Mimosa Hotel

Hotel has a lovely view but charged us $1,500 for 3 nights and refused to loan us 2 wine glasses for the room despite us spending a lot of money in the bar throughout our stay. No need to be so stingy.

The staff deserves high marks. Everyone, from the front desk to the team at the fifth-floor restaurant, was excellent and very courteous. However, the room cleanliness and maintenance were below expectations. The floors were extremely greasy, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot. The bed linens were stained, and the room walls showed visible dirt and lack of maintenance. In room 217, the shower valve became stuck and would not shut off properly. When we tried to contact the front desk, the room phone was not working. In room 221, the bathtub was also noticeably dirty. In addition, the pool water was extremely cloudy and appeared very dirty, making it impossible to use. Overall, while the service from the staff was outstanding, the housekeeping, maintenance, and pool cleanliness require significant improvement.

This hotel has a nice location in the heart of north Miami Beach. The rooms are basic but good value for the location. Rooms in the front can be a tad noisy from the street noise. Restaurant is excellent and pool area is nice and clean. We didn’t have breakfast but the breakfast area on the roof looked lovely. The Beach area is lovely and beach chairs and umbrella are provided with hotel stay.

Great smaller hotel with sleek decor, a relaxing atmosphere, and great relaxation areas. Close to the beach and walking path with a nearby park, plenty of food options and a reasonable price. Good for families and solo travelers alike.

They now close the pool at 7, so Saturday after the beach, we had planned to chill by the pool wit the kids as we always do but couldn't. Sunday the pool was so dirty, with cloudy water and long black hairs floating. We love this hotel but they are messing with something good that they had - if you want to keep people at the restaurant from getting wet, add a glass partition.
