food was SCRUMPTIOUS and absolutely had us looking forward to breakfast lunch and dinner, the times were flexible but breakfast was a bit too early they even had snacks to get like sausage roll and chicken nuggets. Even at one point all electricity in the building went off with no notice or warning Overall, I rated this hotel a 3 as everything about it had a flaw

caution. The rooms are in a very bad condition!

We had a good time at the hotell. The rooms were clean and equipped with AC. The balcony had a beautiful view over parts of the airport and the greenery. The airplanes had a noticeable sound to begin with but after a day it was nothing that would disturb you. If you closed the balcony door the airplanes wasn’t a disturbance. Breakfast buffet was okay, same breakfast everyday but large enough so you don’t get bored.
