Riomar Ibiza, a Tribute Portfolio

From arrival to departure this hotel excels. The staff cannot be praised enough. Normally you can highlight one or two individuals that make your stay memorable, however this hotel, and all the staff are wonderful, friendly and genuinely want you to enjoy. This clearly comes for a great GM. While we saw him around, but did not meet him, he runs a great team. The hotel is in a fab location, on the beach, with the promenade running in front, which leads to the town and the marina, both a 15 minute stroll, for shops restaurants and bars. It was our second trip in as many months to Ibiza, but stayed last time in Talamanca, but this was better and we will definitely return next year. We had a sea view deluxe which was very comfortable, pillow menu, and our requests to be away from the lift taken care of. The sound of the waves, the lighting, the soundproofing too, all adds to the very lovely stay. Clean, great housekeeping, and very comfortable beds. The bar, restaurant and food were all good with plenty of choice (no Tanqueray gin of fever tree tonic!) 😱 Only one area which I think needs a makeover, is the the breakfast room. It's more like a canteen, very stark, but that didn't affects us, as we sat on the terrace for breakfast, pic below. The pool service is great, which hotels often lack. very attentive, coming around regularly to take drink or food orders for all guests, with quick delivery, and so it goes on! Just try it, you won't be disappointed.

What a charming hotel! The staff are, without exception, the stars of the show. They’re exactly how you want them to be when you’re on holiday. Efficient, friendly and welcoming, but above all, genuinely kind and considerate towards their guests. What really stands out is their enthusiasm for making guests their number one priority. It never feels forced or simply part of the job, they genuinely seem to care about making sure everyone has a wonderful stay. We witnessed so many examples of staff graciously dealing with rude guests, always remaining patient and courteous. Older guests were made comfortable in and around the hotel without any fuss or bother. There is a real sense that everyone matters here, and that every guest deserves to feel special. Sadly, that can be a rare quality these days. And then there’s the hotel itself. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds, excellent housekeeping and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is right on the beach, so you can hear the sea from the hotel, a soothing backdrop throughout the day. There are plenty of places to sit and simply watch the world go by from the terrace, with lots of shade. It’s incredibly easy to relax here. It’s a hotel that gets so many things right. You really couldn’t ask for more.

We came in June for 10 glorious days, we had a sea view room, which was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was lovely, usually beds free, if not the beach beds were just as nice. We had lunch a few times at the pool which was very good, cocktails were great!! The nicest place we have stayed to date!! We have just rebooked for next year to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary, couldn’t think of a nicer place to spend it!! We never usually go to the same place twice but this place is special!!

We’ve just returned from an 11 night stay - 2 adults, 17 year old and a 15 year old - and it suited us perfectly. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The rooms were brilliantly decorated (albeit limited storage for clothes). And the location was so centrally located it made going out stress free. An easy walk on the promenade to bars and restaurants, and then you could carry on to the Marina. It felt so safe, that I’d be happy with our teenagers walking around together at night. Great local bus service was easy to walk to and it was reliable and cheap to get us to and from Ibiza town and Es Cana (for the hippy market on Wednesdays). Would 100% recommend.

We loved our stay at this hotel and stayed here for 11nights with “Jet 2” UK holiday package. The staff on arrival were extremely helpful and courteous and throughout our stay were always professional. A special positive mention should be made to Manuel(the pool guy),the dual nationality Spanish/English girl and the supervisor in the breakfast area which incidentally was very good. We were allocated a small room to the rear of the hotel or on the same side as the main entrance. We expected a non sea view to be honest having booked through a package company but were slightly disappointed with the size of the balcony and lack of storage space as previous reviews have stated.Even a few more hooks on the walls would have been useful. We did however stay for 11 nights and probably had more luggage than most. I would stay here again however and there were guests from all over Europe and the USA(thankfully no MAGA caps😂) and as mentioned earlier the service by staff was excellent. Hope to return again and keep up the good work. Thanks
