Beautiful hotel in a very tranquil setting. Very good food and excellent staff.

What a lovely holiday my husband & I had at this great hotel with it's beautiful setting, lovely food and brilliant staff. Our special thanks go to Rea at reception who couldn't have been more helpful. July our room attendant was just lovely, very thorough and brilliant with towel designs, so skillful. I enjoyed talking to Armando one of the chiefs for his enthusiasm for the food which was all cooked on the premises and very fresh. Our special thanks go to Eleni and Elpida at breakfast and lunch. These two young ladies are exceptional. We've mentioned a few names but we'd like to thank all the team for making it such a memorable experience.

Very happy to have stumbled across this lovely new resort, which is part of the Mar-bella collection. Avali has only been open since August 2025 so is relatively new for both guests and the staff working there. What a treat. Depending on what you're used to - this was a first 5* experience for us - we loved the boutique intimacy of the place. It's an 'adults only' in all but name so peaceful and quiet - just bliss with beautiful views around the pool through the sprinkling of trees across the sea. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to be genuinely enjoying their time there. From the front of house when we arrived, to the guest staff welcoming at meals, at the bars and around the pool, to the house keepers sprucing up our room every day were faultless. My biggest shout out goes to Ioannis their head chef, who leads his team of chefs and support team. If you love Greek food - and we do - then you're in for a treat if you come here. With the menu changing every day, we were mouth struck by the flavours and quality of food prepared and presented to us - ask Ioannis about what's on offer and he'll be only too happy to share with you his inspiration, what's in every dish and how it's been prepared. It's like Greek Master Chef come to life! If you enjoy eating with your eyes first to see what you fancy then this Zardini is the buffet restaurant for you. With a wide choice of wine - plenty of local Greek wine which was excellent - then dive in! Thank you - we hope to be able to return at some point in the future.

The Hotel is brand new, well designed and built to a high standard. We stayed in a sea view room which was beautifully furnished with a large functional bathroom, and large balcony which had the extra advantage of a beautiful sunrise coming up over the Ionian Sea. There are a large swimming pool and easy access to the beach if you fancy a swim in the sea, as well as two very well-appointed gyms, one outdoor and one indoor. At the moment the a-la-carte restaurant has not opened, but this hasn’t been a problem for us, because the buffet style restaurant provided some of the best food we have ever had, with plenty of variety, all prepared from fresh local ingredients and beautifully presented. Finally, the Hotel’s biggest asset is THE STAFF, every member was polite, friendly, and extremely helpful, they went above and beyond what was required and made us feel really at home. We would recommend the hotel as the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Definitely a 5 star experience. It is so calm and peaceful! Pool is stylish and sunbeds are really comfortable. Design, decor is all beautiful and it really feels luxe. There was lots to do in terms of fitness, Including an indoor gym (air con ended to be up higher it was really hot!), and outdoor gyms and water sports, as well as a fitness instructor leading sessions. Food was great, the chef was on hand to speak to guests and explain the dishes and there was enough choice that was made to a high standard but not too much that there was wastage. Excited to see the Al a carte next year. The staff are so friendly and added to the experience. As the hotel was only around 80% full it is still a time to learn but overall it was great. We did find drinks took a while to receive which could be improved with more staff at the bars but we appreciated that they are still working things out. We did worry that the hotel would price themselves out of us coming back again and that would be a big shame, as we absolutely loved it and would return.
