Africajade Thalasso

I was in this hotel from September 13th until 24th, in room 247 with a lovely garden view. The room was spacious, with a bit tired but very functional and lovingly maintained furniture. The bed was perfect, the bathroom clean, terrace was very nice with 2 chairs and a table, AC and safe were working. Hotel and the grounds are beautiful, designed in mid-African style, with lush gardens, huge open, enclosed and half-open-air public areas, mostly with soft background music and a piano-player in the evening, birds chirping everywhere, lovely pond with koi-fish. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the resort and with a very good signal. Hotel beach is very long, with almost white soft send, warm and crystal clear sea, ideal for early morning walks. Pool area is huge and there are always available loungers, showers, very clean toilets, even changing rooms, both by the pool and on the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants, some are included in all-inclusive program, some not. Food in the main restaurant was tasty and abounded in choice. Entertainment team was active, calling for games in the garden, in the pool and at the beach throughout the day. There were shows every evening. The staff of the hotel is especially commendable: people working at the Reception (who answered all my questions and helped when I had problems), in the restaurant, in the Lobby bar – so kind, hard working and with a ready smile. My special thanks and regards to Chaima from the Guest relations, who introduced me to her lovely hometown of Korba. Reality of this hotel is even better then the photos on their website and video-clips on social media: what you see is exactly how it is in reality. Heaven on Earth! I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend!

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are very nice and clean. However, the hotel was extremely cold throughout our stay, including the rooms and communal areas, which made it uncomfortable at times. There were also no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and were one of the highlights of the trip. Unfortunately, the food was awful and very disappointing, which really affected the overall experience. Getting to the hotel from the airport was a horrific experience and something I would never do again. Once there, there is very little to do outside the hotel—no sightseeing, the surrounding area looks run down, and it does not feel safe. I would not advise leaving the hotel. While the hotel and beaches are lovely, the food, cold atmosphere, and poor location really let it down.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, but cold lobby, cold meals, cold restaurant. We mentioned this several times and our remarks were not taken seriously, although everybody was sitting and eating wearing their jackets! But the Spa saved our trip! Particularly the massages of Ms Imen, a very professional and friendly person who took care of us the whole week, our warmest thanks to her! Sophie and Nicole

Great animation and enthusiastic crew and relaxing vibe amazing room and soft bed and the food is amazing and the lounge is awesome and calm 😀

The hotel is excellent with some calm and relaxing vibe and the animation crew is fantastic and enthusiastic the kids show is exiting for young and old amd its great
