When we booked this was called Dreams Corfu, About a month before we went we received an email to say this had been changed to Hyatt Ziva Corfu Upon arrival we got stuck in the lift - quite a terrifying experience with children - my friend had to prise open the door with her hands. We told the staff and they put an out of order sign up, needless to say we avoided the lift for the rest of the holiday. Our room had a funny smell as soon as we went in and a birds nest with bird poo on the patio. The next day the smell got so bad of sewage we told the receptionist and they moved our room. The staff were really helpful sorting this out Restaurants - I tried booking on app but no availability, so you need to que to book them, the lady was helpful and did get us a table in each of their 'al carte' restaurants. they were not al a carte. The food was bad in the greek and the seaside grill. Italian food ok but service appalling as they closed at 9.30, staff just left without saying anything and didn't clear the table. the pool is good - they say they have a towel policy where they remove towels after 30 mins - they do not so you need to be at the pool by 8am to secure a spot. really annoying as you cant just relax and show up after breakfast. I also saw a rat run past my sun lounger by the pool. V small entertainment area for the size of the hotel. so not enough seats Beware of the outside water inflatables my friend got badly cut on it - and the kids said it wasn't inflated properly so they all came off with bumps and bruises. Did a day trip to Aqualand - really great water park Tracy from lord travel super helpful at sorting tickets/ transport and also our transport back to the sirport as the lonk i had been sent didnt work. - would recommend her and the company We weren't leaving until 8.30 pm - had to leave our room at midday i tried to get an extension - it was 30 euros an hour and no availability so we had to get ready in they gym, which smelt of mould. the whole place needs a deep clean. I actually had a wonderful holiday with my daughters and my best friend because we can have a good time anywhere but I was SO disappointed with this hotel, we had payed a lot of money so my expectations were much higher. this is a typical stressful all inclusive and I will not do again - i've booked IKOS for next year.

We had a slightly bumpy start and weren’t sure the hotel was going to work for us. It was very busy the day we arrived, and with peak summer, the heat and three children, the number of people and queues around some facilities that felt quite overwhelming initially. That said, this is definitely a hotel where you need to find your groove and work out the routine that works for your family. Once we did, we genuinely had a great time and were actually sad to leave. The rooms were clean and modern and the children absolutely loved the hotel. The team were a real highlight. We had a few specific concerns at the beginning, including managing a serious food allergy, and the Guest Experience team and management were really supportive and listened to everything we raised. Katerina the manager in particular couldn’t have been kinder or more professional. The staff at breakfast and lunch were also fantastic once they got to know us, particularly with a family of five and three young children, and went out of their way to help. I wish I remembered their names. The entertainment was brilliant — the kids absolutely adored it, as well as the kids’ club. There was always something going on, which gave us a nice break from pool and sun time. The lagoon pool was probably our favourite as it felt a little more spacious and near the club. We also enjoyed the food. There was a good choice in the buffet, including fresh prawns which the kids loved- and lobster pasta that was so good! We tried several of the à la carte restaurants and had some really enjoyable meals, as well as some fab cocktails (really good cosmos!). Overall, yes, it’s a busy resort, particularly in peak summer, but once we found our routine we really enjoyed it. The entertainment, kids’ club and, above all, the kindness of the staff were the real 5-star highlights for us..

Overall a very lovely resort and a big shout out to the staff who work soooo hard to make your holiday as special as possible. We made the most of our time. Water sports on beach were great fun but a bit pricey. 30 euros per person. Overall the holiday was exactly what we wanted. We relaxed and spent time together ❤️ Top Positives - no fighting over sunbeds. Plenty available until 10/1030 then gets busy - good choice of food places - felt safe - important when travelling with 2 children on your own - beds very comfortable and our room was fairly quiet so we had a good night's sleep - clean and resort well looked after - lovely welcome on arrival - Italian was our favourite - lots of choice at buffet. Negatives - not enough evening entertainment. 1 night a week is party night with the option to have a little dance for 2 hours. No denying the entertainment team work hard but watching them do a Musicals miming night could be improved. For a 5 star resort you would expect more - can't book restaurants on app - had to ask at reception for replacement vanity kits every few days as never replaced - only 1 water bottle provided for a room for 3 - inflatable park may need to be looked at. It is in shallow water so my son and other guests would come off with cuts and grazes.
