We stayed for 11 nights returning 19th Oct as a family of 3, the youngest 2.5yrs old. I'll give an honest review. The GOOD Well decorated and clean hotel, nice rooms Restaurant and reception staff and cleaning staff were polite and worked hard, some guests observed to be quite rude especially when waiting on a table. All staff made a fuss of our little girl. Booked a triple room, plenty of room maybe lacking on clothes storage facility though for a long holiday and 3 cases Well located no.7 bus south to Corfu town and north to Ipsos, bus to Corfu stopped at Gouvia where you could join the green bus line to several other areas Hotels close to airport, short transfer 10 min walk to beach, water is clear but not blue it doesn't matter its nice to swim in and a few bars for food/drink Food selection pretty good in main restaurant, snack bar not so nice, to.muxh food out at once for too long Mix of clientele, 60% French a nice mix The not so good or infact The BAD Room doors heavy, slamming at night woke us up. Witnesses door casings blown on 3rd floor where doors slammed, shame as its a newly done up hotel No travel cot 1st night despite emailing in advance and being assured we'd get one, 1st night was a nightmare with a restless toddler sharing our bed, not the best start Food was rarely hot, common abroad but annoying Not enough hand rails, the steps down to bar when carrying a child or unsteady on your feet are dangerous. This hotel is not suitable for children in pushchairs or for anyone unfit to be honest due to lifts not servicing all areas and alot of stairs just to get a drink 60% French clientele, O Club entertainment team situated at hotel provide the French package hol company entertainment all centered around the French. Music booming out on a boom box, no other entertainment although was an area outside. To say it was end of season the hotel was busy so they should have some better options, entertainment board listed activity but didn't happen Large swimming pool area needs works on edging, patio also not cleaned enough to any bits floating about. Air-conditioning didn't reduce below 24degrees meant door was open and mosquitos got in room causing bites, either sort air con or provide door screens Serious wasp issue, same when out and about from hotel however hotel didn't appear to use any deterrents This hotel could be really good, given we perceived the Jet2 hol price to be favourable on a late booking we were happy with our stay however next year's price is nearly double, this hotel isn't worth that.

My stay at Iolida was great. The food was very tasty, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. While some options were a bit repetitive, there were still plenty of different plates to enjoy. The drinks were excellent, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was well-equipped and matched the description perfectly. There was a minor issue with the shower, as the drainage worked poorly and occasionally flooded the bathroom. There was also an unpleasant sewage smell from outside at times. I did not use the pool as the water was too cold for me, however the area outside pool is ok. Despite these small issues, I had a wonderful holiday overall and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Currently writing this halfway through a 14 night stay, and wish now we’d only booked 7! It’s hard to know where to start, but the main one is that you really need to be French to be catered for here. This was also just admitted by a member of reception staff to my partner. My partner has been verbally abused by a French guest this morning for leaving a door open for me to walk through, and when we raised this with Tui, the staff here took the French guest’s side. When my partner wished to take this up with the general manager, she was informed she’d have no chance of doing so. We booked this as a 4 star all inclusive, thinking as with most of these type of holidays there would be some kind of evening entertainment, but there is literally none, unless you’re French. It’s Sleepy Valley by 9.00, no vibe, just groups of French people playing cards out on the terrace. It’s like a curfew. One gets the impression that because we’re reaching end of season, that staff are just sticking around until knock off time. The other reviews are correct, in as much as the rooms APPEAR clean and well maintained, but we did have a serious hygiene problem with the tea/ coffee facilities in our room. This did get rectified, but DO have a good check! I don’t want to tar all staff with one brush, as the young guy at the bar, a couple of the more mature female staff, and Maria at the spa have been top notch. But a good few of the staff are quite surly, and act as if they’re just marking time. I’ve observed one staff member leaving the toilet without washing his hands also. The reviews mentioning lack of variety in the restaurant would be correct. I am veggie, and have struggled a little. My partner also noticed a chef lumping cheeses onto a platter with cold cuts this morning, so take note… On TUI, it says the beach is 15 minutes walk. Which it is, but down a dingy lane, as the IKOS 5 star resort monopolises the beach here, and rather limits freedom of movement. It doesn’t help that it’s pouring with rain here just now, and TUI appear to have washed their hands of the situation. So, it appears that all that’s left for another week, is to sit on our rain soaked balcony and get drunk on the all inclusive wine (which is bearable, thank goodness!) Unfortunately, would not recommend, and would not visit again.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days and truly loved it. The staff is very friendly, always attentive and welcoming. The food is quite varied; we tried something different every day. The huge pool was the best, and we did aqua gym with Gonzalo right there... they really seemed like personalized classes, super fun, and full of energy. Oksana was also super friendly; you could tell they enjoyed what they were doing. In the evenings, we went to the bar for a drink and relaxed with the music; it was the perfect plan after an active day. Overall, we felt our holiday was exactly what we were looking for: good food, activities, relaxation, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We would definitely return.
