Hyatt Place Long Island East End

Love this clean hotel with a great breakfast, pools and I love the view of the water and boats Relaxing and convenient to get around Long Island

I book groups for bus tours all over New York State. The Hyatt Place Long Island/East End was amazing to work with. Rachel Tomasky was lovely, quick to respond and took great care of our passengers. I would highly recommend putting groups up at this hotel, it is located well for a 2 or 3 night stay because there is so much to see in the area. The guests also loved a private dinner at the Aquarium next door which was arranged by hotel staff as well.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeremy and the kindness he showed me during what had been an incredibly emotionally, mentally, and spiritually exhausting day. I arrived as a solo female traveler with my puppy, and I think my exhaustion was probably written all over my face. What impressed me immediately about Jeremy was that he seemed to recognize the intensity of the situation without requiring me to explain or justify it. He simply understood that I was exhausted, vulnerable, and desperately needed somewhere I could feel safe, comfortable, and finally get a good night’s rest. I had just come from Westhampton, where I had been quoted approximately $650 for a hotel room on a Tuesday night during a quiet time of year. By the time I arrived here, I truly did not have the energy left to keep searching or negotiating. Jeremy immediately went above and beyond to find me the best possible rate and make sure I could get settled in quickly and comfortably. But what struck me most was not simply the price or the room—it was his humanity. Jeremy was incredibly warm, genuine, welcoming, and perceptive. There was no forced “customer service” persona about him. He was simply kind. Even my puppy immediately gravitated toward him, which honestly told me everything I needed to know. Jeremy and the other staff members managed to turn what had been a genuinely awful day into a night where I found myself laughing, relaxing, and feeling completely at home. That is an extraordinary thing to be able to do for another person, especially when you have no idea what they may have been dealing with before they walked through your door. In a world where genuine kindness can sometimes feel increasingly rare, Jeremy deserves recognition for the way he treats people. This is what exceptional hospitality actually looks like: reading the situation, treating someone with dignity, making them feel safe and welcome, and doing the little extra things that may seem small to you but can mean everything to the person receiving them. I believe strongly in recognizing people when they go above and beyond, and Jeremy absolutely deserves that recognition. In fact, the kindness and hospitality of Jeremy and the rest of the staff are a major reason I’ve decided to extend my stay for another few nights. As I write this, my puppy is sound asleep beside me on the couch in the lobby because the atmosphere here is genuinely that comfortable. And I think the reason this place has such good energy is very simple: the people who work here create it. Jeremy, thank you so very much. You helped a completely exhausted traveler feel safe, welcomed, and cared for at exactly the moment she needed it most. I will not forget that kindness.

This property is run well with 1 exception. If the house is full of guests, extend breakfast, even if its a Monday, until 10 a.m. Other than that, I would stay here in the future & recommend it to others.

Great property & location! Amazing onsite staff, went above & beyond to be friendly, kind & helpful. Helped make our weekend for a friend's wedding an awesome experience! Would definitely go back!
