This hotel is 4 stars but people they work here treat it as 2 starts , who ever is in charge is totally absent ,who’s no show in Friday night at a busy hotel ??? Better to hire ppl that they car and recruit more servers at the pool bar I have been here for less the 4 hours and I’m really annoyed about how ppl are at the pool and how staff is controlling it . They have access for the day to the pool and that make it full and staff can’t control and unsafe environment . Ppl dive on pool , play ball, splash other residents faces and hit them sometimes and when I talked to the life guard he said that he can’t do nothing about it . You come to sir on pool and there is no space ,ppl put towels in morning to get the sport they won’t in afternoon making it impossible to have a place at the pool . Food is expensive and I don’t have even a table to enjoy it . Top prices with lowest services and I’m sure I’ll update this review ,it’s only been couple hours of 3 nights stay . What ever the update will be will Be spread all over the net ,I don’t pay 300$ the night for this low level of services and not to mention when to reception they tried to bounce me and ignore me . I paid top with my credit card services and I’ll Make sure in end of journey that this hotel will get what it deserves and will be taking down from Portal for major safety hazard at least . Beer tastes like soap ,they get the cheapest and charge 10dt for it .

🇹🇳 Honest British Review – Africa Jade Thalasso This is an honest and mainly positive review. We actually had a fantastic time during our 10-night stay at the Africa Jade Thalasso. Myself, my partner and our 16-year-old son stayed here and, despite some issues, we really enjoyed our holiday. 🏨 The Hotel The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It's a very authentic mix of African and Tunisian themes, with incredible attention to detail throughout the décor and presentation. It has a real character to it and certainly doesn't feel like your typical modern resort hotel. The staff are fantastic. From the gardeners to the reception team and activities staff, everyone was friendly, helpful and happy to assist. You can tell that a lot of pride goes into maintaining the hotel. 📍 Location This is something you definitely need to consider before booking. The hotel is very remote. Outside the hotel there is a local supermarket, an ice-cream shop and one restaurant. That's pretty much it. So, if you like going for a walk in the evening, finding different restaurants, having a drink somewhere else or simply exploring outside your hotel, this probably isn't the place for you. It wasn't a problem for us because we were quite happy staying around the hotel, but it's definitely worth knowing before you book. 🎭 Entertainment There is a good variety of entertainment, but a lot of the shows are aimed at younger children. Unfortunately, this meant our 16-year-old found the evenings quite boring at times, as there wasn't a huge amount going on for teenagers or older guests. 🏖️ Beach & Sea Now for one of the best things about Africa Jade... The beach and sea are absolutely stunning. I'd genuinely put them on par with some Caribbean beaches. The sea is warm, crystal clear and very clean. The private beach is also kept really well, with plenty of sun shades available. The entrance into the sea is lovely too — shallow, sandy and without rocks, making it very easy and safe to get in. Just beautiful. 😬 So... onto the bad bits 🍹 The "All Inclusive" Bars This was probably our biggest disappointment. The hotel is advertised as All Inclusive, but unfortunately, we wouldn't consider it fully all-inclusive. The following bars are not included: * Beach Bar – you have to payLarge * * Pool Bar – you have to pay * Sports Bar – you have to pay * Moorish Café – you have to payThis leaves you with two bars included in the All Inclusive package: * Small Pool Bar It's simply too small and can get extremely busy. * Lobby Bar This is where things become frustrating. The lobby itself is beautiful, but in the evenings it gets incredibly busy. On several occasions there was only one person serving, resulting in some very long queues. One evening there were 13 people waiting. We eventually gave up. This really needs sorting out because it's a lovely area of the hotel, but the service and queues completely spoil it. 🍽️ A-la-carte Restaurant Again, this was disappointing. The a-la-carte restaurant isn't included in the All Inclusive package. Most hotels we've stayed in normally allow you to visit their speciality restaurant at least once during your stay as part of the All Inclusive package. Here, you have to pay. For us, that was disappointing and another reason why we felt the "All Inclusive" description was somewhat misleading. 🎾 Activities There is a good selection of daytime activities, including water polo, darts and various other activities. The hotel has also recently opened two new Padel courts, which are really good and very well designed. However... 120 Tunisian dinar (£30) for one hour, plus around £5 each for bat and ball hire, is far too expensive in my opinion. We decided against using them because of the price. 🏍️ Excursions There is an excursion company operating from the hotel lobby. We booked the quad biking excursion, and this was definitely worth doing. Riding through the shaded woodland was a fantastic experience and something we'd recommend. We also did the Pirate Ship excursion. It was good fun, although expect plenty of loud music and some... let's say questionable acting! 😂 You also get the opportunity to jump off the boat and swim in the sea, which was really enjoyable. We paid around 280 Tunisian dinar (£70) each for the two excursions. 