Best Western South Bay Hotel

I had a clothing item stolen from my room. After filing a complaint, "Sam" the manager, has not returned any of the calls I placed to reach him.

There are some shady characters that come in and out of here. Not going to lie. Weird things going on in the parking lot, but I have to say the hotel itself is ok. Not their fault that strange folk frequent this hotel. They put us in one room on the 3rd floor, but a few hours later they checked in a family of absolute animals and the racket coming through those paper-thin walls was out of control, I immediately went downstairs and demanded a change. They put us in a better room and we were able to get some sleep. There's a burger joint called "Made Burger" next door, I suggest you check it out if you're a hamburger fan. The breakfast buffet was ok, small 2-room area to eat, standard fare like the do-it-yourself waffles, etc. It's one of the few hotels out there that have all-hardwood floors throughout the hall and rooms. Every step by every person taken can be heard. Not for those who are seeking peace and tranquility.

A user-friendly hotel with good location. It has stores within walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was better than expected. It's value for money. The parking lot was spacious. Rooms are clean and tidy with adequate facilities.

The front desk female rude as $@?!.. I stood there for a week on business and even though i had a DONT DISTURB the maids tried coming in my room luckily i was there and had lach on door. But imagine if i didn't and doing something they dont need to see . Second time they didn't even knock they just opened door i was in the bathtub i had to yell get out! Ridiculous and this was only like 8 am cuz i work at night just getting in. Horrible experience.

I was at Best Western Plus South Bay Hotel for two nights, just before returning home from my US vacation. The first night was terrible: although my room was very good, it faced Hawthorne Blvd., and insulation from outside noise was very bad - I could not sleep at all with the noise from the road. The following morning I reported the problem to the front desk, and they offered changed my room with one on the back. The room was also very good and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom, and - most important - was very quiet, so I could sleep very well. Air conditioning was efficient although a bit noisy. Wi-fi worked very well. Breakfast was good.
