Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort

Main reason for the rating is we had a bag of handmade gifts, we had received on a cruise that finished in LA. We left the gifts in the room whilst venturing out to Disneyland. When we got back, the bag of gifts had gone. Only explanation is housekeeping threw it away (although not sure why as it wasn’t very light - and we’re saying it’s thrown away as we wouldn’t accuse someone of taking it). Spoke to management, broke down in tears because of how much they meant to us. They raised an insurance claim which…of course…has just been denied because they are denying any responsibility. Absolutely abhorrent. Would never use again. We understand it will have been an accident…but take responsibility. We have footage of us entering the room with the gifts…they will have footage of us leaving without it, and still they refuse to compensate. Disgusting. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both brand standards and my personal experiences. I stayed three nights at the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort while in the area for work. My wife joined me on the trip and spent time at Disneyland, and the location worked very well for both of us. The hotel’s location is excellent. It is within easy walking distance to Disneyland, which made it very convenient for my wife, while I was able to drive to the office easily each day. On-site parking was simple and convenient. I was recognized as a Titanium Elite member and received a room on the top floor, which offered a nice view, including a partial view toward Disney California Adventure. One of the highlights of the stay was the Sheraton Club lounge. In the evening, there were some solid food options available, and in the morning, a full breakfast was offered starting at 6:00 a.m., which worked well for my schedule. The lounge added meaningful value to the stay. The hotel also has a nice pool area and several common spaces to relax, contributing to a comfortable overall experience. Overall, this was a very solid and convenient stay with good amenities and strong lounge access. While it did not have the same “wow” factor as some nearby properties, it delivered a comfortable experience with no issues. I would consider staying here again for a similar trip.

Tonight I had a wonderful server named Tomy. She was incredibly hospitable, warm, and attentive. It’s not every day you experience that kind of genuine old-school hospitality anymore. She represented the Sheraton — and most of all the Marriott brand — beautifully. It was the little things that stood out most: placing the lid back on our used dressing, bagging our items for us, asking if we needed extra paper napkins. The grace behind her service was truly refreshing and made such an impression on our evening. Thank you, Tomy, for reminding us what heartfelt hospitality looks like.

Avoid the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim. You need a code to turn on the air conditioner! Guests cannot control the thermostat. Unless you like to fry, avoid this hotel.

I had another excellent stay at the Sheraton Park Anaheim, and the lounge staff truly stood out—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. A special thank you to Matthew, the front desk supervisor, who handled all my questions with professionalism and care. We’ve been coming to this hotel for many years, and it continues to exceed expectations every time. As a Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, I’ve experienced many properties in the Disneyland area, but this one remains, by far, the best. Highly recommend!
