Lesante Cape Resort & Villas

Wanted to express are satisfaction with the Lesante Cape this this summer. Our entire stay was amazing - from the accommodations, facilities, restaurants, and most of all, the incredible staff. the service was impeccable - something you would expect to receive at a truly world class and 5-star resort and that was exactly what we received.

We stayed in villa 8 that is a fantastic villa with a great wiew. The family loved everything with the stay from the pool to the restaurants and the fantastic beach place for sun and relax. We will for sure come back ans a big thanks to Panos that made our stay flawless

Faultless, except… Stunning views, intelligent design, great food and above all exceptional staff. But the natural beauty was marred by blaring music and prison camp night lighting. In the early mornings I sat by the pool for sunrise with other guests in silence, and we could hear the sea, metres below, it was magical. As staff arrived the awful music was plugged in, ruining it as a memorable experience. Music in every single restaurant, even the tiny one by the beach, late into the evening. At night the stars are wonderfully clear and we were lucky enough to have a full moon, but the hotel’s all night lighting made the night sky look like we were in the middle of a city. European village street lighting is now ubiquitous, why add to the pollution of night skies? The advantages of quiet nature for humans and dark skies for wildlife is well documented. Why can’t luxury hotels take the initiative and improve life for guests and nature by keeping lights and music off? Anyone privileged enough to come to this level of hotel is autonomous, with phones (and headphones) PERPETUALLY available for music and lighting. Does also seem unforgivable to provide water in plastic coated cartons, with plastic lids, on an island famed for turtles, while oceans are increasingly choked with plastic. I bought my own water filtering bottle, drank the tap water all week, was completely fine. Ditto providing straws with everything (biodegradable plastic doesn’t biodegrade well at sea), unless you’re a toddler, do you really need one? Blaze a trail Leading Hotels of the World, encourage your hotels to do better.

My family had a truly unforgettable experience during our recent stay at Lesante Cape. We had 2 large rooms overlooking the sea that were modern, beautiful and comfortable. The resort’s amenities and food were excellent. But most of all, it was the service and people, especially Panos and George, who made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return!

Great venue beautiful scenery and excellent service. All the staff were so helpful from the start of our stay to the end.
