The Chelsea

We loved staying at the Hotel Chelsea. The artwork was wonderful. We spent one evening walking a few floors with a glass of wine enjoying the artwork. The hotel was located in a charming and fun part of town with easy access to walking the High Line each morning for exercise. When we return to NYC, The Hotel Chelsea will be our first choice to stay.

Return visit to The Hotel Chelsea. Ideal location re: food, Target, Trader Joe's, Eataly, and many subway lines, as well as Penn Stn and Madison Sq Park. The Chelsea Suite provided amazing access to a full kitchen and all the necessary cooking items and dishware, not to mention a freezer and gas oven, too! Range of complimentary snacks and drinks. Full W/D, which is rare in NYC hotels. Excellent, attentive housekeeping. Super helpful and friendly staff and doormen. Lovely turndown service including treats. Everything in the room was high quality, refined, and luxurious. Didn't try any on-site restaurants/bar/spa, but they appeared very popular. Highly recommended for both short and, especially longer stays. Will definitely continue to return!

This property is a world unto itself. Meticulously care for and serviced, offering a warm smile or interesting conversation with every interaction with the staff. We took our 23 and 25 yr old to celebrate a 50th birthday and not a single person was dry eyed when it was time to leave. This wasn’t about saying goodbye to NY. It was having to say goodbye to The Hotel Chelsea.

We were thrilled find that our room was ready early and still more delighted to discover that we were upgraded to a Chelsea Suite in honor of our 32nd wedding anniversary. The Chelsea Suite amenities were generous and thoughtful. The space was charmingly decorated and extremely comfortable and personalizable throughout. The Hotel Chelsea is simply wonderful - rich in NYC-centric history with great style and a warm, welcoming yet efficient staff.

If there was any hotel I could live in.. this would be the one! The aesthetics and amenities were everything I could ask for! As an artist, I couldn’t have been in a better atmosphere for a weekend get a way! Comfiest bed in the city! The layout of the room was so perfect along with every detail and piece of furniture. So excited to come back!