🍳 Food & Drinks Breakfast Breakfast was actually pretty good. There was fresh juice available from three machines, coffee from two machines and a good selection of breakfast items. No real complaints here. 🌙 Evening Meals This is where things became a little chaotic. For some reason, the juice machines disappear in the evening. 🤷♂️ The coffee machines are also switched off. So, if you want something to drink with your evening meal, your options are basically: 1. Go and queue at the lobby bar and bring a drink back with you. 2. Try to catch the attention of one of the waiters and hope they bring you something. It was very hit and miss. Sometimes you could get a drink fairly easily, other times you could be waiting around wondering whether anyone had noticed you. It was honestly quite frustrating. As for the food itself, it was OK. There was plenty of it and enough choice, but for us it wasn't anything particularly special or memorable. ⚠️ One thing to know about weekends The beach bar becomes VERY busy at weekends. Don't expect to stroll down at lunchtime and easily find a table. The reason is that the beach bar is open to the public, so at weekends you have both hotel guests and local families using the facilities. I suspect this is also one of the reasons why the beach bar isn't included in the All Inclusive package. ⭐ Overall Verdict Despite everything I've mentioned above, we genuinely had a fantastic holiday. Africa Jade Thalasso is a beautiful hotel, probably one of the nicest we've stayed in from a design and atmosphere point of view. The staff are brilliant, the beach and sea are stunning, and there is plenty to enjoy. However, I do feel the hotel and tour operators need to be clearer about what "All Inclusive" actually means here. For us, it simply didn't feel like a traditional All Inclusive experience. The combination of the remote location, limited evening options outside the hotel and having to pay for several of the main bars and the a-la-carte restaurant ultimately means we wouldn't return. Would we go back? No — but not because we had a bad holiday. We had a brilliant time. It's just too remote for us, and the fact that you can't sit in the beautiful beach bar in the evening without paying for your food and drinks is, in my opinion, ridiculous for a hotel marketed as All Inclusive. Africa Jade is a beautiful hotel and absolutely worth experiencing — just go into it knowing that "All Inclusive" here doesn't mean quite what you might expect. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful holiday at Africa Jade Resort! From the moment we arrived at Africa Jade, we knew we were going to have a lovely holiday. The atmosphere was welcoming, the surroundings were beautiful, and there was such a relaxing feeling throughout the resort. We really enjoyed our stay and left with lots of beautiful memories. One of the biggest highlights for us was the beach. It was absolutely beautiful, with soft sand, clear water, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Whether you want to swim, sunbathe, take a walk along the beach, or simply enjoy the peaceful view, it is a wonderful place to spend the day. We were also very happy with the food. There was a good variety of dishes, with different options throughout our stay, so we always had something tasty to choose from. The meals were enjoyable, and we especially appreciated having different choices for different tastes. Another thing that really made our holiday special was the animation team. They were fantastic! They were always friendly, positive, energetic, and ready to involve everyone without being pushy. They created such a fun atmosphere around the resort and made sure there was something happening during the day and evening. A big thank you to the whole team for their great energy! There were plenty of activities during the day, which made it impossible to get bored. We really enjoyed taking part in darts, archery, volleyball, and the other games and activities organised by the animation team. It was a great way to have fun, stay active, and meet other guests. Even if you prefer relaxing, you can always choose whether to join in or simply enjoy watching. The evenings were just as enjoyable. The mini disco was a lovely part of the evening, especially for the children. The atmosphere was cheerful and everyone seemed to have a great time. After that, we could enjoy the different evening shows, which were varied and entertaining. It was really nice to sit down, relax, and watch the performances after a full day at the beach and taking part in activities. We also loved the overall atmosphere of the resort. There is a nice balance between relaxation and entertainment — you can spend the day doing activities and having fun, or simply relax by the beach and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A special thank you to all the staff for their kindness and hospitality, and especially to the animation team for putting so much effort into making the guests happy and entertained. Their smiles, enthusiasm, and positive attitude really made a difference to our holiday. 🌟 All in all, we had a fantastic experience at Africa Jade. Beautiful beach, enjoyable food, fun activities, great entertainment, and wonderful memories. It was the kind of holiday where you can truly switch off, enjoy yourself, and have a great time with family or friends. We would happily recommend Africa Jade to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing holiday, and we would definitely be happy to come back again! Thank you, Africa Jade, for an unforgettable stay!
