From the moment you walk into this hotel, you instantly relax. There’s a beautiful signature scent throughout the property, and because the hotel is brand new, everything absolutely gleams. The décor has a chic Ibiza-style vibe, modern, stylish, and calming. With fewer than 80 rooms, the hotel never feels overcrowded and there’s no fighting for sunbeds, which was a huge bonus. Even better it’s adults only. No kids! That alone was one of the main reasons we booked, and it made for such a peaceful stay. The hotel has one main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus an à la carte restaurant, Stia, which is included for one visit depending on your package. It was nice, although not the best steak I’ve ever had. The dinner buffet changed theme nightly, but if I’m honest, this was probably the only aspect that slightly let the hotel down. Breakfast, however, was excellent, especially the full English options. The pool menu was fantastic with plenty of choice, and we ended up eating lunch there most days. Drinks at the bar were all premium brands, which definitely elevated the all-inclusive experience. One standout was being able to dine at their sister hotel, Celiste, as part of the all-inclusive package. The food there was amazing, and the hotel provides a free transfer although it’s only about a two-minute drive away anyway. Activities and dining reservations are booked through the hotel app, although unfortunately the app itself wasn’t working particularly well during our stay. We did enjoy the complimentary boat cruise, despite the lack of sunshine, but sadly the sunset cruise was fully booked on both evenings it ran. We also attended a complimentary olive oil tasting at the sister hotel, which was a lovely touch and something a bit different. The service throughout the hotel was absolutely top tier. Huge thanks to Mark, Ilias, Evi, Alexandra, and of course Minas Kassavitas, who was always around for a chat and a laugh. Every member of staff went above and beyond and always with a smile. The rooms were lovely overall, although they could do with a little more bathroom counter space and a suitcase rack would have been useful. The Nespresso machine and mini bar were appreciated additions. There were also some roadworks nearby during our stay, which wasn’t ideal, but sometimes these things are unavoidable and it certainly didn’t ruin the experience. There’s also an outdoor spa area offering massages and facials, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful, adults-only five-star escape, this hotel is a fantastic choice. A small improvement to the dinner buffet and it would be close to perfect I would happily return.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and incredibly relaxing—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff truly make the experience exceptional; their hospitality is unmatched, and everyone is warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive to every detail. One of the highlights is how conveniently close everything is—the beach and pool are just steps away, making it easy to unwind throughout the day. I also loved the outdoor gym, which is a fantastic touch for anyone who enjoys staying active while on vacation. The food deserves special mention as well—every meal was outstanding, cooked to perfection, and clearly prepared with care. Thank you for such a wonderful experience—I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return!

I organised this holiday for my partner and me, along with a friend and his wife, so the pressure was on — all four of us had high expectations. I’m delighted to say we were not disappointed. I honestly don’t think we’ve ever stayed anywhere where the staff felt less like employees and more like extended family. It was truly amazing. First impressions count, and Avali delivered immediately. The hotel is fairly new and had only reopened for the second day of the season. We were warmly greeted by a lovely receptionist (Maria) and the Food & Beverage Manager (Minas), who welcomed us with refreshing drinks. The atmosphere was instantly calming and relaxing. As our rooms weren’t quite ready, we decided to have lunch. Walking into the buffet and seeing that sea view was breath-taking — my friend’s wife actually hugged me for finding this place! The meal was delicious, and when we later went to our room, we couldn’t fault it in any way. We stayed in a Panoramic Junior Suite, and everything felt spotless, fresh, and beautifully maintained. The entire hotel was immaculately clean. Avali is part of the Mar-Bella Collection, which includes three hotels in the area: Avali, MarBella, and Nido. Each has its own character — Avali is tranquil, MarBella is family-focused, and Nido is adults-only. Although Avali isn’t strictly adults-only, it may as well be, as children under six aren’t permitted. Guests are free to visit all three hotels and sample the food. For us, MarBella felt too busy and noisy — lots of families and children everywhere — which just wasn’t what we were looking for (no judgement; we’re all parents ourselves, but those days are behind us!). If you want peace, quiet, and the best sunbeds I’ve ever experienced, Avali is the place to be. Because the hotel had only just reopened, there were a few minor teething problems with food and drink orders. However, this is where the staff and management truly shone. They welcomed feedback and acted on it immediately — not defensively, but genuinely wanting to improve. For example, my partner and I are vegetarians and fancied a halloumi burger, which they happily arranged without hesitation. My friends were celebrating a wedding anniversary, and when staff found out how much she loved the cheesecake, they made one especially for her. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Some guests complained about food choices, but honestly, if you simply talk to the staff, they listen and respond. Their ethos is centred on care, flexibility, and family — and they absolutely live by it. The General Manager, Panagiotis, and the Food & Beverage Manager, Minas, were exceptional. They took the time to learn everyone’s names and constantly walked around the hotel checking in on guests, making sure everyone was happy. That level of service is rare. Special mentions also go to Theodora (bar), Klair (buffet), Ionna (supervisor), Eveidiki (pool bar), and the wonderful Maria and Manouela at reception, who organised our car hire and more. When we left, the staff all came out to see us off and even took a photo with us. It was genuinely emotional. I’ve used the word family a lot — but it truly fits. We left with tears in our eyes and a promise to return, something we’ve never said about a hotel before. As I said to Panagiotis when we were leaving: “Keep doing exactly what you’re doing — it’s absolutely right.” Genuinely loved this place and our new extended family.
