Comfort Inn JFK Airport

After waiting for more than an hour late at night at the JFK airport on August 2nd for the hotel shuttle (while the front desk kept telling me when I called them on phone that the shuttle is arriving in few minutes) , I approached the front desk while checking in that if I was informed about the exact time of the arrival of the dhuttle I would have taken a taxivrather than wsitobg gir over an hour at the airport. The front desk employee responded by raising her voice, rollong her eyes and shouting at me. When my wife tried to reason, she was yelled at as well. The security guy and another employee were witness to this. I found her behavior extremely rude, aggressive, and completely inappropriate.A hotel employee should be expected to communicate with guests respectfully and professionally. Because of the way I was treated, I asked to speak with the manager. I was told that there was no manager available at that time and they refused to provide me his contact number . I was on my way for a vacation and this evening spoilt it all together. Avoid this hotel if you can guys. I am canceling the other reservation that I have made for 27th August 2026.

I had a booking there last week and due to weather my flight landed in Baltimore and not jfk that night . I rang hotel and asked for refund and manager was extremely rude to me and said I don’t control the weather and no refund would be given . Will never book here again .

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Although I did not end up staying at this hotel, I feel it is important to share my experience because customer service begins long before check-in. Immediately after making my reservation, I realized I had accidentally booked the wrong date. I contacted the hotel within minutes to explain that it was an honest mistake and asked if they could help by changing the date or authorizing a cancellation. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to help. What disappointed me the most was the way I was treated. The staff was rude and dismissive, and the manager spoke to me in an unprofessional manner before ending the phone call abruptly. Even a Booking.com representative who contacted the hotel on my behalf experienced the same hostile attitude. I fully understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but exceptional customer service means showing empathy when a genuine mistake is reported immediately. A simple gesture of understanding would have prevented a very stressful situation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel because of its lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and unwillingness to assist a guest acting in good faith. I hope management reflects on how they communicate with customers and recognizes that courtesy and respect are just as important as policies.
