Rigos Apartments Vitalades

We stayed here in August and honestly, it was a terrible experience. The place was dirty, unsafe, and nothing like what we expected. Bathroom: Mold, limescale everywhere, shower water changing from freezing to boiling, almost no pressure. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Room: Broken switches, taped-up lights, cracked window, loose sockets, AC locked at 25°C because “it would cut the power.” Mosquito nets badly tied with string, totally unsafe for kids. Cleanliness: Dirty pots, smelly bins inside the property, overall unhygienic. Outdoor area: No fence, dangerous for children, rusty furniture, junk lying around, overgrown weeds and dry leaves (fire hazard, risk of snakes). Safety: Basically non-existent. This place should not be operating, especially not for families. On top of that, the owner was annoyed from my kids. He told us he doesn’t like Greek or English guests because we are “too demanding.” He wandered around barefoot with his shirt open, and even complained that my kids were laughing at 11:30 in the morning. Really? They are 2 and 9 years old – that’s normal! This was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. Definitely not recommended.

Fantastic authentic place. Simple and relaxed. Vasiles is a great genuine warm man. Reception Blah Blah, you will see. The family are all lovely people. Lovely cats. Small quaint unspoilt Vitalades village 12 mins to walk to for food, beverage and supplies. Gyro 3.50, 500ml Retsina 5 E. So friendly. Walk to the beach in 25 mins. Great simple Tavernas there. Julia Taverna highly recommended. Reasonable prices for those of us on modest incomes. Affordable. Bus to Corfu Town from Perivoli village. 20 mins or so walk. Lidl is about 50 mins walk through olive groves and main road. For anything extra not available in the Vitalades village mini markets, who are super friendly and mostly sufficient . Take mosquito protection Jungle Formula Deet 50% on this walk. The accommodation is roomy, clean, beautifully simple, ample cooking hobs and utensils for a simple relaxing stay in gorgeous authentic surroundings. Great balcony and garden with frog and listen out for the beautiful call of Autillo the owl. Local people wave and smile with warmth. So refreshing, ensure you try and return it and try and take some of it home. A fantastic relaxing, rewarding holiday. The best. Thank you so much Vasiles and family. Run by a very helpful and friendly family, very near to the beach, rooms tidied everyday. Very quiet and ideal for rest. Would return for sure 😊 they even drove us to the nearest supermarket to buy some items and waited for us 👌 🍀🙏 very good week

without doubt the most relaxing holiday we have had spent many hours (blah blahing) with the nicest people vasilias and gorgia the husband and wife hosts that made our holiday so good they could not do enough from meeting us at 2 in the morning to delicious snacks and drink whie talking at the bench cant wait to go next year

We've just had a Fantastic 14 day break in Vitaledes ,staying at Vasillas and Georgia's Rigos Apartments...Absolutely Brilliant....Ground floor studio..it's honestly the most relaxed holiday in Greece ever....Studio was the usual " Greek Basic" and just the way we like it and having the internet 24/7 called it for us...We promised we'd be going back and Woo Hoo we're booked in next time for 18 days....and 15 minutes down the road and your at Gardenos Beach ...Absolute Magic !!!!
