A good convenient overnight. Javier at the desk helped with Q’s and getting a king bed on the quiet side of the hotel. The staff at bars and cafe - totally professional. It’s a good location for walking to downtown and catching the subway. BTW - amazing water pressure in the shower.

The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. I had an issue with an in-window A/C room my first night and the incredibly kind Sharon at the front desk went above and beyond to get me a quieter room with central A/C, even to go so far as walking me to verify the room was ready. Probably the best front desk service I’ve had at a NY hotel in a long time.

Consistent, reliable, well priced accommodation in a great location. Plus, there is Javier at the Front Desk. One of the most handsome sights in New York.

Have never been moved to write a review like this before but i have never stayed in a hotel like this. It is quite simply disgusting. It’s not even two star let alone four. The room I was given had black duct tape holding the carpet together, exposed wires thick with dust, no hot water, flickering lights, broken down furniture and the smell of mildew. I had planned to stay two weeks as I’m here for work but I’m checking out in the morning. I was moved to another room as that one was intolerable even for a night but it is barely any better. I can’t wait to get out of here. The staff were pleasant enough but jaded - clearly hear this all the time - indeed there were lots of people trying to change rooms. Absolutely appalling - stay anywhere but here.
